• Genevieve (9/5): - Location was great: easy walking distance to downtown. The house was spacious and clean. Olga was welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. Would have like to have mosquito nets in the windows to be able to open them without bugs coming in.

• Isabel (10/5): - Casa bonita, cómoda, muy limpia. En el pueblo, pero sin ruidos. Buenas instalaciones y se puede aparcar en la casa.Buena calidad precio. La señora de la casa te recuerda todo el tiempo que apagues las luces y el aire acondicionado. . Es mejor que coloque carteles en la casa indicando que se ahorre energía.

• Arias (9/5): Baby - Sumamente céntrico. Confortable. Y la inducción de la Señora Olga especial. Los aires acondicionados, puede que estén sucios sus filtros, porque no enfriaban segun su temperatura. Pero para nosotros no fue problema, porque la noche fue fresca.

• Silvia (10/5): - Muy limpio y muy cuidado. Tiene una excelente decoración. Es un lugar silencioso. Tiene todo lo necesario, y adicional hasta dejan un poco de café, azúcar, sal, aceite, jabón, champú y más. Es muy céntrico, se llega a al parque central a los 200 metros.

• Kathryn (10/5): Excellent stay with a central location, with the nicest most helpful people you could ever wish for. - The house is so cute from in the inside out. Nicely furnished and comfortable. There is a washer (a bit different than the automated washers in the US) and no dryer. This seems typical of rentals in CR. We used a drying rack but be warned that due to the humidity in CR, it does take a long time for heavier clothes to dry. Not a problem as heavy clothing shouldn't be worn in most of CR anyhow! Olga was not available when we arrived but family next door helped us. One spoke English, and if he wasn't around, we'd use google translate. If we needed anything, a quick message to Olga on Whatsapp and it was done! Also, the house is located literally around the corner from a main street lined with open-air restaurants and the Rafner Hotel where many of the tours meet. From there, the side streets have cafes, gift shops, pharmacies, grocery/produce stores, tour offices and other restaurants. When the clouds aren't covering it, Arenal Volcano can be seen in full view as if it's steps away. Highly recommend! It seems petty but I do wish places would give actual wash cloths for your face, and not microfiber cloths when you request them. Both places we stayed did this. Maybe they thought I meant dish cloth? I side table in the bedroom would be nice, but I used a chair from the dining room, and all was good. Other adjustments here and there, but seriously no big deal for any of them. It would be no fun if everything was just like home!!!
• Mabel (9/5): Great location, it’s walking distance to downtown - I like the fact that is walking distance to downtown. Utensils in the kitchen, and it’s surrounded by other houses in the same property.
• Juan (9/5): Superb - The place is comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities you need for your stay. Payment is only accepted in cash, and the property is directly connected to the owner’s house with no clear separation. The owner frequently walked around the area and even entered the house without notice, which made the stay feel invasive and lacking in privacy.
• Sunandan (10/5): Excellent location - The location was excellent as it's walking distance from the the central area of La Fortuna. Great Restaurants, Sovenir shops and (of course) Grocery shops were nearby.
• Merlin (7/5): We asked for extra items for the house which we got immediately and the service was very friendly. - Central location, walking distance to town and to access trips, restaurants etc. The house is very close to other properties and a little noisy and close to two busy streets with traffic noise even at night. There was nowhere to sit outside.

• Lisa (8/5): Great little property, in fantastic location. - Great space & very good value for money. Olga was very responsive to any queries or questions we had. We had everything we needed but if I could make a few improvements I would suggest the lounge seating could have been a bit more comfortable & perhaps a toaster in the kitchen. No outside space but ideally you would be out all day anyway.
• Virginia (10/5): We loved our stay, the owner was next door and very accessible, it has a washer and dryer which was an asset with an air - The location is walking distance from the Main Street of La Fortuna! It was perfectly located without being in the busy streets of downtown! The house was great, nothing really missing but since there is only a hot plate with no oven, a toaster would be a great asset!

• Stewart (9/5): Superb - Location was good, very close to all amenities. Apartment was a good size and very clean. We also had off road parking. Olga was a very good host and responsive to all our questions. Dogs barking and sofa in dining area uncomfortable.

• Nicole (9/5): Great Value Home in La Fortuna - Olga was very welcoming and helpful and has great communication with us. The property is close to the Downtown Plaza yet still tucked away in a quite street. The beds were very comfortable and included 2 pillows. The house was clean and the kitchen included some basic ingredients (oil, coffee, sugar etc.). Very pleased with our experience. There was no laundry soap for the washing machine which was only a small inconvenience.

• Laura (9/5): Lovely, well equipped and spacious house in a quiet road but a few minutes walk to the centre. - The house was a pleasure to stay in. It was very clean, well maintained and well thought out. Olga our host lives next door and was very helpful with any questions. She does not speak English and I don't speak Spanish but I just translated messages. It is a spacious bungalow in a prefect location. It is a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops and the centre but on a quiet side road. There is a supermarket, 3 minutes walk away. The Wifi was very good and there is a warm shower. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed local waterfalls and hot springs.
