- Agnieszka (10/5): Urallas best accomodation secret - The property is beautiful and looked better in real life than the photos. Very spacious and well decorated Nothing
- Sally (10/5): Wonderful stay - Wonderful stay in a beautiful house! Close to town. Excellent!
- Kim (10/5): - Another great stay thanks again.
- Jerry (10/5): Excellant - NA Nothing
- Kevin (10/5): - Attention to detail.
- Kim (10/5): - Beautifully house we had a great stay.
Would definitely recommend to stay.
- Matthew (9/5): We very much enjoyed our stay, definitely coming back. - Ticked all our boxes for a country winter getaway N/A

- Misha (10/5): A beautiful place - We loved our stay at the King's Cottage Uralla - both the house and the garden were exceptionally beautiful and the host, Rob, very friendly and helpful.

- Mellon (10/5): Just beautiful and I will definitely be back. - From the second you pull up into the driveway, you are in awe. The stunning gardens surround the immaculate cottage, the girls had fun wandering though the garden.
The cottage itself is beautifully curated, every corner you look there is artwork and curiosities.
Everything you need for a luxurious stay including robes and top of the line linen/bedding.
The beds were comfy, the bathroom is gorgeous. Kitchen stocked with essentials.
We loved every part of our stay. The finer details were appreciated also, the soft classical playing on the stereos when we entered, the heating was on waiting for us, the option for the sofa bed to be made up however we didn't end up using.
It's only a short 6 minute walk around the block to The Bolt Inn where we had a beautiful dinner.
I will definitely be staying again. Kings Cottage has my heart.
Also worth checking out The Bower, which is the smaller seperate dwelling attached to the garage.

- McFarlane (8/5): Beautiful property, Great location, but sleep ruined by hard beds - Loved the property itself and the location. It was very tastefully decorated and lovely and warm with the ducted air-con. Unfortunately the beds were way too hard, especially for someone like me with a bad back/sciatica. It was extremely difficult to get a good nights sleep as a result and I was in a lot of pain because of the beds. I would recommend to any host to invest in good quality mattresses with lots of padding/softness. People who prefer firm beds can still sleep in them, but people who don't or who have back issues can't sleep in a hard bed.
- Robert (10/5): Perfect - The house the gardens and location in the town were perfect. We were able to walk easily to the town. The location was quiet. It was a lovely three nights of relaxation. I will recommend Kings Cottage to family and friends Nothing really, we did run out of instant coffee, a very small thing
- Kaye (10/5): Very comfortable and relaxing visit. -
- Moo (10/5): - The whole experience was memorable.
The snow made it like a winter wonderland.
The home is luxurious yet fairly priced.
Rob was very friendly and accommodating.
I strongly recommend this superb cottage.
- Nik (10/5): Awesome self catered accommodation. Really represents the cosy, country vibe of Uralla. - Beautiful house, very comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay again.
- John (10/5): Luxury period accommodation with attentive host - King's Cottage is a delightfully and thoughtfully renovated cottage, built in 1886 in Uralla. It is within easy walking distance of the main street, but sufficiently removed to hear virtually no traffic noise.
The property was spotless when we stayed, with high quality bed linen and towels, comfortable beds a luxury bathroom, and many thoughtful touches, to make our stay enjoyable - a range of condiments and even a couple of pizzas in the freezer for late arrivals, were examples of this. The host, Rod, was helpful and friendly. The garden is attractive and welcoming.
Uralla has a variety of eating places, a small but reasonably stocked supermarket, and facilities such as a pharmacy, several bakeries and multiple antique outlets. It values and exhibits its heritage since the 1800s. The spacious sunroom is a lovely sun-trap, but is not air-conditioned like the rest of the cottage, so it would be necessary to light the wood-heater there on cold nights if the room was required (it has the dining table.) We didn't need to use it at night when we stayed (in mid May) so didn't light the fire. (Wood was provided.)
- Geoff (10/5): Immaculate Accommodation In a Lovely Town - King's Cottage is an immaculate property. It is a tastefully restored historic home with modern facilities inside and a lovely garden outside. The cottage is warm and comfortable with all you would need to self-cater. I can't recommend this property highly enough.

House is well equipped and has a lock up garage. Quiet area and owner Rob is a responsive host. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

- Ian (10/5): We found Kings Cottage exceptional and enjoyed the closeness to Uralla’s very well refurbished shops - Rob is a fantastic host, everything was beautifully presented and checking in was easy. It’s extremely comfortable and functional accommodation. Great history of the house. A second toilet would make it even better, but in reality it was not a problem.

The gardens were beautiful and the choice of seating places outside were fantastic (under the wrap around verandah, on the deck or in the garden)

- Paul (10/5): I cannot think of a better place to stay anywhere in the Armidale/Uralla area. - Kings Cottage is a beautifully restored heritage cottage in Uralla, set in a lovely garden. Everything which a visitor may require has been thoughtfully provided, for a stay of a few days or for a longer stay.
The cottage is warm and comfortable as the weather is getting colder, and Rob is a wonderful host. I cannot think of a single thing which we didn't like.
- Karen (10/5): Absolutely Brillaint! - The Cottage was very well stocked, had been beautifully restored with modern conveniences and the host had made the key pick up simple with easy to follow instructions. Plenty of towels and bathroom supplies, even a Robe to use for the bathroom, they have thought of everything! Perfectly clean. There was nothing that wasn't over and above expectations, they have done a wonderful job in restoring and preparing the cottage to be rented out!
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - Don't bother going to Armidale, come STRAIGHT HERE. It is the most beautiful, comfortable, cosy stay I can remember. Luxury can intimidate me, but this was so welcoming, and the atmosphere was so warm we just fell in love with it. From the amazing bathroom to the excessively comfy beds, the home made baking to the soothing garden view, the whole experience was glorious. I would have gladly ditched our obligations in Armidale and stayed in with a cheeseboard and a bottle of wine. The owners have put so much thought into this experience, right down to the tactile crockery and cutlery. Everything feels designed to calm your soul and restore you. And, it's extremely good value for money. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. Nothing to dislike at all.

Communications with the owner were good. The decor and furnishings were of a high quality, and would have been great for a winter retreat. The kitchen was a bit small and not very well laid out, but was well supplied with condiments and little treats.

We stayed here as accommodation in Uralla for our wedding and it was an amazing property to get ready at. Photos don't do it justice! The whole place has been lovingly done up and was so cozy with central heating and super thick walls keeping the house nice and cozy during the cooler nights. We had no dramas with anything, everything was in working order. If I had to have a favourite room in this place it would have to be the bathroom. It is amazing! To top it all off Rob, the owner, was so lovely. Would and will definitely recommend this place to anyone I talk to! Wish I had taken some more photos to show how great it was! Nothing it was the closest to perfect a place could get!

We were so exhausted when we finally arrived and too tired to go out so we' were thrilled to find pizzas and muffins in the freezer. Fresh milk a bonus too!
Really was a lovely touch. This beautiful home felt like 'home away from home ' but more luxurious. Nothing was missing that you would need and everything kept in immaculate condition. You could tell every little detail was thoroughly thought out to perfection. The bath was complete with bath salts which really helped me relax and sleep well.
The gardens were spactular and it was a bonus seeing the King Parrots feast on the plum trees.
