• Sara (9/5): - La proprietaria ti accoglie nella sua casa e nella sua città dandoti le chiavi per un weekend perfetto. Monolocale piccolino ma ottimamente organizzato, con tutto il necessario. Sacrificato l'angolo cottura, cosa già notata dalle foto, ma dettaglio del tutto ininfluente per quanto ci riguarda in un weekend tra le delizie napoletane! Sufficiente isolamento acustico, considerando la posizione centrale in un quartiere molto vivo..nel bene e nel male! Molto consigliato! Per chi ne soffre, non si riesce ad ottenere il buio completo.

• Pilar (10/5): Genial! - El apartamento es muy acogedor y confortable. La comunicacion con Tonia fue fácil y fluida en todo momento, con buenas orientaciones y consejos. La ubicacion en casco antiguo permite desplazarse a pie a muchos lugares de interes cultural y de vistas panorámicas. No encuentro objeciones. El tema de subir una escalera estrecha es normal en un edificio del barrio español en pleno centro. Seria un problema si dificultades de movilidad

Everything was well organized for a relaxing stay, and the place was very clean. The location is also very convenient. The host, Tonya, was always available, very kind and friendly, and gave us great recommendations to make our stay even better. Highly recommended!

Nem a szállás tehet róla, inkább csak információ, hogy a 4. emeleten helyezkedik el, lift nincs és olaszosan rettentően szűk a lépcsőház. Egy kisbabával és babakocsival ez elég sok problémát okoz. A baba miatt szintén nem gondoltuk végig, hogy egy légtér az apartman, ez fel sem tűnt, legközelebb már erre is figyelünk. :)

• Antonino (10/5): Favolosoooooooooo - Siamo stati da Gelso Home e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo. La signora è stata gentilissima fin dal primo momento, tanto che al nostro arrivo ha fatto trovare degli ovetti Kinder per il nostro bambino: un gesto semplice ma davvero molto dolce e apprezzato. La casa è bellissima, molto pulita e si trova in pieno centro, quindi comodissima per visitare Napoli. Inoltre la signora è stata sempre disponibile e mi ha aiutato tantissimo, fornendomi tutte le informazioni utili per muoverci e goderci al meglio il soggiorno. La ringraziamo ancora di cuore per l’accoglienza e la disponibilità. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie Gelso Home.
• Vlčková (10/5): Little piece of relax in the heart of Napoli - The apartment was just great. Very centrally located, but inside it feels like a little save space in all of the chaos Napoli is known for. It’s just a small space but there is everything you might need. Coffee machine, heater, cooker, wardrobe, wifi, television etc. When we arrived the owner kindly took us to the apartment, explained everything about how things work, keys etc. and even left a little bit of snacks for us in the kitchen. She was very nice and helpful. It was just great, I really recommend if you want to have a little bit of calm, clean and overall just pretty place to relax.
• Michaela (9/5): - The stay was great. We were also pleased by the small surprise for our daughter and the snacks. The kitchen is equipped with coffee and teas. Everything matched the description. The location is perfect – close to the metro, the Spanish Quarter, the city center, and also to the funicular to Castel San Elmo. The only downside was the noise from the nearby bars during the weekend, but for us it was nothing serious.

• Maria Giovanna (9/5): Vivere l'essenza di Napoli - Posizione perfetta per visitare Napoli in pochi giorni. Tutte le principali attrazioni sono a portata di mano. Noi camminiamo volentieri e ci siamo mosse prevalentemente a piedi, ma all'occorrenza c'è la metropolitana a due passi, ed anche la funicolare che porta al Vomero ed al Castel sant'Elmo si trova a poca distanza dall'abitazione. Ci siamo sentite al sicuro in zona, anche la sera. La casa è pulita e ben attrezzata. Essendo in una zona così centrale e vivace si sente il rumore esterno fino a molto tardi, ma ci sta.

• greta (10/5): Appartamento bello e centrale! Consigliatissimo! - Appartamento bello, pulito e confortevole dotato di tutto il necessario. Posizione ottima a due minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metro Toledo. Tonia la proprietaria è gentilissima e fornisce tutte le informazioni necessarie per visitare la città. Super consigliato!! Tutto ottimo ma segnalo solo che l’appartamento è al terzo piano senza ascensore e le scale sono molto ripide. Per noi non era un problema ma bisogna esserne consapevoli.

• Pablo (1/5): Mala solución ante un problema - La localización No pudimos ducharnos con agua caliente por un problema con la caldera . El problema derivó en que nos quedásemos sin luz , había una fuga en la caldera que mojó todo el baño y tras intentar solucionarlo sin éxito , avisamos a la anfitriona que nos ofreció la solución de llevarnos a un airbnb de un amigo . Hasta aquí bien la solución porque actuó rápido . El problema fue que nos dijo que estaba al lado y no era verdad , la zona no tenía nada que ver con la alquilada y además , compartíamos piso con otra gente . Alquilamos un espacio único para dos personas por lo que no puede darse como solución el compartir con desconocidos . Mostramos nuestro descontento y no nos dio ninguna solución . Hemos pagado por estar solos y en el centro y hemos estado dos noches alejados y con otra gente cuando el problema es totalmente ajeno a nosotros y en las fotos se ve que hay un mal mantenimiento de la caldera porque había evidencias de que había habido esa fuga anteriormente como se puede ver en la tercera foto que fue previa al problema definitivo . En conclusión , mala experiencia

• Alan (10/5): Loved the place and location and would certainly stay again - The flat was very well equipped with everything you could need for a short stay and the space was used effectively - my wife said the the hair dryer was great, which is not always the case when away and everything was very clean. There was enough cooking equipment - not that we used it - and even toiletries which was a lovely touch. The location was perfect - near plenty of bars and restaurants, the metro, shopping and main attractions and the Wi-Fi was excellent as was the aircon. The steps looked an issue initially but not as bad as they seemed - quite narrow but we managed with luggage and was not a problem

• Marco (10/5): Amazing stay in the heart of Napoli - Location is great, right in the Pignasecca borough but in a side road which is very quite at night. All the main attractions are easily reachable on foot and the metro station Toledo is only 5 minutes away. A special thank to our host Tonia which was extremely helpful and kind. Super recommended!

As it is on the 4th floor, it’s not as noisy as you’d expect.

All you need for a short stay in Napoli. It is located on the 4-th floor, so you need to be quite fit to take the narrow and steep staircase. This is how Italians keep their shape probably ;)

There are good restaurants right out the door with major shopping and subway close at hand. The room was very clean and well appointed and we slept in much later than we planned due to the comfort of the bed. I could have stayed here longer.

• Janine (10/5): A slice of Napoli - Gelso home is conveniently located to the Spanish quarter, and Tonia has provided a great range of facilities to make the stay enjoyable. The maps and appendum of ideas for things to see in naples was great. Be mindful that the apartment is on the third floor. Not an issue for us.

Although the location is central, be prepared for the very old building on a very narrow (and not exactly clean) street. Very steep steps four floors up. The stairway is so narrow that a 100 lb girl with a small carry on won’t fit there. Was really a pain getting the luggage up. If you have something bigger than a carry on, don’t even try. The shower head was not fixed and you had to hold it in your hand when showering.

We had tons of snacks, coffee and tea and everything else you might need. We felt right at home thanks to Tonia who helped make this experience unforgetable. The property is very close to the metro station, which we didn’t use anyway except for when we arrived in Napoli, because the location is great and every place is within walking distance. • Raul (8/5): We really enjoyed our four-nights stay because we got to enjoy many of the sites. We felt safe, we found several good pl - It was centrally located, close to Metro, restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself was updated, clean and ready to enjoy. Tonia the hostess was exceptional, she communicated proactively, gave us clear instructions from the time we landed at the airport, gave us transportation options, waited for us to arrive at the Metro station and walked us to the property. Tonia was very welcoming and she even helped us carry a couple of luggage pieces up the very steep and narrow three stories stairs since there was no elevator. The stairs leading up to the property and, because it was centrally located, at times in the middle of the night you could hear loud people and motorcycles. A positive among the negatives was that because the property was on the third floor the loud noises were more tolerable.

• Sarah (10/5): Perfect, convenient, clean space for exploring Napoli. - Our host, Tonia, provided clear directions for us to meet her at the Toledo metro stop. We loved the location - so close to the metro station and the Quartieri Spagnoli. Such a vibrant area. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, and Tonia has made is special with all of her design touches. She was so warm, welcoming, and gracious. We loved our time at Gelso Home! It was all wonderful. (Note - there are four flights of stairs, but we didn't mind that)
• Vladimiramirela (10/5): Best in Naples! - Tonia is an excellent host, communicating promptly and providing any help and information. The studio is located close to the subway station, within walking distance from most touristic attractions in the city. Everithing is very clean, there is a fully equiped kitchen, balcony, and a warm welcome. N/A
