Guest Reviews
- Heather (9/5): Enjoyable and will come again . - Modern, comfortable and clean. A minor thing - found it unusual for an Air BnB facility to not provide some milk and a small welcome token .
- Amber (5/5): Sewage smell ruined the stay - We absolutely loved the location and the renovation was lovely. HOWEVER, there was a continual smell of sewage in the property. The smell is particularly bad in the entry, dining and laundry area. The washing machine also smelled like something had died inside. There is something wrong with the old plumbing that really should be looked in to if you want to charge almost $300/night. Unfortunately I would not rebook this property because of the smell.
- Alison (4/5): Disappointing - Clean
Comfortable On entry smelt “musty” and a bit damp.
Suggest the property is aired before guests arrive. There were a number of un emptied DampRid containers. One of which fell and spilt onto one of the guests soft leather (expensive) sandals. Which were ruined. We are awaiting resolution of this. Suggest a more generous feel could be achieved with e.g. a bottle of milk in fridge etc. @$551 for 2 nights it seems fair to be “welcoming”.
- Julie (7/5): Spacious, private property close to town centre. - Checking in experience was easy. This is a spacious house - easily room for four people. It's about 10 minutes walk to the town centre in a lovely street and there's garage parking for one car. The beds were comfortable, with good linen and the property was clean and had pretty homewares. A large, well equiped kitchen and private garden make it a quiet place to relax. Shower was powerful and we were especially delighted with the laundry :) Overall, the house needs a little update in places. The bathroom is older style and looking a bit tired. Some kitchen mugs were stained, scuffed walls, older rugs, laundry pegs were broken and the toilet doesn't work as well as it might. The choice of large rusted barbed wire ball decorations on the ground of the garden patio seemed a little unwise.
- Smc (9/5): Superb -
- Lulu (10/5): Best experience. Made me love Orange even more! - I loved the location of the premises and how easy it was to enter. The lockbox is a great idea and we felt safe and secure in the property. The property is beautiful and has lovely furnishings. The kitchen is great if you are entertaining. The host has quality products such as liquid soap, laundry pods and body wash. We enjoyed being warm all the time with the beautiful ducted heating. The bed in the main room is so comfy and something we will remember. Best place for a good sleep. The place even had a heater just incase, a blow up single bed and the kitchen was well equipped with utensils. These hosts have thought of everything. Loved loved loved this place and would stay again. Full length mirror somewhere would be ideal. The garage roller door was a little tricky and may need to be fixed.
- Nicola (8/5): Very good - Property is lovely, well furnished with heating. Main bedroom lock is not working and I was locked in the bedroom several times. Luckily I had family staying who could open the door from the outside
- Tien (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chanae (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doris (9/5): Great property for a very reasonable price - Great location, spacious house, well equipped. Immediate response when asking a question The WiFi didn’t really work or it did for a short time and then it didn’t. There seems to be a problem with the modem . Anyway, not a problem for us from Australia we used 4 G. Also there was a strange smell in the bedrooms when we put the heating on. Please test it and you will know what I mean. So, we didn’t use the central heating system.
- Lo (10/5): Cute and cozy, clean, & great location we will definitely be back! - Very convenient location

- Graeme (9/5): A very pleasant stay - Comfortable

- Emerson (9/5): Really good. Exactly as expected. -
- Christine (9/5): Easy walk to town, super comfortable and well furnished - Comfortable, great beds, good heating, hot water pressure, 15 min walk to town, staff very responsive Wi-Fi slow and intermittent, garage detached from house and couldn’t lock back sliding door from outside so needed to exit from front door to lock up
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen Easy to access and easy walk to city centre
- Catherine (10/5): A beautiful place to stay in Orange with a homely feel. Much larger than depicted in photos which was a bonus - Styling
- Mcgilvray (9/5): Superb - Great layout, spacious and comfortable.
Would Highly recommend .
Very well setup . Plenty of room to relax .
- Wayne (10/5): Old meets Modern. - The property is bigger than expected, location is convenient, your car also enjoys a warm stay in a remote activated garage. Heating worked perfectly, shower size is very generous, overall value for money. One downside I did notice, there is no exhaust fan in the built in laundry so if you need to dry something urgently I recommend leaving the sliding door open for ventilation, it will get slightly steamy inside. There is a clothes line provided outside for non urgent washing.
- Nicole (9/5): a great place for a short stay in Orange - the spaciousness , able to walk to town and restaurants
- Sam (8/5): Lovely decorated, nice and quiet area. - Very easy. Would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge. Little bit of a walk to the Main Street.
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (9/5): Comfortable , attractive accommodation - loved the décor and the comfort of The Old Corner Store. We were two older couples in Orange for a catch up and some sightseeing. The accommodation was perfect for preparing simple meals and spending time together.
