Guest Reviews
- Gayle (4/5): Disappointing -
- Stefanie (6/5): Location is great, but that’s about it ! Look elsewhere. - The property was very well located and walking distance to the Main Street in town. I booked this as it was dog friendly and that was my main priority. Unfortunately it’s an older property and hasn’t had any renovations done, so old kitchen and old bathroom. The beds aren’t very comfortable and pillows are terrible. There is one couch in the lounge room with a stained cover on it and one small chair. The side table is stained as is the carpet. The light on the back patio didn’t work which made it hard to take the dog out of an evening. There were all cracked tiles in the backyard. The fence was broken and falling over. There was also dog poops in the backyard that had not been picked up from the previous renter. Standard needs to come up ALOT, it’s just not up to par for what’s being charged.
- Arianne (8/5): Convenient cute cottage, close to the Orange town centre and that’s pet friendly! - -Great location - conveniently walkable to the town centre and Cook park 🌳
-Quiet street 🎵
-Clean overall 🧼
-Pet friendly 🐶 - Needs some modern updates, could do with a bit of renovation ie. new curtains in the master bedroom (the left window was missing curtains)
- there were exposed nails in the Master bedroom wall (I assume a painting was removed)
-Needed a non-oil lamp heater for the Master bedroom
- Need to update the power outlets (there was a broken and exposed power outlet in the kitchen)
-more Kitchen amenities were needed ie. paper towels, more tea selections and a drying rack for dishes.
- The front doors were difficult to unlock with the keys every time we tried to open and lock the door.
- Gary (2/5): Very poor - Location was great. A well-located house, but is very tired and in need of a major facelift.
The windows don't open and only 1 lock on the front door works.
There were remnants of old light fittings and other junk taking up space in the bedroom cupboards and the mattresses are old and sunken from years of use.
The tap casing in the shower came off in my hands, and all the powerpoints are very old and looked.dangerous
- Darren (8/5): Very good - Location
- Peter (5/5): Passable -
- Fiona (7/5): Very enjoyable - I loved the location and the bedrooms. Comfortable with heating and the garden The kitchen stove was a bit dated
- Heidi (7/5): Sufficient, over priced - Location Bed uncomfortable, blinds and curtains broken on window
- Damian (8/5): Very good - Cute cottage close to Cafe, shops, Cook Park and the local Aquatic Centre.
- Anonymous (7/5): A beautiful location and lovely, cosy home. - Beautiful location and bedrooms Our bed was quite uncomfortable
- Anthony (2/5): Very poor - Warm bed - only warm place in the place Cold house with grossly inadequate heating and insulation; could not get picture on bedroom TV; standard of fittings and provisions that of cheap motel; check in instructions did not come through until after I arrived in Orange and sent a message.
- Leanne (8/5): Our stay was great, loved the little cottage. - No Breakfast included. Location was great. All was great, no dislikes.
- Maria (8/5): Good location from our sporting event, clean and comfortable. - location and comfortable kitchen was missing some bowls and utensils for a family of four.
- Johnston (3/5): Over-priced and not nearly as nice as it looks in the photos. - The location was great. Tiles missing from doorstep was an early warning. Really shabby attempt at renovation. kitchen was awful - hasn't been updated since 1950s; stove with rusted elements.
Bed was so saggy that we ended up sleeping in separate rooms. Same with the lounge - sagged so badly you couldn't both sit on it.
At this price, you expect the cottage to be properly renovated.
- Maree (9/5): had an excellent stay and would highly recommend - clean, well maintained. good communication from bnb made easy. close to all facilities kitchen a little old .
