• Sarah (10/5): Awesome location that has everything - Absolutely stunning property. Spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for us. Superb views, peace and quiet, near to the beach and also wildlife. Penguins potter around the bay after dark. We absolutely loved this place and would recommend as a must stay on Kangaroo Island. Nothing.

In der Beschreibung steht jeweils eine Klimaanlage in jedem Schlafzimmer. Das stimmt nicht. Nur der Masterbedroom hat eine Klimaanlage. Beschreibung stimmt nicht, extrem unbefriedigend.

• Angéline (9/5): - The house itself is beautiful and super well equipped, we felt right at home. It was pretty well located as everything was about 1h30 maximum by car. Kingscote is just over 15 mins drive away and you can find anything you need there. It was very quiet and close to the beach. Loved the gas bbq and the terrace. Having two bathrooms and two living rooms (with two TVs) was perfect for us. There is no AC in one of the rooms, only a ceiling fan. From the photos, we thought that the place was very isolated and almost directly on the beach, which it isn't. It is in a residential area, with neighbours all around (but they are all very lovely and discreet and the area is really quiet), and it takes about 10 min to walk to the beach (which is still pretty close). The beach view is partially obstructed by the front neighbour's house. It was a little disappointing when we arrived, but we still did enjoy the terrace and the sunset on the warmer nights. The bedding wasn't the best, sadly (squeaky beds). The floor wasn't clean when we arrived (but everything else was).

Good location, we could go down to the beach by foot and observe little penguins They asked to have the dishwasher emptied before we left, which I thought was very demanding considering that we pay for cleaning and about 400€ a night … surely they could empty the clean dishwasher, all other places do this

Lovely and clean with great sized rooms. Very well equipped in all rooms including cleaning materials. Fantastic location with beautiful view across the sea. Bonus for us was the closeness of a koala next to the house which was a great experience as we are from the UK. N/a

• Linda (10/5): Excellent stay - I want to live there! - The property was amazing. Lovely kitchen and dining area, separate lounge, two bedrooms one en-suite. Both the bathrooms were luxurious, extremely well kitted out for self catering. Emu Bay is lovely with a huge beach to walk on there is a little beach van which does food and drinks Thursday to Sunday until end of April. The fishing trip with Emu Bay fishing was enjoyed and the Lavender Farm does amazing food. It would be nice if shower gel was provided and if the tv in the dining area could bd fixed - we also had a problem with the WiFi on the last night.

• Kevin (10/5): Home comforts in Emu Bay - This is a very comfortable house with great views of Emu Bay. Two bedrooms (both a good size with very comfortable beds and good bed linen), one en-suite plus a bathroom (both with good size showers). The kitchen had everything you could need and more - even an air fryer in the cupboard - lots of crockery and cutlery, cooking pots and utensils, roasting trays etc. Two comfortable sitting areas and a complete wall of windows overlooking the bay with sliding doors opening out on to a terrace with more chairs to relax in. Overall, a perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace, quiet, great views and self-sufficiency, within just a short walk to the beach and an easy drive to everything on Kangaroo Island. Everything was great.

Not the owner issue- but the property manager of this house. Ran out of hot water on the second night. No hot water available to even do dishes or use gas top to cook. Very frustrating, 2 gas bottles empty. Messaged property manager and got an apology no refund of any sort. When you comply with the rules and then get not much back. Very disappointing. Small things like adding salt & pepper. One television has no antenna cord to use, so couldn’t watch the news on television. With Flat batteries. It’s the small things that would make this accomodation 10/10. Sad when you have to heat the kettle to rinse off in the shower, just to warm up.

All the amenities, floor heating etc. the layout was perfect and it was all wheelchair accessible and disability friendly for me personally. The views were incredible. It has become one of my most favourite places to stay in the world. We were desperate for spare towels as I am disabled and we had two of us washing our hair. It also would have been fantastic to be able to bring my assistance dog.

Fabulous for two couples, two rooms with extra large beds with one room having ensuite & also a separate bathroom plus two living spaces. A lovely decking to enjoy the stunning views of Emu Bay. That he would love to live in this exact place, if he could replicate the layout and design it was perfect in every way. It was unique and different to other home designs. The builder and owner or the home. Did an emmculate job on this house.
• Lauren (9/5): A Stunning little beach house - This property was absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated. It was extremely clean, and the beds were really comfy. The linen, towels and kitchenware were of high quality. The property has 2 separate living areas, 2 bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms which we loved. There was no outdoor table and chairs, so we had to bring our own trestle table and deck chairs. We feel the price was a little too high for what you are getting, especially if you have multiple guests staying. The vacant block next door also had a caravan with people staying there, and multiple cars parked on it which was a bit annoying.

Underfloor heating in bathrooms would be lovely in winter! It had everything that we needed and more for comfortable stay. Communication was also great. • Rob (9/5): Lovely location, great view and nearly new house - all good. - No breakfast supplied. Some aspects of cleaning - floor and upper cupboard handles and doors. We had issues with the hot water and main water supply pump on the last day but this is just a maintenance issue and should not bother other stayers.

• Leigh (9/5): Relaxing and enjoyable accomodation in a peaceful setting - Bright and airy, clean, new house that is tastefully and comfortably furnished with a view over Emu Bay. There is a broad outdoor decked area overlooking the sea. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. Beds are large and comfortable with lovely bathrooms. Two suggestions - bedside lamps would be a great addition, also a coffee table, but these are minor points
