- norcal (9/5): Perfect location and quite comfortable. - The location is excellent -- five minutes from the tube and a grocery store, and a dozen good restaurants within a short walk. Also, five minutes to the British Museum. I liked having a full kitchen available although I just made light snacks. The water heater quit again (as it did two years ago). I just looked up the maintenance manual for that brand of heater on the internet and saw how to reset the heater. It was working again in ten minutes Also, since I was there for 10 days, it would have been nice to have more than one small bottle of shampoo and body wash. The stairs might be a problem for some people.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Melani (4/5): I would recommend a deep clean of the whole flat. - The area Not as clean as it should’ve been- clean sofa stains
- Aswin (6/5): Pleasant - Location. Quick walk to Holborn underground station (and not far from Tottenham Court station). Street noise can be a bit of a problem, but not bad overall. The place is just ok, not particularly spacious and the bed isn't very comfortable.
- Keith (9/5): Superb -
- Carl (7/5): Very pleasant, good location and great bed. - Location and the room had all the amenities I needed. There were some minor maintenance issues with the room: bathroom sink was slow to drain; the dining table was "wobbly." We chose to live with the issues and didn't contact the owners.
Previous reviews mentioned the stairs. We were two flights up and we were able to get the suitcases to the flat. The stairs are narrow and steep. Suggest mentioning if there are mobility issues, request the lower flats.
- Mette (8/5): Very good -
- Jonathan (7/5): Great location for the west end of London. - The location was great. The facilities in the flat were good. The bed was very comfortable. There was no water for the whole of Thursday morning. I am awaiting a response regarding compensation for this but have had no reply whatsoever, which is not at all satisfactory. It was a bit warm without any air conditioning and noisy with the windows open.
- Mary (10/5): Clean, comfortable with great location - Light, bright clean and modern. Great location and easy access with door codes. Close to underground stops, theater, restaurants and museums. Comfortable bed and appreciated having a dishwasher during our week-long stay.
- Tiffany (10/5): Great location, spacious, cozy, and clean! Very responsive host too. - Great location, spacious, cozy, and clean! Very responsive host too.
- Nir (8/5): A great centrally located place to stay, perfect for short stays - The stay was very good. The location is just right to combine being in the heart of London without feeling overwhelmed with street noise at all times. When we had problems reaching the staff via WhatsApp, we were able to reach them via the extremely helpful staff via email (though not through booking's system for some reason). All the facilities in the flat were well-maintained and in great condition. The apartment has venetian blinds, which are beautiful, but don't block out sunlight - while we were staying the sun went up at about 4 am - curtains could very well benefit the place for a better sleep, especially since there is no door between the sleeping area and the rest of the flat. When we arrived for a nine night stay we received four washing machine tablets, four dishwasher tablets, three garbage bags and four toilet rolls. We ended up buying more as we had problems reaching the staff mentioned (which was distressing in itself) and when our message got to them it didn't help much. I want to stress this is a minor issue at best, but it did create a less welcoming feeling. At the time of our stay there were renovations at the next building so it did create some noise.
- Cooper (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virginia (9/5): Superb -
- Money (8/5): Lovely studio in an excellent location. - Would have been useful to be told in the arrival instructions that the entrance is actually in Bury Place , not in Bloomsbury Way. This was clear on the map but since you can't print that it would be nice to have it in writing.
- Michelle (8/5): Lovely facilities, convenient for short stay in London - Great location, lovely living space in the heart of London. British Museum at the end of the street. Street noise, road works at time of stay
- Chelsea (8/5): Very good -
