- Sarah (10/5): -
- Amee (10/5): - Facilities were amazing, great location
- Terry (10/5): Peace , beauty and nature abounds - It was all great. Quiet, pretty, comfortable . Short walk to dog friendly lake. Free use of Canoe/Kayak and equipment.
Very comfortable bed, lounge etc. Great closed in backyard for Fido. Trees all round. Private Only thing I could fault was the electric cook top. Only because I am used to gas.
- Roslyn (9/5): - Location is excellent. Driveway was steep, narrow and led to parking of loose stones.
- David (9/5): -
- Jonathan (8/5): We were after a little getaway with our pooch and this was perfect. - Peace and quiet, views, walking to the lake, comfy bed, pet friendly Screen door doesn’t work properly and it is used all the time.
- Wendy (9/5): - Views and Location fabulous, clean and comfortable place to stay with everything you need.
- Nancy (9/5): - This cozy cottage is great for a school holiday trip. The location is fantastic, offering stunning lake views right from the hammock on the front deck—perfect for relaxing. I didn’t have time to do any research prior to the trip. When we got there we were glad to know there were plenty of activities nearby to enjoy, and Ken’s guide book and weblink were so thorough! Also he ‘s incredibly helpful and always provided prompt answers and solutions to any questions we had.
- Rob (8/5): Value for money with great view. - Location Small non-shedding cavoodle should be able to stay inside.
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Extension cords running across the floor.
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Our week of holiday was absolutely amazing. House was clean, equipped with everything needed to enjoy the view of lakes. Short drive to the beach, you can even walk there . I think we will come again.
- Rose (9/5): Superb -
- Hui (10/5): Exceptional - My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Lakeview Cottage! This charming cottage was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. It was peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place to relax, yet still conveniently close to Forster Shopping Village. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would love to return! Highly recommend!!!
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - It was a cozy cottage that both my partner and I adored, it will be a definite choice for our next trip to forster
- Diane (7/5): Was relaxing nice view - Accomodation was good nice and cosy Wasn’t close to beach or fishing by walking distance I mean what we payed should have a pool and not close to shops
- Youngmi (10/5): Exceptional - Really close to beautiful lake. Perfect place for unwinding & reflect. House is clean & comfortable 😌 👌 None
- Zigurds (9/5): A nice restful quiet location away from the busy centre, with all the facilities you need. - A quiet location with a nice view of the lake
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Thank you. We enjoyed our stay. None
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (10/5): Quite location with lovely view of Lake Wallis. Short drive to Forster and beach areas. - Quiet location. Lovely view of Lake Wallis from front deck with seating area. Cottage had secure backyard for our dog. Main bedroom had work desk and WiFi to allow work from home. Friendly hosts live next door. Steep drive way, 2 lounge couches very soft to sit on and hard beds.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional - The electric blankets, the location, the cooking utensils. Need a drying rack next to sink for plates and cutlery etc, and bigger tv would be great
- Christian (8/5): Nice self contained cottage but mosquitoes are a massive issue - Was a nice place to stay very well equipped as a self contained cottage had everything you need to cook up a meal very impressed.
Place is close to Forster
Nice and quiet and very friendly owner Lots of mosquitoes day and night 24/7 could not enjoy the balcony with view or going outside the property, to eat or have a drink or bbq with out getting eaten alive.
Even with bushman’s spray on the body , still got bitten and wife is allergic to mosquitoes she welted up.
Gap between the entry door and flys screen when closed so mosquitoes get into the house and eat you alive as well while you sleep even if you spray the whole place before you go to bed
Had to close all windows and doors to reduce the mosquitoes entering maybe a zap light inside and out side would help a little , felt like I was locked up inside due to mosquitoes besides that I would give it 100%

- Paola (9/5): Lovely relaxing time with my adult kids. - The frangipanis were in bloom; the evening chorus of kookaburras was wonderful, the changing mood of the lake view from the verandah; the hammock in afternoon dappled light. Well equipped kitchen. Puzzles on rainy day. The driveway is a little narrow. Not really a negative though. Lovely stay.

- Robert (9/5): Had a lovely, tranquil stay at Lakeview Cottage! - A lovely location, with beautiful views over the lake. Loved sitting outside for breakfast (listening to the birds chirping was delightful), dinner (taking in the gorgeous sunsets) and lounging in the hammock soaking in the afternoon sun.
Check in/out was seemless and well-communicated, and Ken (host) was very responsive during our stay.
Was great to have laundry on-site, including outdoor hanger for drying.
Overall, the property was clean, tidy and very comfy. It was nice to be located outside of the Forster city-centre, but easy to get ino town via car (10-15 min drive) or bus (didn't use, but it seemed convenient enough). Only minor "complaint" would be the exclusion of beach towels. Fortunately, we were able to borrow some from nearby relatives, but for those travelling to the Forster-area and looking to lounge on the beach, a set of towels would probably be appreciated. Having said that - Ken (host) was very responsive during our stay and could have probably provided beach towels had we asked.
- Charlie (9/5): Fantastic location and outstanding value for money. Thanks. - Great spot in a fabulous location. Excellent coffee right next door. Hosts were super helpful. Nothing.
- Jim (8/5): Very good - No breakfast
- Melissa (10/5): Beautiful stay - Beautiful view, lovely cottage The stay wasn’t long enough lol
- Robyn (5/5): Passable - The location was good. The view was amazing. Unfortunately the shower was over a small bath which was unsuitable for me as I have very bad knees. Because of this I had to cancel and go elsewhere. Ken was very understanding and even tried to find us accommodation elsewhere.
- Lucy (10/5): Beautiful sunset views/ water views - We Had such an amazing stay past 4 days were absolutely beautiful! Ken was so accommodating and welcoming !
Very cute beach vibe cottage, it had everything we needed and more! clean and tidy and comfortable bed with the electric blanket 1000/10 !! It was amazing to watch the sunset every night!! Definitely will be back again. Highly recommend🫶🏻 The fact we had to leave so soon 🤣
- Anonymous (10/5): Beautiful quiet cottage in a lovely location. - Immaculately clean cottage in a lovely quiet spot. Great views over the lake from the deck. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were great - would definitely stay here again!
- Natasha (8/5): Very family friendly - I liked that the property was kid and pet friendly, the location and view was amazing. The backyard was beautiful and safe for the kids to play in and the dog to run around and secure. It was spacious, clean and felt very homely Everything else was great, wifi not so great

- Manh (10/5): very quiet, clean , close to everything, excellent view to the lake - beautiful view nil
- Andrew (7/5): Fantastic view well presented - Location was great neighbours were noisy because it was very hot that weekend we had to keep the windows open and we could hear the neighbours talking till midnight AirCon in the bedroom would fix that problem Very small TV, lounge was not comfortable , I would suggest they do something about the ants on the front balcony because the view is fantastic but your could not sit and enjoy it without having ants crawling all over you t
