- Mardi (10/5): Nice town, lovely historic house , will spend time there again! - I felt I was visiting a friend’s home -comfortable -and care has been taken to make it a tastefully designed, well-lived home. My stay was short so it was nice to be near the walkable main drag with all the restaurants, but a longer stay in the summer would be perfect for using the well equipped kitchen and patio to cook some meals with local produce after a day at the nearby beaches . It took a while to log onto WiFi -the host explained that was common problem . Easily solved —It only meant a little time in finding a place in my unit closer to the router in another part of the house. After that it was fine!
- Heather (10/5): A fun Christmas get away - Location was great. We stayed with family and used all three units. Very convenient
- Franco Vela (10/5): Lovely place in a perfect location. The host was super kind and responsive. - The location was perfect and the host was super responsive. Not much.

- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Exploring beautiful country back roads and beaches would be my #1 comment. There were lots of quaints shops . I loved the decor of the cottage and the comfortable beds. The huge country kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the library of books and puzzles. It felt like a comfy home away from home. The host Susan made me feel like I was her friend. She was so helpful but gave us complete privacy. We stayed a whole week and it wasn't too long. It was such a relaxing get away. That's tough. Having to leave and go back to a busy life. I would of liked to open my bedroom window at night but it had a window air conditioner in it. It was a heat wave so we really did need the cool air. The kitchen couch was cute but not comfy.
- Olivier (9/5): A lovely four-night stay on beautiful Prince Edward Island. - Our host, Susan, was very friendly. She warmly welcomed us and introduced us to her lovely home. The house is old but full of charm, with two spacious bedrooms, a large kitchen, and a comfortable living room. The unit is spread over two floors, providing plenty of space to relax. We stayed in the middle unit (number 6), which is flanked by two other units and has access to a nice terrace. We stayed for four nights on the beautiful island of Prince Edward County. Nothing major—just that the back part of the living room is a bit dark, but it didn’t affect our overall enjoyment of the space.
- Nancy (8/5): Very good -
- Gregory (10/5): Exceptional -

- Ronaldo (10/5): Exceptional - The decor, the space, the location
- Madeleine (9/5): Superb - Very accessible to town, lots of living space and included everything you need to make it feel like home
- Patrick (9/5): A brilliant stay - A beautiful house . Very comfortable in a great location with easy access to shops restaurants etc. I would have liked the property to be more secure with proper locks
- Deirdre (5/5): House was clean and great location. Deficiencies were not insurmountable - Living area down stairs was lovely and comfortable. Good location close to restaurants. Nice neighborhood A huge issue was that one adult couple had to walk through a second adult couple’s bedroom to get to the bathroom! This was not made clear prior to booking. A dresser door was not attached at all and kept falling off. One bedroom door could not be closed as a part was missing. Had to use a weight to keep door closed when we were in the room
- Clo (9/5): Centrally located house in Picton - The proximity to the main street and the grocery store.
The large equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
The charm and history of the house. For a longer stay, washer, dryer would be a bonus option
but we didn't need it.
- Katie (10/5): Excellent location and comfortable stay! -
- David (8/5): Very good - A great central location with easy access to restaurants and to the stores if eating out wasn't on the agenda for the day 👍Stone Carriage House makes an excellent base camp for those looking to explore the countryside but wanting to enjoy some home comforts in the evenings. The weather was uncooperative
- Buckle (7/5): Good - Location
- Angela (9/5): We were in Picton for Canada day. The home was quiet, beautiful and beyond our expectations. - It was listed as a dog friendly property. We felt very welcome and there were little things like a fenced yard and outside garbage for poop cleanup, that made it easier for us. There was also a wonderful dog park, really close by. We had a great time and I would definitely return there. The property manager was wonderful and went above and beyond. We loved everything.
- Janice (9/5): Superb -
- Linh (9/5): Superb -
- Taylor (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (10/5): Friendly, secure with good choice of restaurants. Also to get to Bloomfield & Wellington, Sandb - Location was excellent, easy walk to main road.n
Restaurants were also great with many choices . We have no complaints !!
- Anna (9/5): Superb - We loved old stone house, interior design, a lot of space, kitchen, ability to grill and eat outside. The host was very nice and pleasant. We would prefer a bigger garden space.
- Brad (9/5): Wonderful accommodation, central to many - Lots of room, lots of towels, comfy beds.
A Sandbanks day pass for our use! This is a tiny thing…
There was coffee, filters, sweetner,
and creamers (in the freezer - great idea!).
We missed having sugar
- Pat (9/5): It was comfortable and the perfect location for touring around Prince Edward County. - The location was perfect...within walking distance of downtown Picton. Susan, the host met us when we arrived and was very pleasant. She showed us the rooms, etc. It was difficult to get wifi but we didn't really need it. Otherwise a beautiful historical home.
- Selene (10/5): The best experience possible - BBQ, air conditioning everywhere in the house, patio, two bathrooms, etc. way more than expected!
Right in the middle of town, pleasant to walk, many restaurants near!
- Jacob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Alvaro (7/5): Good -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sameen (9/5): A fantastic period row house, clean and well maintained. Susan was very helpful. - The location was fantastic. Very central and accessible to Main Street shops and restaurants. The skylights in the master bedroom are a wonderful feature, but electronic blinds would take it to the next level.
- Julian (9/5): Beautiful ancestral stone house right next to downtown. - Beautiful ancestral stone house.
Right next to downtown Picton, walking distance from restaurants, cute shops, bars, supermarket, etc.
15 min by car from the beach at the Sandbanks Provincial Park.
The owner provided a free day pass and gave valuable advise about reservations, and was always present for anything we needed. The only thing is the church 2 blocks away tolling its bell every hour, starting 7am and until 10pm. It woke us up every day.
Nothing is perfect, but anything I did not like was certainly minor, not worth mentioning.
- Pedro (8/5): Very good -
- Ernst (9/5): Superb -
- Diane (10/5): It was clean inviting and conformable 😊 - Back door was stuck we had to unscrewed the door handle.
The shower curtain fell off the ceiling.
- Robert (10/5): Lovely house in a central location. - It is a lovely place to stay. Historic but with all the modern conveniences you would want. The host was very nice and provided everything you might need.
It was very clean and decorated like a real home.
- Anna (9/5): Excellent - The spaciousness, the furnishings, the fully loaded kitchen and the coffee! The shower
- Maria (9/5): A great stay a great host. - Very spacious living quarters down stairs. Very well equipped. A bit warm upstairs in the heatwave.
- Kirwin (10/5): Perfect accommodations and host - Exceptional host. Met all of our need and more! n/a
- Ciara (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful, spacious place to stay that is centrally located. It was wonderful.
- Diane (10/5): Perfect location for a getaway. - Perfect location. Lovely furnishings. Would stay here again. Thank you Susan for all the little extras. The cookies waiting for us and the dog bed for Lady was so appreciated.
- Natalie (10/5): loved staying here would stay again - beautiful and cosy everything was great
- Kimberley (9/5): A wonderful place to stay to enjoy Prince Edward County -
- David (4/5): We would never have booked this place if we knew the problems beforehand. Beware! Bookings.com - Patio off the kitchen - eating outdoors
Kitchen was well appointed, good quality pots & pans.
Nice taste in art work on the walls for the most part.
Plenty of hot water, quickly available. Strong mould smell when entering the unit, smoke alarm not mounted on the ceiling in the kitchen, questionable wiring (extension cords & exposed cords powering overhead lighting & air conditioner in bedroom, positioning of air conditioners in windows made it difficult in one instance & impossible in the other to open the windows for fresh air, no screens on the windows that were openable.
Difficult to operate TV & no instructions. Also the remote batteries needed to be replaced.
One corner of the kitchen had significant water damage which had not been repaired. A poster had been hung on the wall to semi-disguise the damage.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (10/5): excellent milieu - 19th century charm steep stairs to bedrooms/ bathroom
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judy (9/5): Nice accommodations, great location, definitely would recommend property to others. - The accommodations were very nice, clean, and spacious. The location was very close to town and not to far from Sandbanks National Park. Somehow I didn’t realize it was pet friendly. My daughter has allergies and had an allergic reaction after using one of the blankets.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property with garden and BBQ. The kitchen was well equipped. Host very friendly and helpful.
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - The host was welcoming and very helpful.
