Maggie Mwy Cafe down the road is set friendly and beautiful staff and feed. In-between two busy roads, so can be noisy. We had neighbours in the adjoining cabin which were noisy but that can't be helped

• Jane (10/5): Perfect place to stay for a night or longer. ❤️ - The Cabin we stayed in was absolutely perfect. We had our dog with us and she also loved the place. There is so much room for your dog to run around and the Cabin has everything you need. We will definitely be staying again. ❤️ There is nothing we didn’t like.

• Martin (4/5): Expired - The hosts were lovely. Great communicators and responders to requests. The Cabin had a "use by" date which lapsed several years before my stay. Old. Dated. Smells. No Riverbend views or direct access to it from your Cabin. Pillows hopeless. Aged appliances that malfunction. Poor lighting. Premises require air con to enter. They have functioning air con. Otherwise, no insulation, dark, oppressive. No supply of kitchen or bathroom products. So stingy as to not rate at all on what you normally get at an Air-B-n-B.

• Kevin (10/5): Brilliant and well worth the trip to visit. - Located close to amenities, easy to access. Cabin clean and tidy, fully equiped for a cabin. The best part was the 2 acre green grass run that the dogs could play in unleashed. There was nothing not to like.

• Lorene (9/5): I was very happy with our accommodation and being able to have my little dog with me was wonderful. - We liked everything and the excellent communication with the host. We were looking forward to some peace and quiet away from the city. Very happy. I'd definitely go back as it was convenient to where my friends live, and we had a wonderful catch up. It rained the whole time, but that is no-one's fault. As a result of the weather, we didn't get to have a good look around the entire property. Also, it was so wet when I went outside to get something from the car, I stupidly wore thongs as when I came inside I had a nasty fall on the tiles. Ended up pretty sore and banged up, but as I said it was my own fault and an accident.
• Geanine (8/5): A great super dog friendly cottage just a short drive to gorgeous beaches. - The property was an ideal property for furbabies.The large dog run was fantastic and having a fenced courtyard with a doggy door to the cottage was great. They even provided an area to wash your dog after a beach visit. Lovely gardens and pretty comfy beds. The kitchen was basic but all you need. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a furbaby friendly holiday with only a short drive to beaches and restaurants etc. Being so close to the neighbours was not ideal, particularly when the neighbours were smoking outside, as it made sitting outside not that pleasant.😒

• Lisa (8/5): Overall it was great and the fact that facilitated so well for a fur baby would definitely recommend. - The off the leash dog area was awesome with loads of room to run. Doggy door was fantastic too. The kitchen was basic and small but functional. The fridge was a decent enough in size for a small family. A vacuum would have been handy also. The pillows were not comfortable and wish we had taken our own.

• Glennscrooks (5/5): Not our cup of tea - The venue is beautiful. The cottage allocated to us was clean. Perfect venue if you have dogs. The owners are very pleasant to deal with, very friendly. The children's room with the 3 single beds was perfect for a family of 5. As the venue was beautiful, we never realised it was on a main road, which meant the noise of the cars were constant, day and night. The main bedroom with the queen bed had no space for our luggage, we couldn't unpack as there were no drawers or cupboards available. The firepit was lovely, but we had no view at all. We expected to sit outside, enjoy the firepit, but instead, our view was a fence. Our allocated cottage was right next to the second cottage, which meant that we could hear the other couples conversations and could smell their cigarette smoke. We expected to enjoy the kayaks and fishing as recommended by previous visitors, only to be told upon arrival that it is not available for visitors anymore.

• Melissa (10/5): Great little cottage - Lovely cottage. Very neat n clean. Great courtyard for my dog to play in. Comfy beds. Shower base was a bit spongy in the middle. Bit of a hazard for us larger girls. Other than that, everything was lovely.

• Lynda (7/5): It was nice to get away but I really needed the peace and quiet which was sadly lacking. - The wide open space and river for my dog to run and play. The firewood which cost $20 was green and didn’t burn, the pics shown on Booking.com are very deceiving. The cottage itself has a very small fenced yard, had to walk to the off leash area. There is a sign on the gate entering the off leash area saying ‘dog play and SWIM’ I spent a whole afternoon down at the river swimming with my dog only to be told by the owner (upon my return) not to swim because of BULLSHARKS which especially love dogs!! I feel this needs to be signposted! The cottage was lovely but there was no ‘finishing touches’, no soap, very basic. Unfortunately the owner chose to mow the paddock which meant 2 days of mower noise and it’s also on a main road, traffic noise is constant.

• Donna (9/5): Superb - We found there was everything we needed. Super easy check in and check out. Hosts were accommodating to our early check in request. Super friendly hosts with excellent communication. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever up that way. We loved that it's pet friendly. Having our own bbq and fire pit was awesome too. More storage/ counter top space in the bathroom would have been handy. A view to the river from the yard would also have been nice, or perhaps an access gate from each of the yards. However we understand the current fencing and privacy it offers. There is a gate near the main entrance door guests to use to get to river though. Overall though we were very satisfied with everything 🙂

• Beth (9/5): A beautiful location to enjoy relaxing by a creek and/or a swim in the ocean: heaven! - The property had access to a very large leash free paddock for my dog to use and this led directly to the creek. The field was mown, there was a pond and a place to sit under a tree while watching my dog play in the water. It was a perfect, relaxing setting and we both enjoyed it. The Cottage itself was very comfortable and well-equipped. The fenced yard meant I could take my large dog on holiday with me. The location of the property was very close to Nambour for grocery shopping and to leash free beaches. Only one minor issue was the wifi kept cutting in and out, but given that everything else was spot on, it wasn’t a big drama.

• Joylene (7/5): A great stay but spoilt by the four dogs in cottage. - We liked the location and the grounds for our fur baby In the cottage next to our cabin there were four dogs. The dog owners went to dinner and their four dogs whined cried and yelped for two and a half hours. The next morning about 5.00am they went fishing and left the dogs to yelp whine and cry until they returned.
• Helen (9/5): Definitely give this place a try ❤️ - Such a cute place. Went with my husband, 2 adult children and 4 dogs. Cottage has all you need, comfortable beds, a dog bed and 3 dog bowls. Lovely firepit, we bought a wheelbarrow of firewood from David and that lasted us 3 nights. Kitchen equipment is a bit basic but didnt eat in much. Nambour is 5 minutes away and Ubereats deliver. Gorgous paddock accessed from the other side of the driveway. Dogs loved it. Runs down to the river. All in all would stay again and definitely recommend. Nothing really, bigger supply of shampoo and washing up liquid. Another bin bag wouldnt have gone amiss either!

The bed was super comfy and had everything we needed. It was close to Nambour and other great spots to visit. Could have done with more washing up liquid. If you can really worry about that.

• Large (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, totally relaxing. We would highly recommend it to anyone. - Loved the little Cabin. It was very clean and tidy and the facilities were well appointed. The property is beautifully kept, the grass was mowed, all was tidy, the location is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Could've had a grab rail in the shower as the shower floor is very slippery. The amount of dishwashing liquid was nowhere near enough but Debra provided more upon request. The portable stove top doesn't really do the job, but it was certainly better than nothing.

• Julie (9/5): Superb - The room size. Everything you need in a kitchen. Yard for dog. There was no access to the lake. One side had building material blocking access and the other side had gate with no entry sign. It had chairs along the water and would of been relaxing to sit there with a glass of wine. The entry was on busy windy road.

• Nicky (5/5): Surrounding area is beautiful. That is why we choose it. - Bed was comfortable Bottle of wine and chocolate bar on arrival. Clean premises. Nice outlook (if you stood on tippy toes over the fence). Plenty of places to visit in surrounding area. TV too small - nowhere to sit comfortably to watch TV Cottage next door was too close and had very noisy occupants when we first arrived. They quietened down after we complained to host who contacted the occupants. Fortunately, they left the next morning. Otherwise we considered going elsewhere. The area for our 2 dogs was too small. We expected to be able to roam the large property. Minimal dish wash sachets (only 2) only 3 coffee sachets (thankfully we bought our own coffee). No herbal teas. Very minimal amenities. The property unfortunately is situated on a very busy road although the noise didn't disturb us, much care was needed exiting and entering the property.
