We stayed during cold weather (Feb), and the house warmed quickly with the ducted heating on. I'd imagine winter would be a different story.

The owner was responsive to any communications and very helpful with suggestions of local dining and sightseeing. A second bathroom/ powder room would have been an added bonus to this wonderful accommodation.

But the stay at The Orange Fox proved us wrong. The place is very close to the Orange city. The shops, restaurants, cafés are all easily accessible. Close to public transport and has parking space. The beds were very comfy and very clean. Hats off to Roger&Kay!!! Highly recommend the property to anyone. Nothing that we can think of. Everything was so well kept.

No real effort made to offer us an earlier checkin. Only on street parking available and check in time of 3.00pm coincides with local school pick up time making street parking a premium. Outside furniture not clean - lots of bird poo!

Its location was an easy drive or if you were up for a walk to the main eateries in Orange. Very hard to fault the Orange Fox. The only downside was the single bathroom and toilet. It would have been nice to have had second toilet for emergencies if the main bathroom was in use.
