- Shakthignanavel (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Beautiful, well-located holiday home. Well-equipped. Very friendly landlady. Shopping nearby. Bus stop right around the corner. It's about a 30-minute bus ride to downtown Adelaide. The beach at Glenelg is about an hour away. The neighbors upstairs were extremely loud. They were shouting, singing... you could hear every movement. No consideration.
- Jennifer (9/5): Ideal location, accommodation good - Location was ideal, property has everything we needed
- Anne (9/5): It really was like having my own home, not a motel room. - Home away from home. Quiet. Everything provided. Nothing
- Jason (8/5): Enjoyed, would stay again, great hosts - Clean, comfortable, safe Would like air con in the bedrooms
- Charmaine (8/5): Very good - Everything The beds were to hard
- Tanya (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Enjoyable - Everything On street parking
- Gayle (10/5): Rosa was a fantastic host, very comfortable place to stay in a convenient location -
- Craige (10/5): Exceptional -
- Magda (2/5): Very poor - The host is lovely and was very flexible and easy to communicate with. I'm unsure about the other reviews.
We had the bottom floor, we were unaware the second level gets another set of guests.
There is no backyard, just concrete and dry weeds - not what I would call pet friendly at all. There's an unkempt front yard, with a filthy well in the middle, the gate doesn't lock, so could not leave our dog there.
The bed is very uncomfortable- low, soft and springy.
The toilet door doesn't close!!!!!!
The TV isn't HD even!
The stay was so unpleasant that we paid for 3 nights but left after 2.
- Porter (8/5): Very good -
- Debbie (8/5): Was great thank you - We were well looked after by the host, the area was larger than expected
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (9/5): Amazing, cosy stay - The house was very nice. It was so quiet and relaxing. Had everything needed to cook etc. And the beds were the most comfortable bed I have slept in.
- Dev (10/5): Excellent stay, Excellent Hosts, very responsive, Safe - It is exceptional, in the middle of beautiful Adelaide. Scenic Valley View close by. Ingle Farm shopping center, and Nelson Road, they all are awesome.
- Manisha (8/5): Great stay - Clean house, Friendly and responsive host, good location.
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joey (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for visiting family and large house for 3 of us
- Gunathilaka (6/5): Pleasant - Would not recommend this place.
Place was with spiders and cobwebs and we noticed as soon as we checked in. But the owners respond was cobwebs can be formed within 24hrs. I'm not sure what was that logic even. They should have cleaned it properly before they handover the key. (Not before couple of weeks)
Not sufficient toilet papers, tea or coffee. Be prepared to buy these from nearest Supermarket.
Both toilet and shower cubicle are blocked by a washing machine and it's pretty hard to use those.
They say insite parking, but that will be just street parking and sometimes you have to park couple of blocks away and carry your bags from there.
Upstairs was way too noisy, not even sure what they were doing that loud during 2-3am. Couldnt sleep properly. The day before we leave we went to one of our friends house and slept there as we cannot risk ourselves driving 850km drowsy because we cannot sleep peacefully at night with that upstair noise.
If you are a pet owner, please note that they will charge the bond no matter how well dog behaved or how well you clean the house before you leave. Obviously vaccuming a small carpet wont cost you closer to 100$! So scammy! Make sure that you will be taking photos of damaged couch and all as soon as you check in, otherwise they might charge for those as well.
- Pramod (10/5): We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Best property for a family. -
- Cory (8/5): Would stay again and highly recommend. - Everything was perfect, great house and nice and dark inside which allows a good sleep in House was perfectly fine, the only recommendation id have is to upgrade the TV.
- Ramishka (10/5): Very good house with everything we need - The house had everything what we need for 5 days.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean, comfortable
And great location.
Close to shops, restaurants
Will definitely stay again
- Karen (7/5): Good - Very large rooms The shower was hard to get in as the washing machine is stopping the door to open fully a big person would find it hard to fit through the door. Could not lock bath room door and the breeze would open as you were in use of bathroom.
- Olive (6/5): It was a nice stay but accessibility to what was needed was lacking - Spacious Near the fridge is a stairwell that is blocked off at the top it is dark with no lighting. I wish I knew about this as I felt anxious the whole time 4x days and 4x nights.
Air con needs to be looked at, it barely kept us cool for more than 1-2 hours and it would not increase fan speed despite setting.
Leave no food around we came hm one arvo ants every where due to one tiny tomatoe on the floor or buy your own insect spray.
Pet hair all over the couch which I wasn't a fan off.
Lock on the front door jams making it hard to lock.
Bins were overfilled when we arrived so kept rubbish indoors or dropped of else where.
BYO:
Washing laundry soap
Toilet paper
Disinfect spray for surfaces
Sugar (there is coffee/tea made available)
close to local plaza, parks and if your not fussed abt the above than it suits you well.
Beds are comfy and clean so are the rooms.
Take junction box!!!
- Ebony (10/5): We decided to stay in Adelaide last minute and this place was just so convenient and comfortable - It was in a great location close to ttp
- Tracy (9/5): Superb - Set up and room of the house and so so clean The bathroom getting into the shower could be difficult for some the washing machine is too big
- Erica (8/5): Very good - Quiet, clean, well insulated
- Chelsea (6/5): Pleasant - Upstairs tenants were super loud and both bins were over flowing that we couldn’t use to clean up when we left
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant - Plenty of space, separation between rooms and lounge/kitchen which helps when kids go to bed before adults. The cleanliness of all the cooking facilities and kitchen utilities was second to none, amazing! Not having to have takeout all the time is great, and the location was so close to everything we needed The shower door opens only halfway as is blocked by the washing machine, not convenient for bigger people. Not near enough insulation between people staying upstairs and us being downstairs, you can hear chairs scraping, people talking, music, etc. Queen bed was a little too soft for my liking personally. Lastly though, I did have safety concerns, you can only lock the front door with a key, not by hand, the front door is the only entry/exit as door to garage was locked and internal stairs obviously locked as separate accommodation, the fire alarm was only in bedroom areas which was my concern as if there was a fire you may hear it too late and then be needing your key to try to get out front door, I think this needs to be relooked at.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Nice open, clean house. Perfect night away
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (8/5): Convenient house in the suburbs, a home away from home - Very convenient for our purpose which was visiting family nearby. Comfortable beds, quiet street, more spacious than it appears from outside. Bus stop just around the corner, 5 min drive or 15 min walk to shops. Felt at home. The second bedroom has a window which is covered up so in effect, no window. We could have done with extra blankets on a couple of very cold nights. Not a lot of cooking equipment, however most visits are probably shorter stays than ours so this may not be a problem for most. Be aware that this accommodation is the bottom storey of a 2 level house. Upper and lower levels are separate rentals so there may be other guests above who share the back yard and driveway.
- Rob (7/5): Great comfortable place in good location. - Location is excellent. Great place, although a little more attention to detail ( cleaning wise ) is needed
- Stephen (8/5): Most enjoyable -
- Anonymous (9/5): Very tidy very clean great location - Very comfortable
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joe (7/5): Good -
- Tonimarie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (9/5): Very clean, close to everything we needed, great price and the owner was very obliging. -
- Linda (7/5): Good - Good value for money the washing machine was too close to shower hard to get in there need to be another drive way as it 2 separate units
- Julie (4/5): reasonably good - the location was good the owner entered the property when we weren’t there and the people upstairs were loud and there was no tea towel to dry dishes
- Patricia (8/5): good location, had everything we needed - The location is great. The unit is bigger than I expected. it served us well for our stay. The bed was a little uncomfortable. And we never heard back from message to owner Re check in but found the keys.
- Penny (8/5): Very good - Facilities were clean and very comfortable. Very accessible and lovely front garden. Gate could've been bit easier to manouver, and outdoor table/chairs cleaned.
- Meaghan (7/5): Good -
- Vicki (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (7/5): Great value and Size - The size of the property was very comfortable and it was great value. The property was on the ground level with another dwelling above. At times you could hear movement.
- Dan (9/5): Superb -
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Rebekka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roshen (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (8/5): Very good -
- Keara (5/5): it was alright - nice and convenient for location it was a little dirty and the cutlery was old and not clean
- Mullins (4/5): Location was good but the house was awful. Would never stay there again. Needs a professional clean - It could have been cleaner, the beds were clean but everywhere else was covered in dust. Cobwebs were hanging down from bedroom ceiling and they were8 across the lounge room window. Bathroom sink was really stained and vanity unit was broken. The lounge furniture was covered in stains to name but a few.
- Winston (8/5): very peaceful - was enough parking for five cars . what we needed as we had trailer and boat aswell as two cars pizza and Chinese restaurant just up the hill there was some water in the middle of gardens not sure if it was because of rain but . yeah
- Williams (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (6/5): Was nice and quiet. After the car got it’s light tampered with I was very frightened they could come back and do more da - clean and quiet someone tried to take the spotlights off my car that was parked ON the footpath in front of the house. They took the fittings and left the light hanging.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (8/5): enjoyed our stay and will book again - the location, cleanliness
- Gyanendra (8/5): Very good - Accommodation No smart TV, heating didn't work properly, was cold
- Tiffany (7/5): Good -
- Roshen (9/5): Superb -
- Gary (9/5): Location was perfect for our needs - Clean, comfortable and good value for money. Bed didn't look the best but was surprisingly comfy. Tenent above had loud TV on first night but turned down after request.
Shower was difficult to get into as washing machine was in the way of the door.
- Roshen (9/5): Superb -
- Stevens (9/5): Would definitely stay here again (second visit) - Perfect location for my catch up with family
Close to shops and facilities
All accommodation was comfortable Washing machine too large in bathroom, making access to shower a little difficult due to my personal mobility issues
- Palmer (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Kylie (6/5): Well priced but some issues - Little bit extra space. Just father and daughter. Quiet location and close to where we needed to go. The door for the shower only opens a little way, I could only just get in, my dad was not able to get in and use. Very cramped in the wet area.
