Guest Reviews
- Bart (7/5): Great location, good appartment that with proper maitenance could be great - The location is central in London, especially great for visiting theaters in the evening. We could walk to a lot of the places we visited. Apartment was more spacious than I expected upfront and we had a good stay with our family. All basic things we needed were present in the kitchen and apartment. Hot water failed multiple times and we kept resetting the boiler instead that a reliable fix was done after reporting the first two failures. The overall maintenance should be better at this price point, these are small things but they sum up. eg: very dirty windows, leaking water tap, broken chair, not working vacuum cleaner and some shutters half working.
Lastly the windows of the bedrooms are not towards the street (which is as you can expect in such a location lively) but unfortunately there were very noisy air conditioners outlets at the bedroom windows. That prevented us from keeping windows open at night for fresh air.
- Adela (10/5): Alojamiento inmejorable - La ubicacion, la comodidad de la casa. Era todo perfecto Nada
- Hubertus van (8/5): -
- Sera Ayse (8/5): - The location is good — close to the city centre yet quiet. The house is fairly well decorated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom needs renovation. The toilet is leaking from underneath, which is quite unpleasant. The water system needs to be improved overall. In addition, the water heater keeps shutting off on its own and should also be checked and serviced.
- Muriel (10/5): Je recommande ce logement - L’appartement est très bien situé.
La Literie est de qualité.
L’appartement est décoré avec soin. Il manque de vaisselle
- Jane (9/5): - Fantastic location. Comfortable. Easy communication with helpful staff. Nice little welcome basket. PIN code access much easier than keys. Few more plates & cups would be good.
Need toilet roll holder.
- Antonio (8/5): Très bien, sauf le bruit de la tuyauterie - Emplacement
Confort lit La tuyauterie baignoire fessait du bruit, même sans que l’eau coule
- HUI-CHUAN (10/5): -
- Helle (10/5): Rigtig god beliggenhed - Rigtig god beliggenhed, pæn og ren lejlighed. Gode senge. Kan stærkt anbefales Intet at bemærke
- Vincent (8/5): - Position. Brilliant. Space was good too Always really hot but no heating on. Had to open the windows and then a bit noisy
- eva (10/5): - Sehr sauber und nett.Gute und optimale Lage. Bei Problemen(kaltes Wasser) schnelle Hilfe und freundliche Betreuung
- Laura (9/5): - Flat was clean and in an excellent location. We managed to walk to all the main attractions we went to. Rooms are all large, kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable. Fans were provided as the weather was very hot. Communication from the managers of the flat was very good. If I was being picky - it would have been nice to have a larger mirror or full length mirror in the second bedroom - the mirror in the second bedroom was about the size of your head (there is plenty of space for a much larger mirror). Also hooks to hang wet towels on would be good to have.
- Ellen (10/5): Perfect stay in a central location - Location
- Philomena (7/5): -
- Yixin (8/5): Adequate for a late find. Convenient location. - The location was great and bathroom was clean and new. Lacked essential equipment, such as wardrobe and storage and hooks for drying towels. There was a washing machine but no dryer nor clothes rack to hang dry. Shower was dripping. The walls were dirty. Stained nightstands. Early check out at 10 am and late check in at 3 pm, but it’s not like they took that time to clean the place perfectly. The building itself wasn’t all that clean.
- Nickauuk (9/5): Comfortable and convenient apartment in central London - Mostly everything. Spacious and comfortable apartment in the centre of London, a short walk to the British Museum and an easy 20 min walk (with luggage) from Euston station. This was cheaper than hiring 2 separate rooms at Premier Inn and way more comfortable and loads more space with all the advantages of having our own kitchen etc.
The beds were memory foam mattresses which were incredibly comfortable, firm while also providing enough softness to get a decent sleep. Lovely soft pillows as well.
The bathroom was clean and included some complimentary toiletries which was nice as we forgot to bring ours. The towels provided were perfectly adequate and included a hand towel as well.
Fans were included to help circulate fresh air from the windows which were easily opened. The stairs. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor up some quite steep stairs which can be a bit of a hassle if you have heavy luggage. Would have been nice to be able to draw the blinds.
The main living space was very noisy with sirens going past at all hours, but you have to remember, the location is central London so noise like that is to be expected but there was very little to no noise in the bedrooms.
- Ariane (5/5): Disappointed with the lack of support when I got locked out of the flat because se maid inserted the wrong code. - Tha flat is comfortable and nice. The key code to get did not work and no emergency phone answered us. I was left outside with my family for the first night and had to arrange for a hotel. I got a reimbursement which is the minimum they could have done, but they were not empathetic with the whole situation. It was Xmas eve, they didn’t even offered to pay taxi and other expenses we had. I have already booked another stay, and could not cancel, but never staying again. It’s a shame because de flat is nice, but would take the chance to have a problem and be left helpless again.
- Matteo (8/5): Very good -
- Phillip (9/5): Superb -
- Lyndell (8/5): Great location. A clean and spacious apartment. Would stay again. - Definitely the location - it was great. And the apartment was quite spacious.
- Ailing (9/5): Awesome location - The location was fantastic. Walking distances to most tourists sites like Covent Garden and Leicester Square. Felt safe in this neighbourhood. Short walk to Underground. Climbing up the narrow stairways with our luggage. Would be nice if the water pressure for the shower was stronger and more hanging racks in the toilet.
- Giulia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (6/5): Overall the space and the location made up for the other aspects. - The location, the space in the home, the decor The tub did not drain. We did not have hot water for the first couple of days. The hair dryer did not work. The WiFi kept knocking us off.
- Azra (10/5): It was the perfect place for resting while exploring a beautiful city - Gorgeous decor in a perfect spot! Nothing!
- Paula (10/5): clean, well appointed apartment right by the British Museum - super easy check-in using door codes. beds were comfortable, plenty of space for sitting & eating in the main room. thankful there was a washer for clothes. the location was perfect for us. i wish instructions has been provided for the stove & the washing machine. we had to google how to use them. very different than what we have in America. also the drains (tub & sink) in the bathroom could use cleaning. both backed up very easily- but not a dealbreaker!
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- Eric (9/5): Wonderful flat in London - Highly recommend this apartment in London. Worked very well for 4 adults (2 per room) for 6 nights. Large living room and well appointed kitchen. Good size bathroom with bath and shower. Very clean and felt safe and secure. Management very responsive and friendly. Easy to find and door access codes made it simple to enter.
Excellent location near 2 tube stations and the British Museum. Direct tube from Heathrow (Elizabeth or Piccadilly lines) without need to change trains. Short walking distance to most things. Safe and fun neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and pubs as well as a large grocery store near by. Nothing really. We were very satisfied.
- Angeliki (10/5): Excellent stay - Great location, clean and spacious apartment!
- J. (9/5): Perfect location, nice apartment. Lots of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. -
- Nicole (9/5): Great location close to Covent garden. Union Pizza around the corner was a winner for a key lagged family with teenagers - The location was exceptional Could have used a few more cups/glass ware, larger bowls m the hairdryer attachment was broken.
- Ludovica (9/5): Superb - Nice, cozy apartament, well equipped, clean, perfect position, easy check in and out.
- Kemin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (10/5): We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff was wonderful and attentive and the flat was very nice and very close to C - The flat was very nice, clean, and spacious and in a great location close to Covent Gardens! No complaints about the property.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Kai (9/5): Great place for a weekend in London - Perfect location. Close to subway stations. central in town. As the bed rooms are in the back of the app. it is quiet and good to sleep in the night.. The app. itself is very nice furnished. Having breakfast there and eating small cookings is fine. Very good communication of the owner!
- Allison (8/5): Very good -
- Stanley (5/5): Passable - Location and size No hot water on our 1st day. When we contacted them, they said they would send someone the next day.
Shower is not comfortable. The rain shower wasn’t working. Tap was rusty.
- Celia (10/5): Exceptional - I loved everthing. The neighborhoold is great, It is near of museums, underground, cafe, supermarkets. The flat is great, It is exactly as in the photo, it is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. no complaints
- Victoria (8/5): Loved the location, comfortable for 3 people - Beds were comfortable! the flat is located in an excellent location. Restaurants galore! Not enough basics (coffee, towels, tp) for 3 people but there are markets nearby so it was not an issue for us
- Wei (10/5): This property would undisputedly be my first choice in London. - As a second time guest of the property, having stayed in a different unit of the same property before, there are multiple positive points:
1. LOCATION: For history, museums, universities, theatre, restaurants, pubs, general shopping, etc, the location is near-impossible to beat.
2. SIZE: Definitely value for money with plenty of space for everyone without tripping over each other.
3. FACILITIES: Everything is well-appointed and works as intended – from heating, to washing machine, to microwave, etc.
4. CLEANLINESS: Spotlessly tidy property and professional housekeeper who was very helpful and friendly.
Yes there is the issue of the stairs but once one is accustomed to the nature of buildings in this heritage area, the stairs are easily offset by all the positive points of this property. Still, advisable to travel with lighter luggage (i.e. under 20kg per piece). Otherwise, nothing a combination of strong upper/lower torso and cardio-vascular strength can't resolve.
SECRET: Hidden in plain sight is Yang’s Palace on the ground floor – an authentic Chinese restaurant serving predominantly Cantonese food and Dim Sum till 10.30pm daily that does takeaways with very friendly service staff.
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (9/5): clean and bright flat in an excellent location while still being quiet. - Very central location, comfortable beds, tight (no leaky windows or creaky floorboards) space, bedrooms off the street so no noise at night, clean. the towels were flimsy and some of the furniture (cocktail table in living room, bedside lighting) was more cute than usable.
- Ran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vickie (8/5): Very good - Fantastic central location The kitchen could do with better equipment, teapot, larger mugs, cafetière
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): Superb -
