• Anne (9/5): If you are looking for a beautiful holiday home on Kangaroo Island Emu Bay Bliss is the place to be! - From the first communication to the last communication was excellent, very quick responses and happy to help out with any information we required. The house was lovely, it had three beautiful bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs, 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms and beautifully designed and fitted with whatever we needed from soaps and shampoo to ladies products and band aids. We were even gifted beautiful products from the Island. The was an open area for families upstairs and downstairs. An open patio area upstairs with a BBQ and outdoor setting. The views from the balcony were amazing, you could sit outside and watch the sun come up or go down with a beautiful breeze. There were Koala's in the trees in front of the property and a wandering echidna that was not happy with me taking his pic, he came over and bunted my shoe and then wandered off to snuffle through an old stump for ants. The walk along the beach front was so relaxing. The neighbour was also very helpful and was happy to answer our questions with his knowledge of KI. If you are looking for a beautiful holiday home on Kangaroo Island this is the place to be, close to all central hubs and the beach, nothing is too far away. The stairs inside haha, sheesh why did we chose the top floor! But it made up for it with the view! There was no can opener but the neighbours helped us out. The hosts have now purchased a can opener for anyone wanting to stay that buys can without ring pulls (yep that was us :-) )

A quiet beautiful location, only issue is that you need to drive a long way for - A spacious house in a beautiful location, only issue is no shops and restaurants nearby. Overall well equipped house for family to stay, only downside is that two large bedrooms are in lower level. For elderly, not convenient to walk between ground and upper level. The view can be even better if not the power cables in front of the road.
• Rosemary (9/5): We would definitely stay here again. It was quiet and peaceful. - Location was great. Walked down to the beach and jetty. Saw some dolphins nearly every day but unfortunately the penguins eluded us. The views from the house were still good but it is set back from the beach. Had kangaroos at the back of the property every morning and night and saw a couple of koalas and even an echidna. A large electric frying pan for doing a big breakfast. We had 12 people staying and there were only two small fry pans to go on the stove. Not everyone likes cooking on a BBQ. The cups and glasses were up really high in the cupboards for us short people. Everything else was great.

Also a lot of great tips from our host on activities and places to see. Ceiling fan switch in downstairs bedroom did not work, property stated Airconditioning throughout however was only in living rooms.

There were great ocean views and a lot of information regarding the area we were staying in. The beach was within walking distance and we saw wildlife like koalas, kangaroos and pelicans everyday.

• Peter (8/5): a very enjoyable time - attention to detail, cleverly designed, especially the reading bed/sofa in the wall. loved the little giraffes and the decoration theme. well laid out kitchen and dining. decks are great with great views. perhaps an additional lounge, and some cover on the back deck for when it is raining and needing to use the BBQ. Perhaps an additional fridge, given the number of people that could stay. the toilet roll holders in partition walls always become loose, perhaps a different type, so as not to drop the roll.

The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating when we had to change our our booking at last minute due to unforeseen circumstances.
