Guest Reviews
- Bryan (10/5): Superior Kyneton stay - Central Kyneton location. Historic feel with modern facilities. Easy access to cottage via lock key. Clear communication from host. Generous breakfast provisions provided. Cottage was warm with multiple spaces to relax. Close by to many coffee and eating options. Thank you. All good
- Cathie (8/5): Great! - Position, cleanliness and comfortable.
- Nicholas (9/5): -
- Sue (9/5): We had a lovely relaxing stay. - The property was ideal for us. Very central and easy for us to walk around town. It was very cold on the day we arrived and once we worked out the heating system and turned the electric blanket on we were lovely and cosy. We really appreciated all the food that the host provided. We were visiting friends who were having a big party,so didn’t have time to shop. The only downside to the property was no WiFi and poor phone reception. But it wasn’t too much trouble once we got used to it. No WiFi
- Louise (10/5): -
- Jim (8/5): Had a great time overall. - Excellent selection of food, well equipped kitchen, great heating, perfect Piper St location (we went to the market). Great quirky artwork. Bed was a little uncomfortable (rolling towards the middle), leather couch also. No WiFi
- Olivia (9/5): Superb -
- Charlie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is beautiful with interesting artwork. We were provided with a wide variety of breakfast provisions including fresh fruit and Easter eggs. The bedrooms were lovely with comfy beds. A delightful place to stay in a perfect location close to shops galleries and restaurants.
- Maxine (8/5): Location is good for exploring Piper Street and Kyneton - Beds were comfortable and the breakfast provisions were brilliant. It was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was well equipped, if you wished to eat in. Location was excellent as we dined at Midnight Starling for our 31st wedding anniversary. The bathroom was tiny. With the cottage being on Piper Street, the noise from the traffic going to and from the Calder Freeway during the night via Piper Street made it very difficult to sleep as the bedrooms are at the front of the property.
- Amy (10/5): A lovely cosy stay in a cute cottage! - A great cosy cottage right near the shops. Lots of tasty food left that could be used for brekkie! Would be great if there was a second bathroom but this was as advertised so no issue.
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (9/5): Cute cottage in the heart of Kyneton - The cottage is located in the heart of Kyneton close to shops and restaurants. It has been tastefully restored and is well appointed. The hosts left an array of breakfast items which was greatly appreciated. Everything was fine.

Safe off street parking and enjoyable breakfast. Hosts provided clear instructions and were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again. Nothing.

- Jenny (10/5): Brilliant - just wish we could have stayed longer ! - Breakfast supplied had everything anyone could require - varying dietary options available, great kitchen facilities and all in a cosy little cottage. Bedrooms were very comfortable with ac and heating options and we were more than satisfied with our stay.

- John (10/5): Great. -
- Louisa (10/5): Great location, perfect stay. - Cathy was such a thoughtful host - Kyneton was having issues with their water supply and she filled up two large containers of drinkable water for us to use. The house was also really lovely - full of great art, clean, comfortable and with every little extra you’d want (electric blankets, soft towels, lots of breakfast things plus milk, bread and fruit). We were two couples in town for a wedding and it was perfect.
- Penelope (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable historic cottage. - This cottage has lovely renovations, was very clean and great art around it. What else was cool was that Cathy left a nice breakfast for us to have. Cathy was very communicative also, in terms of texting us about arrival time and where to find the keys. It was nice and warm too and well worth the money. We found the architecture and furniture and fixtures really lovely too. A nice place to rest and sleep in a sleepy town. Loved it.
- Belinda (7/5): we had a lovely stay, great location, nice clean cosy house - great location, cosy, clean, new kitchen facilities lounge suite, would be better with a chaise lounge that accommodates four people to sit on an relax. the current lounge isn’t comfortable and to small.
no wifi facilities as phone service in the area was really poor

- Philip (10/5): perfect break in perfect setting. - Gorgeous old cottage in absolutely lovely country town. Charming off the scale. Hosts Cathy & Red could not be more helpful. Beds and pillows like sleeping on clouds. Soft, fluffy towels. heaven. nothing.
