Guest Reviews
- Magdaléna (8/5): Amazing place with just some information lacking - Amazing location, even more cute and romantic than in the pictures! A stream flows directly under the terrace! You’re completely surrounded by forest and field, with a lot of sun during the day. It is not explicitly mentioned that there is no running water, and I had to ask three times for the owner to tell me this. While it is not a big issue to get bottled water on your way, you have to know it and prepare. Also, it was not the cleanest, but OK considering it’s a cabin in the woods. Also kinda hard to get there, maps don’t navigate you correctly and the owner neither.

- Immo (8/5): Beautiful peaceful rustic cabin, back to basics and back to nature. - Location is beautiful and peaceful and private.
Other than the odd car or tractor that pass by on the road a couple hundred meters away there is just the sounds of nature to be heard.
There are no other dwellings nearby and with the cabin being surrounded on 3 sides by trees it feels like you're completely withdrawn from the world which is lovely.
There is a nice little town close by with all the necessities and some good places to eat out.
Hosts are very friendly and helpful.
The cabin is rustic, basic but cosy. It's a bit of a combination between camping and staying in a cabin.
The fire pit is great!
Lots of wildlife around the cabin with deer, frogs, squirrels, dragonflies, birds all making regular appearances.
Some really nice swimming lakes nearby.
All in all a great place to stay to get away from the hectic pace of every day life for a while. Some of the facilities are basic and a couple are worse for wear and could use some updating, but it isn't supposed to be luxury. It's back to basics and nature so really just some updating of a few worn-out facilities is all that's needed.
It isn't completely clear from the description but there isn't any running water so no shower or washing facilities and no drinking water. There is no refrigerator on-site. None of these are negatives, just be aware of what to expect.
Other than lighting which is provided by a rechargeable mobile power supply, there isn't any power available so don't take lots of mobile or power hungry equipment or if you do, don't expect to use them without a generator.
We used some solar panels for charging phones and a camp solar shower for washing which worked fine.
The beds are short and simple. Don't expect to stretch your legs if you're taller than 1.83m.
