Guest Reviews
- Rosemary (8/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay at the cottage. - The location was excellent and the kitchen was well equipped. A washing machine was a bonus. The owner gave us excellent recommendations about good coffee and pastries nearby which we sampled a couple of times. There were two bedrooms without bedside lamps and one bedroom has 6 down lights which made it so bright that it was difficult to read. We had difficulty with unlocking the back door and had to walk around the block and go in the front. The screen door also stuck. We realise the property is on the market but some attention to these issues will make for a more stress free stay for visitors in the future.
- Rechelle (8/5): -
- Tina Lefebvre (8/5): -
- Margaret (6/5): - Information on fourth bedroom being separate from house.
Promised second set of keys not included
Loose lock on back door made difficult trying to access house when exiting the fourth bedroom.
Maybe a spare toilet roll instead of very minimal amount left on roll
- Joanne (1/5): -
- Kimpton (1/5): - Nothing , after 1000k scooter trip , 20 minutes before arrival I got a text message saying the booking had been cancelled due to previous tenants, numerous phone calls , not answered, left messages , not replying, and now 6 days later no money returned -absolutely descustin
I will never use this company again As above ,Booking dot comes communication is zero
- Donna (8/5): We got upgraded at the last minute to a 2nd property in Mudgee owned by the same person. The new house was exceptional, - Clean, well appointed & location Toilets were noisy throughout the night
- Robert (10/5): -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Great location and just what we needed. - The location was good, we have stayed there before. It was looking a little tired. The heated in the back room did not work. One of the front bedroom loos did not work.
- Katie (6/5): it was fine. as mentioned the finishing touches to elevate our experience were missing - there was nothing wrong with the property but the finishing touches that make it really cosy and lovely were missing.
which was a bit disappointing.
there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom which isn’t enough for 5 guests for 2 nights.
no shower gel left in rhe bottle or hand wash in the bathrooms
no dishwashing detergent or tablets for the dishwasher to clean our dishes.
it was advertised to have a fireplace but no wood or kindling to light the fire. which was very upsetting as we were looking forward to a cozy fire and night in.
it was very challenging to get the false fire heating working
i even contacted the owners to ask how. we ended up giving up.
but in that time it became freezing inside.
- Janelle (8/5): -
- King (8/5): -
- Bronwyn (5/5): Disappointing - Location Listed as having a fire place and main reason for booking - on arrival was told unable to use it is for decoration only
Listed as having a hair dryer - none available
Provided one roll of toilet paper for 6 people for a 3 night stay
Television did not work and was told an electrician would be around to fix - they did not show
A vacuum cleaner available that was out of charge and no cord to be able to charge
- Kim (9/5): Very comfortable stay. - Very clean, cosy and warm. Excellent location, Wonderful beds. I would definitely recommend Kuzman for a winter getaway with friends. I just wanted to let you know that we did have issues accessing the keys to get in. The correct pin code didn't get sent through until 1.5 hours after we arrived and we couldn't get in touch with the property managers via the phone number given. Not a huge issue, but it was very cold outside while we were trying to get in touch. We did specify our check-in time (2pm) and got there at 2.10pm.
- Vicki (8/5): Very good - Location,space
- Ric (6/5): We enjoyed our time time in the cottage and spent the days touring around the surrounding towns. - Didn't realise you provided cereal for breakfast, so brought and used our own. Happy to see the spreads and sauces, but again, didn't realise you had provided, so used our own.
The shower was lovely and hot and the bathroom had plenty of room to move. The two sinks were a bonus so we could share space. There was nothing to wipe surfaces with, so we had to buy a scourer, wettex and wipes and left them there for the next visitors. Also, the toilet in the main bathroom was not very clean - the bowl is very dark indicating not thorough scrubbing between rentals.
The TV in the front room does not work. Possibly a technician should look at it.
We could not use the heater in the dining room - could not work out the controls - or maybe it doesn't work, either.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (8/5): Location is Great - Location is good, easy walk to town. Nice old house, Management responded to all questions, communication was fantastic. Enjoyed our 2 nights 😊 Nil
- Visitacion (8/5): Very good - Excellent location
- Chrystal (5/5): Property didn't live up to expectation. - Guests were upset to find a large number of dead flies / insects inside the property and a very unpleasant smell. TV reception was terrible and the fan in the kitchen area seems excessively noisy.
- Andrew (8/5): Spacious clean and comfortable older home beautifully renovated. Location perfect as close to main shopping , cafes, pub - Very spacious and comfortable
Lovely old home beautifully renovated A few maintenance issues - fans in bedroom 2 and dining room, lamp in bedroom 2,
- Ariz (5/5): Passable - The property's location was ideal for our needs. The accommodations were well-maintained and met our expectations. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, and we appreciated the tidy environment. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. We would recommend this rental to others. This property might be better advertised as a three-bedroom house with a granny flat instead of r bedroom house. Please be aware that the kitchen and lounge carpet tiles require some maintenance. Additionally, all the fans need repairs, but otherwise, it's a cozy space.
- Linaya (10/5): perfect stay ! - perfect location able to walk everywhere easily, very clean and aircons kept us nice and cool everything was great ! my only thing would be maybe some extra pillows for the beds !
- Anne (9/5): Fantastic! - Big enough for seven people. Easy access to town. Noisy, as it was on the Main Street.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margarita (7/5): Good -
- Jillian (8/5): We enjoyed it for the short stay. - Location & cleanliness The fact that the 4th bedroom was actually a bungalow out the back that’s not mentioned in the advertising also there was hardly any glasses for us but after ringing up the office they got more than enough for us.
- Rhonda (8/5): Great location, short drive to town, coffee shops just across the road. - Property was clean, comfortable, nice dining area.
- Lydia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristen (10/5): Very pleasant and relaxing base for our weekend in Mudgee. - Location fantastic. Property nice and clean and fresh. Loved the outdoor fire. Everything you could want. Grateful we were upgraded to this property by the host. Nothing comes to mind.
- Chrissy (1/5): Would not recommend. - The hosts to this property were very hard to communicate with and cancelled our booking 24 hours prior to our arrival. This was very disappointing and very stressful as we had to find another property immediately.
Receiving the refund for this property also took a long time as the hosts were very slow in responding to messages and phone calls.
- Brent (8/5): Clean and good value for money. Not in the heart of town. - The house was very clean and easily accommodated our party of 7. The house is on the main road but wasn’t loud at night. Well priced. We weren’t told and the pictures don’t show that one of the bedrooms and bathrooms is a converted garage/laundry come granny flat that can only be accessed by going outside through the back sliding door.
This property is not as close to the heart of town as you’d think. It’s a good 15min walk to the main pubs and restaurants. This might be ok in winter but not in warmer months so I’d recommend giving the Mudgee taxi company a call if your having a few drinks.
There is no aircon in the bedrooms and you need to leave all bedroom doors open in warmer months to be able to sleep. Rooms have ceiling fans which is good but one of the rooms had a really noisy fan that kept guests awake.
Toilet seat in the granny flat toilet doesn’t fit the toilet bowl and was loose.
Besides these little things we still enjoyed our stay.
- Catherine (9/5): With just a few minor adjustments this would be the PERFECT place to stay. - The house was very inviting, cosy in winter and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and beds were lovely. It was close to the city centre but in a quiet neighbourhood.
I recommend this place and would be happy to return. There was only 1 set of keys not 2 as stated in the book. Also the keys were not marked so it took a while to lock and unlock the doors. Information about whether or not to lock the screen doors would have been helpful too.
No hairdryer or tissues, paper towels or paper serviettes were supplied and 1 tea towel is not enough for a three day stay.
- Kobie (10/5): The best house for entertaining, facilities were were fresh and clean. Stunning home - This property was absolutely perfect, stunning house in an excellent location. Close to everything
- Patric (8/5): Great for a group of 8 and very clean - Really nice property and will definitely stay again. Location a little walk from town but a nice flat walk. Two places to get a coffee across the road and a pub located within 100m. Really nice property and well decorated in great clean order. A little more crockery would have been great. Two sets of keys would also have been better. TV in lounge room had a bad connection so difficult to watch any TV here.
- Jodie (8/5): Excellent property. Light and airy. Great location - Very well stocked pantry. More toilet paper.
Better bbq cleaning supplies
- Georgia (9/5): A fabulous weekend away!! - Great location!! Very clean throughout. The aircon keeps it nice and warm when it gets cold at night! The front garden is just so pretty! The house itself is well decorated. Lots of coffee shops nearby. Recommend the bakery on the corner. Bed was a little hard in our room. Took us a few mins to realise the last bedroom/bathroom was in the garage/granny flat in the courtyard area! These are not really downsides though- it was a superb stay! Would highly recommend
- Jacqueline (9/5): Excellent and we would stay there again. - Nice and central for our needs, plenty of room but still cosy. Everything was clean and modern. We couldn't find a hairdryer.
- Russel (8/5): Very good -
- Catherine (9/5): Superb -
- Shane (8/5): Great stay for a large group - Great property, very clean and centrally located Granny flat was very cold and was the only bed without an electric blanket.
Fireplace was difficult to keep alight, the chimney may need cleaning
- Kylie (5/5): Disappointing service - Lovely spot and a nice home We arrived late to find it had not been cleaned. Was unable to reach the contact so found alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning received an apologetic call. They arranged cleaning and we had a nice stay after that... HOWEVER they had promised a refund for the first night which 4 months later still has not been received and all attempts to contact have been ignored.
- Robyn (10/5): we loved Kuzman Cottage! comfy and convenient for a long weekend in Mudgee. - Property was clean, airy, comfortable, plenty of room for us four ladies to have their own bed! Close to Main Street of Mudgee, easy walk to supermarket. 2 Great coffee/ French pastries places just across the road!! Nothing really except maybe a chair on the front verandah for chats!
- Evelyn (9/5): Staying in a perfectly presented house added an extra touch to our Mudgee visit. - excellent presentation. tastefully decorated. attention to detail. exceptionally clean there was nothing about the property to dislike. location is a busy road so there was some traffic noise. could not find a hairdryer. but the property was excellent.
- Niladri (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Kirsten (10/5): Amazing cottage in Mudgee - cute cottage, lots of space, decorated so nicely, great location!
