Madi (7/5): Good - The large lawn was wonderful, the kids were able to run around and play and the fence kept them safe, particularly the toddlers. The view of the ocean was phenomenal, and the deck was lovely. The cleanliness could have been better. I cleaned out the filter of the dishwasher because it was not cleaning properly. The cutlery had residue of food stuck to it (looked like it had gone through the dishwasher, but it did not clean well). The gloves that were there to wash were also very worn and looked yuck. Maybe change them when they start to look bad. The sheets were rented but were rough. Since the linen was rented, I would expect better quality than what we got, but it was convenient not to have to bring ours down. And while it is not exactly a problem making the beds, having us rent them then make our beds on arrival was a little eyebrow-raising. Also, one of the beds only got a bottom sheet and not a top. The double beds also felt very delicate. Despite all this, we may stay at this place again, but we would bring a lot of our own things, including cleaning equipment. The lawn and view were worth it.
Bursell (8/5): Loved it. Perfect spot. Oldie but a goodie! - Location - the whale highway was witnessed from the lounge room. Plenty of space for cricket and soccer in the back yard, beds were comfy enough. Only one toilet but it wasn’t an issue.
