• Karina (10/5): Cute little cottage, perfect location - Cozy and comfortable. Location was great. Loved the little extras (Milk, biscuits, Shampoo and Conditioner. The Chocolates and Wine were a lovely bonus as well. There were Christmas lights on the building next door which were flickering all night. So, it was a little annoying.. My daughter struggled to sleep because of it.

The house is located on a very busy street in Mudgee so on the busy nights (fri/sat) it was a little on the noisy side in the front bedroom.

• Judy (9/5): Highly recommend for staying in Mudgee - Great location and short walk to shops and pubs. Marg was a great help and answered my questions in a timely manner. Cottage was tastefully decorated and very warm for our winter stay. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom. Extra toilet out back and off street parking. Amazing kitchen and the warm welcome with wine and chocolates was a bonus. Highly recommend. I had read that some guests found the traffic noise a concern but Marg had left ear plugs for that reason. I did not find it a big issue and it was only in the morning that you could hear a few cars otherwise it was quiet overnight.

Awkward to negotiate back deck around water heater, towels were a bit hard and scratchy (this was very personal due to sensitive skin from a medical condition), sofas were not particularly comfortable. Several items weren't working properly (laundry light, main oven).

It is a central and very convenient location, an easy walk to anywhere in town. Thoughtful hosts provided lots of little luxuries (Pure Fiji products, board games, kitchen items like milk and bread). And a delightfully toasty heated bathroom floor!
• Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property in a prime location. Everything was clean and tidy. Little personal touches such as the thank you card made our group feel extremely welcome. Bedrooms close to the front of the road can be loud with the traffic, however ear plugs were supplied.

• Kathryn (10/5): Immaculate, beautiful, incredible location. Owners are a delight and we didn’t want to leave. - Cottage on Church is stunning. We travel quite a bit and I fell in love with this property. We cannot recommend highly enough. The location couldn’t be better. Charming, beautifully renovated but they have kept the gorgeous period details. They have thought of everything and put some beautiful touches around the home to make your stay even more memorable. The kitchen is stunning and has everything you could want and some. The beds are pure heaven and the shower is amazing. Beautiful products in the bathroom too. It was immaculately clean and communication with the lovely owner Marg was always easy, not a problem at all and she was so knowledgeable about the area and a delight. It’s so warm, cosy, inviting and we didn’t want to leave. We actually extended our stay. We brought our mother in law from England here too and she said it was a highlight of her trip. Looking forward to coming back again soon. Thank you for having us.
