Guest Reviews
- Blair (9/5): Nice place in a good location - All set out very thoughtful, good quality amenities', fluffy towels. Other details like there were about 10 coffee pods, so you could have a couple each day if you wanted, real milk not UHT, There were 24 hour works being done in he street, that meant a lot of trucks driving past, owners couldn't have helped that but I suspect there would be some road noise normally, as the rooms are at the front of the house.
- Jane (10/5): Clean, comfortable and accessible. - We loved this house in Benalla. Everything was beautifully considered. As soon as we walked in it exuded a lovely historic but updated feel. The location is great too, walking distance to the main street and the Northern for dinner. Nothing.

Very clean.
Good facilities and lovely backyard We struggled with the TV but as we were out and about, it was not a big issue.

- Liz (9/5): We enjoyed Benalla and found our stay at Kilparney house very comfy and convenient - Lovely quaint cottage with very pretty gardens and all amenities one could expect. The location was great - a few steps away from the Northo a lovely country pub and restaurant with a great local vibe, and a few minutes walk to the town centre. The cottage was really clean and really nicely furnished. Beds were comfy and hosts were helpful and very responsive. Nothing really but a few more consumables like conditioner and moisturiser, and a few more pantry staples would have been nice, but this is really trivial and the supermarket was just down the road.
- Rusty (10/5): Amazing country stay - Everything about this property is amazing so cozy n homly Driveway is real tight and only 1 tv in house apart from that was great

- Kylie (10/5): What a turn of fortune in an emergency! - We loved everything about this stay, what a find! We were broken down between Benalla and Euroa and the company said we should find something in Benalla. It was 7:00pm on a Thursday night and Melanie was a lifesaver, even turning on the coolers and putting milk and juice in the fridge. Thank you so much! It was hard to leave!!

- Melissa (10/5): Thanks for a lovely stay, home was cozy and comfortable. - Lock box conveniently locked, plus an extra key inside.
Hosts put a fire on for us, so the house was nice and toasty warm when we arrived.
Lots of wood conveniently left for us. Very very minor - the milk frother doesn’t work well, overflows even when under max fill mark.
- Paul (10/5): This house has everything you would ever need for a stay! - Very clean and well presented cottage.
Value for money.
Easy to find. Has everything you will ever need.

- Lara (10/5): We had a wonderful time staying at Kilparney House. - This is a beautiful old house that has been wonderfully restored and is located right in the heart of Benalla. The host (Melanie) was really helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
- Gypsy (9/5): Twice we've stayed and will continue to revisit, love it, so quiet and peaceful. - North east Victoria is a lovely area, this property is in the middle of places to visit.
- Denise (9/5): Wonderful, no hesitation at all in recommending to family and friends. Great communication with Host. - Beautiful renovation with everything we needed. Lovely patio garden out the back which we took advantage of. Central to town with car or walking. Quite difficult with side drive hedge for opening the door and trying to get in and out of vehicle. No problem with parking out the front though.
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Old world charm, and a garden oasis - Walking into this house on a hot summers day, the high ceilings created beautiful cool surroundings. The smell of Moss Street fragrance filled the air. Beds on either side of the hallway beautifully adorned. From the front door you can see the garden outside which I was instantly gravitated to, it’s and oasis of beauty and serenity. The kitchen was filled with everything you could possibly need and a fireplace. Sumptuous bathroom and quality towels. I will definitely be back to stay at this property.
- Dorothy (9/5): Would highly recommend a family stay here - Location was central to shops and attractions Living area air conditioning did not heat but lounge area was cosy and warm

- Elise (10/5): Old world charm - the perfect country escape - This was the most gorgeous place to stay stepping back into Australia’s history. We loved the feel of the home and the way it has been decorated adds so much charm. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the gardens were a beautiful place to be away from everything. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived at the front of the property.
- Benny (9/5): Wifi and some streaming show will be an added bonus -
- Geoff (9/5): Convenient, clean and comfortable with plenty of room and facilities. - Beautiful old house that was presented in immaculate condition. Lovely gardens that were great to sit in at the end of a days golf.
The house is very spacious and comfortable and only a short drive to the Benalla Golf Club.
Shower was great, plenty of hot water. Little noisy early in the morning when the trucks were on the highway. Minor distraction from a great property.
- Janet (9/5): Wonderful stay. Would highly recommend. Thankyou Kilparney House. - Great house in a wonderful location. Had everything you could possibly need. So spacious. So clean. Ideal for 2 friends travelling together. The driveway was very narrow. Not really suitable for a large vehicle. But there was street parking.
- Rochelle (8/5): Lovely stay, had everything we needed and great location. - Gorgeous house with old world charm. Perfect location - 5 minutes to shops, lake and pub. Warm and comfortable. We loved the sourdough bread provided, and who doesn’t like the gift of wine. Lovely garden with morning sun. House may need a deep clean - top of microwave / fridge / laundry trough / power points / surfaces / blinds / backyard paving, although all important areas were very clean.
- Pamela (8/5): Very good -
- Renee (8/5): Great for our requirements. Will be back again! - Love the welcome bottle of wine and loaf of bread! The house did get quite cold, and unfortunately for me, leaving a split system heater on over night affects my sinuses
- Larrisa (10/5): Great little house - Backyard Garden was beautiful No Wi-Fi
- Maree (10/5): Beautiful place to stay - We just love this gorgeous house. It's in a great location with an easy walk to the main street, art gallery, botanic gardens and lovely walks. It is a very comfortable place to stay and had everything we needed. The garden is gorgeous and there are multiple private spots inside and outside the house to relax. It was also extremely quiet, day and night.

It’s very clean, feels like home the moment you step into the front garden, and has a gorgeous back garden, where you are drawn to spend all your time. The house is centrally located so shops, the Benalla art gallery, and the lake are all within easy walking distance. na
