Guest Reviews
- Muolo (10/5): Very comfortable, very cosy - We loved the location ,very easy to get to the main town ,a little coffee shop down the road was very convenient, the house was amazing
- Liza (9/5): It was stinking hot in Mudgee so we took refuge in the lovely house and its air conditioning! - Spacious and clean, great facilities and they even left us some chips and freshly cut flowers! Some dead flies inside
- Christopher (10/5): Enjoyable - Loved it Nothing
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (10/5): Lovely rooms and friendly staff - Very friendly reception. Clean well appointed room. Little bit of a hike to centre of town but still away from the hussle and bustle
- Nane (8/5): Very pleasant and comfortable. - Told friends about the property and the will be looking to book fo their trip soon if still available. Nothing at all.
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful house, and an amazing host. She guided us on how to find the key. We also forgot our airpods in one of the bedrooms and had to return; the host arrived within 10 minutes as well. Overall, the most positive emotions from both the house and the hosts
- Ashley (6/5): Nice house. - Comfortable house, well equipped kitchen and stocked pantry. Dog friendly. No internet/wifi/Netflix, no coffee machine, no fire pit or bbq. Location a long walk into town
- Scott (9/5): Great location and good facilities - Location is excellent near all services.
- Ben (8/5): Would stay again - Great value and very clean and well presented. No Wi-Fi
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (9/5): Superb - Parking was easy there was wood for the fireplace the house was spotless bathrooms were large and clean To many blankets on the bed probably would have been easier if you can just add what you want from a stash left in the cupboard
- Michael (10/5): very helpful and friendly as we left things behind and they called us to collect -
- Melissa (8/5): Very welcoming - Comfort of beds
- Paul (9/5): Has a wonderful "feel" about it. An excellent mix of period and modern - Lighting.
- Akanksha (6/5): Pleasant - The property was clean and spaces were usable. All the teas and coffees in the kitchen had expired. Pictured of all expired items attached.
- Kelli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (10/5): Overall, a lovely place, would stay again. - Location good, very clean and quirky, books, games etc, very comfy bed and pillows, excellent layout for staying with a larger group, family or friends. A bit pricey for us but certainly below Mudgee average accom pricing. It was nice not to have wifi, but we actually needed it for a business zoom call, which was a little frustrating, but we managed and enjoyed the peace after getting over it. Didn’t much like someone turning up because it had been double booked and they were not happy that we were there already. Not sure what happened to them, but they weren’t very happy. I’m sure it was just a mistake between the booking agency’s.
- Paul (8/5): Other the lounge problem we enjoyed our stay as the house was otherwise very comfortable - Very neat older property good beds and the house was presented well The only thing was the lounge and chairs in the lounge room were a bit low and Not comfortable to sit in whilst watching TV ended up with a sore back from this
As I am over 72 a more comfortable lounge would have been great
- Jason (10/5): Great place to stay. Easy access and totally above expectations. - The fact that they had thought of just about everything we needed. Not much. Maybe WIFI, but that’s not critical.
- Ross (10/5): Property was perfect for our family of 7 - Size, number of bedrooms, comfortable beds, location, amenities, great host
- Bruce (9/5): Great property. Would recommend to others. - Roomy and well-appointed. Because it was on a very busy main road reversing the car onto the road was difficult.
- Rebecca (8/5): Cozy, comfortable & clean and the pantry items are real treat! - Beautiful linen & beautifully made comfortable beds, lovely towels, pillows, candles, lamps, furniture, homewares & couches all styled so appealingly which made it so comfortable. Real, old world charm. We played cards on the dining room table, which gets both morning sun and afternoon sun. Very clean. There is some traffic noise, mainly week days, which affected the light sleeper in my family. A cupboard & drawer in the kitchen had to be carefully used, they were precariously balancing & needed repairs.
- Andrew (9/5): most enjoyable and comfortable - The supplies the host offered was fantastic. Very impressed with the pantry supplies
- Kelly (9/5): Great place to stay! Close to everything. - It was a comfortable home with a bath so I loved it. We were only 2 people so the price was really high for 2 but I understand that it’s meant for more. We needed to stay in town for my sons 30th and we live out of town. My husband and I hate staying in motels. The master bed was soooo comfortable but the traffic Saturday morning was really loud but that’s only because we’re used to being out on a property with no noise except animals 🤣I would definitely recommend this place My husband didn’t like that there wasn’t a tv in the bedroom but I don’t watch tv at night 😂so I didn’t care
- Nathan (9/5): Great value for money in Mudgee - The fireplace and cozy nature of the property. The owners were very accommodating Its about a 10-15 minute walk to the main street, which mighten seem like alot but after a few times it adds up
- Bart (10/5): Credit to the owners. You will not be disappointed. - The Pantry was Stocked with more than you would ever expect. Milk in the fridge,
- Perry (10/5): came up for a wedding and had a great place to stay, made it easy - great place to stay old world charm is excellent easy to get to and clean
- Supreet (9/5): Great Stay, love it ..... -
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Phil (10/5): Beautiful property, all facilities well presented - Excellent location close to the center of Mudgee
- Alison (10/5): We had a fabulous time, everything we needed was in the cottage and do Gandy to everything. Thank you! -
- Anonymous (8/5): really was great venue value was a cosy comfortable home - cosy could believe that it included so much 😋 traffic was a tad loud
- Serena (9/5): Superb - The location was great and the house was well-equipped with everything you needed. The host provided linen and sheets which was a plus. The check-in and check-out process was easy. I would highly recommend this property. For some of us, the beds were too high and too soft but that is not the fault of the property just personal preference.
- Jinani (9/5): Superb - Family Style and close to shops Wish it had a coffee plunger
