Guest Reviews
- Joanna (8/5): Lovely Antwerp hoyse - Location excellent and very very quiet fir a city centre. House very old and interesting, had everything we needed. Lots of spiral stairs, ok for us but would be difficult for older people or very young children.
- Julia-Christin (10/5): -
- Daniel (9/5): -
- Martin (8/5): Weekend trip with young kids - It has a lot of character, great location, good showers. Clean. Being an old house noise does travel, especially with kids. Downstairs and the living room were quite cold despite having the heating on.

Niets.
- Gezellige ruimte, fijne bedden, mooie badkamers, hygiëne, centrale ligging.
- Giuseppe (10/5): Top - Tutto Nulla
- Daniel (10/5): - House was gorgeous
Location was superb
Communication was great There were a lot of stairs but that's normal for Antwerp

- Daney (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house, fantastic location.
- Rr_mz (8/5): Strategic position in Antwerp - Traditional Belgian home in a historical building, central in Antwerp and walking distance from everything. Can be easily approached by car to load/unload, parking options are available nearby.
Hosts are nice and available, and we found everything we needed. Furniture was nice and modern. Well it's a traditional home in an old building, therefore be prepared for a lot of steep and narrow stairs, dark corners, and squeaky floors :-)
There is not a lot of storage, but it was not an issue for us over a weekend.
- Michelle (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return soon - Cozy feel and excellent location We couldn’t find instructions for tv !
- David (9/5): We had a great time - Location was great - near everything. Beautiful house with lots of character - and a nice terrace.
- Christopher (9/5): 4 floors with a narrow staircase. Floor 1: kitchen, table, half bath; floor 2: living room and a full bath; floor 3: roo - Great location, lots of charm, and very attentive host. Lots of going up and down stairs, given the location of the bathrooms. Very creaky floors, as you might expect from an old house. No screens on windows, which means risk of mosquitoes on warmer nights.
- Dzianis (8/5): Very good - Location, wibe, cozy Lack of toilet on second flour
- Tineke (10/5): absolutely recommended - Excellent location-really in the city center. Spotlessly clean. All amenities that one needed were present: kitchen (incl. some food items everyone needs), 2 very well decorated and handy bathrooms, and handy items like dishwasher or wash machine tabs. Host was very responsive and proactive, and allowed us to flexibility with regard to luggage drop off/pick up so we could maximize our stay. Very quite at night and even a small terrace-which should be lovely in summer. The books in the library! Be aware that this house has many stairs-this is not a place for you if you have difficulties to climb stairs (elderly people). For our family (with teenagers) this was of course not a problem:-)
- Pelinsu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (9/5): Apartment with a lot of character but also a steep staircase - The apt has a lot of character and the pics are a good reflection what you get. Four total floors. Ground floor has a kitchen, dining table, and half bathroom (toilet/sink). 1st floor is the family room with a full bathroom. 2nd floor had a bedroom (queen bed and bunk-bed that can sleep 3), washer & dryer, and half bathroom (shower/sink). 3rd floor was a bedroom with access to a balcony.
Beds are comfy and it feels like a real home. Didn't use the TV but washer/dryer worked well. Kitchen was well stocked and had more than just the basics. There were also motion-dectector lights in certain areas (stairwell and washrooms) that we generally liked but it was an issue in the bathroom when showering. There are a lot of books/comics and even a little desk my son used to write/color on.
The area felt safe and is close to the shopping district. There is a nearby grocery store within 5 min walk away.
Communication was quick and courteous. I appreciated the tips that were provided and were also allowed to check-in early. As indicated in previous reviews, the staircase is steep and there are some uneven areas on the ground floor. Ground floor heating didn't warm up the area as much as we would have liked but it's an older apt and there is a door and huge windows.
Wifi could have been stronger in some places and it took almost a full day to get heating in the overall apt to a decent level. As an FYI for those with children, there is no bathtub (just showers)
- Antobettati (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (8/5): Had really good stay - would stay again as it’s best location we have stayed in antwerp. Very quiet location . - Fab location!
Also cozy and very quiet for central location Well we loved it but I think it’s a bit tricky with the stairs
- Tony (10/5): Perfect property, perfect location - Fantastic location being walking distance into the city. Lovely back street so noise level low. All the facilities you could want to find. Stairs are narrow, steep and creaky
- Marianna (8/5): We all enjoyed the house and the city. - It is a lovely house in a great location, close to the main market and many restaurants, but out of the crowded area. The well-equipped kitchen and the dining area are a pleasant, welcoming sight as one enters the house. Also on the 1st floor is a toilet and sink. But, there is an easily trippable area on the floor from the dining room to the kitchen. The highlight is the living room on the 2nd floor, a room to relax in - sofa and chairs very comfortable. The 2 bathrooms were very nice, one on the 2nd floor, with a shower, toilet and sink, and one on the 3rd with a shower and sink, no facility on the 4th floor. The balcony off the 2nd bedroom (4th floor) was very nice w a great view of the city. Hosts were exceptionally helpful in allowing us to leave the tax money in the house instead of paying with a money transfer before we left the U.S., which would have cost more than the tax itself. While it was great to have the washer and dryer, there were no instructions on how to use them. We managed to wash clothes, but the dryer didn't work. No privacy in master bedroom on 3rd floor b/c of window to stairwell, with no curtain. Shower in 3rd floor bathroom was fully visible from the balcony through the skylight of the shower. Standing in the stairwell, there is a clear view into the 4th floor bedroom through a grate in the floor. For the elderly, it might be a problem not having a toilet on the same floor as the bedroom.
- Izabela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (5/5): Enjoyed the city and the location of the accommodation but had reservations about the accommodation. - Location great.
Facilities individually were good. Selected because we needed two bathrooms.
But did not expect to have to go down two floors of narrow winding stairs to access them - especially toilets at night. Stairs were very narrow and difficult for elderly senior citizens. Plus the ground floor kitchen/dining area had several serious tripping hazards.
- Owen (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Camilla (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (10/5): amazing 3 story town house in the heart of this great city - perfect location- next to great selection of the cities bars, restaurants and shops. Lovey layout - open kitchen with seating for 8 people, 2 x well appointed showers and WCs. No noise outside, comfortable beds. Narrow stairs weren’t a problem for our group, but bear in mind if travelling with people who have mobility issues.
- Pelinsu (10/5): Exceptional -
