Guest Reviews
- christine (8/5): Logement agréable - Logement spacieux ,agréable et confortable ,très propre . A 15- 20 mn à pied du centre ville, cela se fait très bien. Les escaliers très raides mais on s'y habitue .

- Andrea (6/5): Nice house, good for parking and location. Good facilities, but beds need improving. - Good location for travelling with a car, and free parking behind the house was great. Beds not very comfortable. Also, would have liked to know beforehand that one bedroom, bathroom and living space was in a separate building to the main house. The stairs were extremely steep and risky walking up/down them.

- Andrew (1/5): Overpriced for the facilities, poor cleanliness and will never go again. - Easy reach of the old town, parking at the rear of property, comfortable beds and warm accomodation considering how cold it was outside. The fours beers from the owners own brewery a nice touch. The description of the accomodation inaccurate, if does not state there was a separate annex for for some of the beds and bathroom. The stairs to the rooms were dangerous (painted with shiny paint) and very steep. One of the bathrooms had mould on the tiles and in the other shower handle broken. Kitchen facilities, the oven was one of the portable types, could cook one pizza at time. On Christmas day, we looking forward to roast potatoes with gammon and vegatables, switched it on and it set fire, looked for a fire blanket to put it out (non available). Contacted the owner said could not replaced but will bring an air fryer instead. The air fryer was disgusting and very dirty and there was no way i was going to serve food cooked in it. Also wifi only works in main accomodation downstairs.

- pak yu patrick (9/5): Itchy but amazing - The beer was excellent and it was such a lovely place for the price I believe there is a leakage or open spot of the sewage system which created a serious mosquito problem. Me, my mom, and sister all received a lot of bites. I got a total of 16 bites on all my limps and they were so itchy for a good 3 days. I think if the host can provide some pest control solution this place will be perfect!
- Andre P Knight (3/5): Poorly maintained, and no way could you feed 6 people properly at this house! - Location was good. The property has a number of failings, which made our stay in Bruges not overly enjoyable:
1. There are no bedroom or bathroom keys. Considering that we were four unrelated men staying at The Brewer's House, it was necessary to have privacy. We could not do this as the main bathroom and 1st floor bedrooms did not have lockable doors. Despite the handles having locks, there were no keys present.
2. The bathroom door to/from the bedroom does not latch and constantly comes open.
3. There is a broken armchair in the lounge.
4. The only 'oven' available was a small microwave oven and a basic, tiny electric one. This was not big enough to hold a dish/casserole sufficient for four people.
5. There was only one bin bag provided.
6. The overhead lights in the lounge kitchen area had many bulbs that were not working.
7. The bread bin contained t-lights and a lighter. The lighter did not work.
- Ben (10/5): Excellent for Bruges - Lovely house, perfect for visiting Bruges. There is so much room, we booked for 6 people but there were enough beds for 9
- Alina (9/5): Dom spełnił moje oczekiwania - Bardzo duży dobrze wyposażony dom z kilkoma sypialniami, położony w cichej okolicy miasta. Duże wygodne łóżka, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Dobra lokalizacja. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny Polecam
- Margaret (10/5): - A wonderful house to relax in and great location for sogjt seeing. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay here.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Carla (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (9/5): Great trip, accomodation ideal and Bruge has plenty to offer. - Ideal location, plenty of room. Family and I enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future.
- Felipe (10/5): Exceptional - awesome place. in walking distance from old town. superb host. the stairs of the main house can be scary at first, but you get used to them in no time. the bathroom in the secondary house could use a shower curtain because the toilet gets all wet after a shower, which is not pleasant.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Turner (9/5): Superb - Close to Brugges. Everything you need. Modern clean and cozy. We loved it.
- Helen (7/5): Great location to explore Bruge - The location was excellent. We could easily walk into Bruge each day. There was easy access to the house, with free parking and the communication with the owner was quick and helpful. There was a good supermarket nearby by car. The bathrooms were modern and well equipped. The living area had a nice big table to sit and eat and play games together and there was also an outside patio area to eat in too. We were quite unlucky with our timing in this property I think. The weather was extremely hot and there were no fans, making it very difficult to sleep in the upstairs. The next door neighbour was also doing renovation work every evening which was noisy. The stairs are also really steep so you need to be very careful and the beds are very firm.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Fantastic stay in an incredible house with outdoor garden. - Fantastic large property within walking distance to the centre. Very well equipped, however a washing machine would be a good addition Great that it has free parking.
- Rachel (8/5): Great location for Bruges centre but beware of the very narrow steep stairs in the property! - Lovely and modern, clean and fresh. Great location to walk into Bruges centre and off road parking, easy to find. Very steep narrow wooden staircases, very dangerous for young children, we weren’t aware before hand and no toilet on top floor which meant using the steep stairs if needed to use during the night, a little inconvenient. We ended up blocking off the staircases at night to avoid accidents.
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Great location, just a 20min walk into the centre past the gatehouse and the windmills. Great to have parking onsite.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - The house is very comfortable size with a well equipped kitchen and good beds. Nicely decorated and very light. Off street parking is a bonus. It is an easy walk to the centre of Bruges. Nothing.
- Kate (6/5): Good location, but is a fair 15-20 min walk to get to the town centre. - Bedding and pillows require update, as were not comfortable.
Property sleeps 8 - additional comfortable lounge furniture/couch would make sitting together in the lounge area more appealing. Didn't realise the accommodation was split between two buildings, connected across a courtyard. Would be helpful to have two sets of keys, so can lock doors in the evening, but still have set for emergency if required.
Stairs are steep, so not appropriate for all.
Nice to have parking on site, out the back.
- Helen (10/5): A stay to remember. - The Brewers House is a lovely property, just a short walk from the centre of Brugge and in a great neighbourhood. We took up the option of having a tasting session of Brecht's superb beers and gins - and I cannot recommend this highly enough. Isabelle's accompanying tapas and dinner was absolutely delicious and all in all it was an evening we will remember for a very long time.
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (5/5): Lovely house but needs some upgrading - The location was good, within walking distance to the city centre. There was no Wi-Fi and the host did not engage with us regarding same. The property definitely needs some attention: one of the toilet seats is cracked, the upstairs bath is extremely stained, the window blind in the top floor bedroom is broken, the bed linen is old and there was a sparse supply of pillows, blankets and towels. The house was also cold and there were no instructions on how to operate the heating system.
- Mag_ellen (9/5): Perfect for cyclists. - Perfect place for exploring Bruges on bicycles - right near the Kruispoortbrug and the scenic trail on the Dijk that gives easy access to all town sites. Great courtyard, beautiful flowers. Good cooking facilities. Large refrigerator but no freezer. Master suite was awesome. plenty of beds and space. perfect for families or young people but with 2 couples traveling together we hoped for a convenient bathroom near second couple's bedroom.
- Lindsey (9/5): Wonderful house, in a great location and made the ideal 2 night stay for us! - The lay out was ideal for our family of 2 adults and 5 teenagers. The Bed in the main bedroom was huge! The house was well situated for our walk into town and was well equipped with a short walk to a large supermarket. When we had a problem with no electric (the problem was in the whole area and came back on quickly) the response from the owners was immediate, they have been great answering any questions we had. We had a lovely stay, thank you and hope to come back again soon. The beer was much appreciated!! The sofa in the living room wasn’t the most comfy, it was sloped outward so a bit like a slide!
- Denis (9/5): Big Family trip to Brugge - It's a lot of space for the price and in a very good location. Lot's of parking space as well. Very nice and helpful hosts. Beautiful Hortensias in the garden. Our big family spent a wonderful time in this beautiful city and we want to get back for sure! The only potential downside (not for us, but for readers to know) could be that the stairs are quite steep - so if you have problems with mobility, this house may not be for you.
- Sharon (7/5): Good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Beautiful and conveniently located house for a get away in Bruges! - We enjoyed everything about this house from the location to the amazing owners. The owners responded to questions very quickly.
The location with about 10-15 minutes into down town Bruges depending on where you were going. The house had plenty of room for 2 families and the beds were comfortable. Also plenty of parking space behind the house.
It was a major plus that the owners came to us and cooked a 7 course meal along with a gin and beer tasting. I would highly recommend this house! Nothing
- Neville (9/5): terrific base to explore a beautiful city - Clean and a good size. Pleasant walk into town.
- Kay (10/5): Gorgeous place to stay - Gorgeous, spacious home. Loads if facilities to use. Lovely bedrooms and comfy beds. Beers a nice touch but happy with the property without them.
Location is great. Nothing really. I guess light sleepers might struggle with the sound of the street but we just popped in ear plugs.
- Marilena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Fabulous property, very close to the centre of Bruges - The location, the communication, the house, the service, the ability to park the car, and the personal welcoming from the owners who weren't in town but made sure everything was perfect. Only the steep stairs! It is a really lovely place
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
