Deborah (7/5): Good - The house is great, so spacious, lots of light, clean, very well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds and good linen. A lovely location and garden. Almost everything was great. We had a really wonderful time staying there. The split system struggled to keep the main room warm because of the large open space and high ceilings. It was lovely and cosy with the fire on but there was not enough firewood left for a three night stay. Some of the shade screen blinds in the main room seemed broken and permanently lowered. I contacted the property manager twice over the weekend and received no reply at all.
Rebecca (7/5): Basic accomodation in a lovely setting. - The house was surrounded by a lovely garden. Very peaceful location. There were 5 of us staying in Daylesford for the Great Aussie Hike. Unfortunately there was only enough hot water for 2 of us to have showers at any one time. There was also not enough hot water to fill the spa, which we were looking forward to after walking 50 km each day. I was also looking forward to starting the fire, but couldn't get it going as only given 4 small pieces of kindling and then much larger logs. There were no firelighters and the gas lighter was empty.
