• Rachel (10/5): Quiet and wholesome - Such a beautiful little cottage, clean and spacious. The views from the windows in the lounge area were absolutely stunning, we sat watching the birds for what felt like hours. A very quiet place but not far from everything. I would definitely stay again. Exceeded expectations, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Our host Michael and Kim were very welcoming and loaned us some rain jackets for the concert we attended. Would highly recommend and will be back!

They told us of the many walks in the area and there were lots of brochures of things to do in the area. A great experience and we would definitely stay again if we're in the area.
• ANGELA (10/5): Cosy and comfortable cottage, fantastic stay. - We loved everything about this property, it was spotlessly clean with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Kim and Michael met us as we drove up the driveway and were so kind and friendly. The cottage was situated off the highway 15 mins outside of Mildura so it was easy to get into town while staying in the country. Sitting on the verandah with the view of the billabong in a beautiful garden full of birds and flowers was good for our souls. A wonderful stay at Glenbar Cottage.

They blessed me with quite a few food items to get me started, which I was grateful for. Also the views from the cottage were amazing. I enjoyed the bird show every morning from the porch with breakfast and coffee in hand.

Best view of the sunrise and sunset. Lovely quiet spot. Very comfortable. Short drive into Mildura. 1st world problem of Netflix being a bit slow but it didn't bother us as we were so tired from swimming in the river so went to bed instead. Nothing not to like about this place. I would stay again!

They include the little extras to make it feel like home 🏠. No water 💦 in the billabong, had been drained by council. It’s not the hosts fault at all . Just disappointing there was no water views like advertised.

Comfortable bed. Great heating with our second night getting down to below zero. Quiet location but easy to find. Great communication with the host. Good WiFi. Spotlessly clean. We couldn't fault anything!

The cottage was in an excellent location with views across a billabong to Merbein Common. Cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and kind people. Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

• Taylor (10/5): We couldn't have found a better place to stay. - The cottage is pretty and very comfortable. It overlooks a billabong and the views from the living areas and garden are lovely. The hosts left tea bags, coffee pods (and coffee maker), bread, milk, eggs, cereal, fruit and various spreads in the cottage for our breakfasts. Our main interest is birding and the hosts, who turned out to be birders too, were very helpful in suggesting good local birding spots. The hosts live right next door. In fact, their house and the cottage share a garden. Some people might find this a bit too much closeness though we were fine with it.

Really friendly and lovely hosts. We loved our walks by the billabongs, to the river and watching all the birdlife. A very special place. Fresh mandarins straight from the tree were a bonus. Just wish we'd stayed longer! ---
