Excellent communication Nothing!
- RICHARD (10/5): Another great stay at the Grey House! -
- Janine (9/5): Excellent venue - Great little house with all creature comforts catered for
Very amicable hosts as needed early check-in and were very obliging Only bit of feedback, is that you need a sensor light at the drop down step into kitchen. Travelled with elderly sisters and both missed step and had falls during night accessing the bathroom, even though we had light on. Very hard to see with change in color of flooring.
- fleur (9/5): Central, comfortable and well equipped - Fabulous central, but quiet location. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Great communication from owner. The little extras, like 1tr fresh milk, quality cookies, tea selection etc were appreciated. Small step from living area to kitchen, just need to be aware
- Juanita (8/5): -

- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Ross (9/5): Comfortable home for the price. - Close to the city and surrounding tourist spots. Large back yard for children’s play. Just the single lounge chairs - a bit low for older guests and the “fire” didn’t generate much heat - but that’s just a personal thing.
- The (10/5): Lovely house - Lovely house, every detail was on point.
great location too!
- Sue (10/5): Exceptional - Simon was very informative.
It’s a lovely cottage and the location is perfect
- Robynne (9/5): Little Grey House - The location-very quiet neighbourhood, just near the city centre. Air conditioning would cool the whole house eventually as it was it was very hot weather when we were there. Very well appointed property. Fan's a bit noisy in the main bedroom
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (8/5): Very good - Great location. It was a heatwave day and upon arrival the house was incredibly hot as it was closed up.
- Mark (10/5): Lovely house in the town centre. shops and the river close by..Quiet street ,house was well equipped - Lovely clean house in the town centre. shops and the river close by..Quiet street ,house was well equipped.Simon the owner was great to communicate with.
- Lyn (9/5): 'The Grey House' was very comfortable and pleasantly larger than anticipated. - Quiet location. Beautifully renovated old railway worker's home. Very comfortable with all the facilities you could ever want in a 'home away from home' atmosphere... Will definitely book again next time we have the need for accommodation in Grafton. The bathroom needs attention; Particularly the shower cubicle... A new sliding or opening door is needed and the floor tiling 'fall' towards the drain is incorrect causing water to pool over one side (right in front of the entry).
- Judith (7/5): charming old house in a quiet area close to everything in the town, - location fabulous, we were able to walk to all parts of the town and quiet streets, nice drivers who allowed you to cross the road!, kitchen and bathroom good, nice to sit outside for a BBQ,
- Clare (10/5): Good for a group/sport team - Accommodated a group of basketballers who were in town for a tournament
- Kylie (10/5): We loved The Grey House and will definitely stay again. - Great location, lovely comfortable home. It was a home away from home and we had a great weekend. Simon was fantastic to communicate with and nothing was a problem.

The house is attractive and on a lovely street a short flat walk to town and the river. Having to leave at the end of the holiday.

- Kerrie (9/5): A cozy hideaway to relax in. - The location is excellent as you are only a 5-minute walk from Grafton's main street - so lots of cafes, shops, museums, galleries, historic buildings etc. The Clarence River is also only a few minutes walk so easy to get up and watch marvelous sunrises and sunsets. The back yard is a good size and has a tree full of fairy wrens so a lovey way to wake up in the morning. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need. Good size bathroom. Comfy lounge area. It is a truly quaint settlers cottage that I would describe as 'shabby chic'. Very quiet as well. Perfect to relax in. Highly recommended. Two suggestions: firstly to replace the missing handles on the chest of drawers in the main bedroom as they are hard to open without handles. Secondly, I would also recommend replacing the curtains in the bedrooms, either with proper blinds or curtains with tie backs that suit the style of the cottage. The aesthetic of the property is spoilt a little by the old curtains that are hanging off the rails and this can spoil the overall impression of the property. Two minor points but if fixed would elevate the property and reinforce the perception you get from the photos that are online.
- Narelle (10/5): Highly recommend this property if staying in Grafton. We look forward to staying there again next time we are in town. - The property was in a very central location, in flat walking distance to Prince Street, Roches Hotel, Grafton Regional Art Gallery, Schaeffers House Museum and the Clarence River. The house itself is very well appointed and has lovely country features, a large backyard with outdoor area, modern amenities throughout, and is a very relaxing home.
- Maree (10/5): Exceptional - well furnished & spotlessly clean nothing 😀
- Anne (10/5): Had a lovely time - The house was warm and cosy The shower drain did not drain very well
- Sharon (8/5): very well worth staying at! - lovely house. had all we needed there , comfortable., and attractively set up. it’s also set up for all types of visitors. beds are very comfortable and has a great bath. the narrow garage area made it hard to get out of car, but can park in driveway closer to road
- Dan (10/5): I stayed for a work project, we had 3 people and all slept comfortably, good yard to relax. - location was really good, easy walk to shops and cafes, beautiful tree lined streets, close to river. It met all my needs.
- Kari (9/5): Superb - It was in a great location, very short walk to the Main Street, and had everything you needed, milk, tea, coffee and even some snacks! Every room had a fan and there was an air conditioning unit in the kitchen that kept the house cool if you left the bedroom doors open but we weren’t there in summer.Next time I’m in Grafton I will definitely be staying there. Nothing

Nothing
- Christina (8/5): Very good -

Missed having no visitors book containing instruction manuals (for cooker and cooker hood!) and local info/maps.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - a lovely home that felt like home,
warm and cozy with great facilities and a large back yard N/A

- Diane (10/5): The stay was fabulous. couldn’t fault a thing. - very comfortable and quiet Loved every aspect
- Tracy (9/5): The question below about how quiet was the room has to do with the neghbours – dogs barking, etc. -
