• Konju (9/5): Great value, plenty of space, good service, and excellent kitchen and laundry amenities - This location is exceptional for value - four bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, and kitchen with stove (two gas stovetops), working rice cooker, pots, bowls and plates, microwave, and small dining table. This is a great place for those who cook when traveling, as the supermarket is essentially downstairs, just outside of the gates of the housing complex. The unit includes two washing machines and a place to hang clothes to dry. It has both a traditional squat toilet and a western-style toilet. It is on the sixth floor of an elevator building with two elevators. The view is onto the surrounding buildings of the area and the courtyard. As this is in Kunming, Yunnan, it is usually at a comfortable temperature, at least when I stayed throughout the month of August (which was also rainy at times). I was able to arrange transportation to and from Kunming airport with the host of the property, who oriented me at the place and gave me the key fob for the building. All in all, a seamless experience. For those exploring Yunnan and Sichuan Provinces, this is not the most central location for accessing, for example, Kunming Nan Train Station (for bullet trains to cities around SW China), which is at least 45 minutes away by taxi, better part of an hour, especially given traffic (and at least 90 minutes away by metro). This location, while not on the periphery of the city, is not necessarily centrally located within Kunming. It is decently located with regard to a metro station, about a 10-20 minute walk from the property. I would also say that there are some aspects of the hygiene of the location that were not so great, like an odor in one of the bedrooms from I assume a previous guest who slept there, as well as some garbage in the vase in the living room. The WiFi speed is adequate, but not the fastest or best out there.
• Shafiq (8/5): Pleasant stay - The location is convenient. Close to halal eatery. Walkable distance to train station (about 900m). Available shopping market on the ground floor of the building. Close to city centre Dangerous balcony with no lock especially for Children. Clogged sink and bathroom floor water drain. Also super slippery bathroom, very dangerous for elderly. Host should have put non-slippery mat.

• Ikram (10/5): Nice Stay - Suitable for large family. It has 4 rooms. Each room can fit 2 people comfortably. The host (Mr. Leoperd) is very helpful and nice. He made sure everything is alright. Very punctual and respectful. Even though we booked a trip at last minute. He arranged for us a private car trip, to the city centre and Shilin Stone Forest. Since we cannot speak Chinese. The host is well versed in using the translation application. Communication is fairly easy even though we speak different language. One of the attached bathroom water heater does not function well. Some time it’s hot, some time it’s not.
• Ming (9/5): Superb - All good, easy to access to shop, traffic, good location. Comfortable living space in the house. Drain water in shower seems bloked, staying water when showing.
• Pisan (3/5): Not recommend - Big room No air conditioner, no towels, many mosquitoes.

• Esther (4/5): Disappointing: poorly maintained. - The apartment was close to the main gate and we did not need to walk a long way to get to the apartment. There is a new supermarket outside the apartment which is very convenient to get some things. The toilets were surprisingly clean with clean bedsheets for each bed. The information on the website only gave the location without giving the block and the unit. We asked the security guard and he could not give us helpful information except that we were in the right location. Without a local phone number, it was a challenge to contact the host. The host gave us the instructions via the phone to the block and unit and passwords to get into the block and house. It was useless as the system was faulty, a delivery person said we had to wait for residents to get out then the gate could be opened from inside. This was stressful as we had luggages and in the rush to get out after putting down our luggages. After getting into the apartment, we were disappointed by the state of the apartment. The house has a stale order. The sofa in the living room does not look clean. The windows were very dusty, the kitchen were extremely filthy with unwashed dishes in the sink. The kitchen sink was not cleaned too and the kitchen top were stained with sauces. The fridge was full of drinks though. Although there was a water dispenser, with the bottle was 1/3 filled. We decided to buy our own drinking water. We did not bother to step into the kitchen throughout our stay. One of the toilets, near the living room, the towels looked really used and old.
• Jingjing (10/5): Exceptional - The flat is very big and good location to the tube station, host is very friendly and helped us to find a suitable taxi when we left. Flat is clean, we were very happy to stay there.
