• anna (3/5): Pessimo, pago e pretendo ciò che vedo nell’annuncio non che mi devo adattare perché il luogo è storico - Posizione e tipicità di un palazzo di fine ottocento Se offri un appartamento non lo puoi dividere poi in due per avere doppio introito. Le foto ingannano perché sono di entrambi i mini vani. A noi è capitata l’ex zona notte. Un loculo tradotto in bagno con water e micro lavandino, un secondo ricavo per una doccia e mini lavandino. Se cerco un appartamento, voglio perlomeno l’angolo cottura, inesistente, stesso discorso per tavolo e sedie inesistenti. Doccia che non scarica, lampade da comodino inutili perché non c’è la presa elettrica, nessuna presa elettrica in bagno per asciugarsi i capelli. Insomma le vogliamo definire la struttura seicentesca non può competere con le esigenze del turista del 2025. Sono veramente dispiaciuto e non è mia abitudine, posso garantire che questa è la la mia seconda recensione negativa in 30 anni di viaggi, ma se compro su annuncio e foto pretendo di avere quello per qui ho pagato.
• traveling children (7/5): Week end a Napoli con famiglia - Posizione centrale, servita, proprietario gentilissimo ci ha fornito anche tutte le indicazioni sulle cose da vedere con anche le indicazioni per raggiungerle. Nulla, perfetta per il soggiorno
• GRAZIELLA (8/5): - Posizione centralissima per spostarsi anche a piedi. Ideale per vivere il centro storico di Napoli. I proprietari ci hanno dato informazioni per potersi muovere e visitare i luoghi principali. La posizione della casa ci ha molto soddisfatti.

• Stefan (9/5): Sehr zentral in der Altstadt gelegen - wunderbarer Startpunkt für Stadterkundungen - Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral neben dem Dom - fußläufig ist die gesamte Innenstadt gut erreichbar, es ist viel Besucherverkehr in der Via Duomo mit dem entsprechenden Lärmpegel, gute Cafes gleich nebenan zum Start in den Tag, viele Resrtaurants in der Nähe ... Das Bad und das WC sind sehr klein, aber es ist machbar.

The entire place was dusty, and under the beds as well as across the floor we found hair, dust, and even nail clippings. The glasses were not clean, and most concerning of all, we discovered clumps of hair inside the refrigerator. This was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable.

• Arlene (5/5): Better to stay somewhere else that doesn't smell so awful and has better air conditioning. - Our host, Mavi, was spectacular! She was a wonderful communicator, answered all our questions, gave us ideas of what to explore and where to eat, and even helped us book our taxi at a fare rate to return to the airport. We had no issues with her and loved working with her! Unfortunately, the entire apartment truly had the worst stench ever. It smelled of stale smoke and sewage. We realize it was an old building, but we didn't want to be in the apartment for more than sleeping. There was only one AC unit and it could barely cool down the room and the upstairs was stale and hot. Our boys were pretty miserable sleeping upstairs. The beds were very bare minimum, not very comfortable. Lastly, we worked very had the first day to keep the AC on, doors shut to the bathroom area to keep the room cooled down. We spent the whole second day outside and sweating and we were looking forward to coming back to a cooled room. We were SO UPSET that someone came into our apartment unannounced and had turned off the AC and the lights we left on. We felt our privacy was invaded. We were only there two nights. It was absurd for them to come in and do that and not even clean anything. Again, very rude to come in and not tell us they would. Lastly, the bathrooms were miserably hot and far too small. Me and my kids are SMALL and we barely had any room to shower or go to the bathroom. There was no space to put things down or hooks on the walls for towels and toiletries. Lastly, the street was extremely busy and loud with cars honking all throughout the night. We have stayed at many B&Bs before and this was our least pleasant experience.

• Christine (7/5): You are right in the middle of the action which was great for one day. - Unique layout with plenty of room for a family with 2 kids to sleep. The shower was huge! In the main bedroom there is an opening in the wall that allows sound and air to flow easily into the bedroom. When the people next door came home late it was startling because it sounded like they were in the bedroom with us! The air in this room also smelled like stale cigarettes.

• Constance (10/5): Napoli Centro Storico was charming and convenient - we felt like we were part of Naples life. - The location was superb - we were in the heart of the old historic centre, next to the Duomo. We could walk to all the sites we wanted to see & the central station. The street - Via Duomo - had plenty of restaurants and cafes - easy to get breakfast and dinner. The cafe immediately downstairs was particularly friendly for breakfast. Via Duomo seemed very popular with locals too so we were able to observe local life from our wonderful window seat. Because of the liveliness of the streets, we always felt safe walking around. The street quietens down later at night so sleeping is no problem. The apartment itself is charming and made us feel like we were part of Naples for our stay. Mavi was a wonderful host - she checked in with us to see if we needed anything and helped us out with a few administrative and tourist questions.
• Eleonora (8/5): Very cozy little apparent inside of Naples heart - Very cozy little apparent inside of Naples heart, close to restaurants, bars, train station only 20 minutes walk. We had a very lovely time. The street wasn’t too noisy, like many of the streets that I remember in others parts of the city. The owners are super nice, they gave us all the info about Naples. The shower room can be improved, maybe put some kind of hooks where guests can hang up towels and maybe few shelves to place toiletry items.

• Giovanna (3/5): Good location but the property does not match the description of 2 bedrooms. - The location is very central but it can be noisy. The facility is suitable for a family or couple. The room was advertised as 2 bedroom flat with 2 bathrooms with bath tap and shower. Instead it is 1 bedroom with additional beds on a wooden mezzanine. There is no door to close the bedroom or to separate the mezzanine beds. The bathroom with bathtap and shower is actually 1. The other bathroom is tiny, no window or air ventilation with only toilet, sink and bidet. The bathroom and sanitary ware were not properly clean (hair from previous guests, stains int he sink etc.). The host is unable and unwilling to provide a proper receipt or invoice of the full amount paid to Booking.

Also, the hosts are really kind - they send us a detailed information with monuments around us and good places for food, also they assist us with the baggage between the check out and the flight. Out stay was wonderful, I recommend it!

They helped us regardless of day or night, with information about which places we can visit in Naples, how to better organize our visit here. We were very pleased with them. The bathroom could be bigger. But it was OK, considering the age of the buildings.

• Agnesina (8/5): Hidden gem in the beating heart of Naples - This apartment is a true gem. Hosts were very easy to reach out to both before and after our arrival. Very responsive and kind. The apartment is in an outstanding location (15 minutes walk from the train station) and 5 to 20 minutes walk to each and every spot considered as a must when in Naples (San Gregorio Armeno, Spaccanapoli, Sanità, Quartieri Spagnoli, Duomo, Gesù Nuovo, Santa Chiara etc). The apartment is also equipped with airconditioning and a full furnished kitchen. Biggest issue we had was with the bathtub in one of the two bathrooms (the one located downstairs). It did not have enough pressure in order for the shower to work and the shower itself did not work at all (we are pretty sure the previous guests did something as we immediately called Antonio to see what the problem was and he was the one telling us that it was not working properly). This all happened during a Bank Holiday weekend so there was nothing that could be done (this was not the host fault tho, they could not know as we checked in right after some other guests left). If I may, I would suggest to use a curtain of some sort to separate the master bedroom from the other one for a better privacy.

• Vicki (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a central location, close to everything in the Centro Storico - The pictures don't do this venue justice. It was a beautiful apartment on a main thoroughfare with a balcony that gave us a great view up and down the street. The street was so active and entertaining, but very quiet at night. There were restaurants next door, a taxi stand across the street and everything you could imagine from clothing to dining at hand. It's very close walking distance to all the major attractions of the historical centre. The apartment has the bedrooms in a loft area, with a small half bath off the master bedroom. The perfect thing for seniors like us! The hosts were wonderful, very attentive, helpful and always just a couple of minutes away by phone, text or email. Immediate responses every time. The main bathroom was large, with a jacuzzi tub/shower combination and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was very well-equipped and there were lots of cleaning supplies available. The air conditioning worked well. Access is easy, either with keys or codes you punch in. If we are lucky enough to return to Naples, this is definitely where we want to stay. The stairs creaked but what wooden stairs don't? This is a great place to stay.
• James (10/5): Bellissimo! - What can we say about Mavi, Antonio & their place? Bellissimo! We went to Napoli for our birthdays & felt welcomed into a real Napolitano house. The responsiveness & care that both Mavi & Antonio gave to our stay made the trip our best we have had. We have fallen in love with Napoli & the hospitality both have shown along with the city. They gave us great advice on beaches & getting around such as our visit to Vesuvio, even fixed a problem with the shower. We feel they put a lot of effort into the rooms & will definitely be back soon to see them, to stay in the bigger room next time. Bravo Mavi, bravo Antonio! Really there are no negatives & we feel any bad reviews we've seen are not deserved.
• Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was so beautiful that the memory of Napoli will remain extremely strong sealed in our hearts! Living in this apartment for almost a week helped us feel like a true italian couple only by drinking our coffees on the balcony of this lovely and bohemian apartment situated in the old city centre! • Wilhelm (10/5): It was perfect! - Mavi and Antonio were very friendly and helpful all the time. We appreciated their kindness and welcoming, so that we felt at home in this apartment. My kids liked Mavi lot and she invited them on several occasions! I can say that this was the best place to stay and we could get a very good impression of the Napoli.
