Guest Reviews
- Lynette (8/5): - The location was great. The accommodation was good and well presented. We were only told on the morning of arrival that the water was tank water and not safe to drink and the oven was not in use. When we inquired further about the oven we were told one story by the managing agent and a different story by the actual property owner.
- Kadari (2/5): That property shooould not be listed at all. - Couldnt find anything good to write abut the property. From our point of view, that property should not list in for rental facility at all. It is too small and it missing few basic facilitite. We visited in a summer weekend ant the property doesnt have any fan/Ac in the bedrooms. All of us had to stay on loung whole time and couldt sleep at night att all because of the temperature. Trust me, do not rent taht place unless u want to waste ur money and time and suffer also. The property management team even WORST. Very poor communication and they dont care about you. - Michelle (10/5): Fantastic!!!!!!! - Lovely property in a beautiful quiet location. Lovely staff . Very very clean No dislikes
- Pelenaise (9/5): Memorable, peaceful & Cosy - It was situated in the beautiful heart of Hunter Valley in Ellalong. It showcased the beautiful landscape, peace and abundance of Northern side of NSW.
The open space the cottage sits in is amazing, it is small and comfortable, has everything you need for a getaway. Myself and my little family enjoyed our stay that we extended an extra day! Do not miss out on this beautiful farm stay in beautiful Ellalong, Cessnock is only a short drive away as well as the wildlife park.
It felt very homey and cosy, and waking up to nothing but nature was the plus. None, We were very happy with our stay.
- Kelly (8/5): Lovely little house & it was good for two nights. - It was in a lovely spot & the air-con was a Godsend. The views were amazing as was the space outside. It was a lovely little house. The vanity in the bathroom was very small and for a family of five, there was just no room to put anything. Additionally, the lounge only had seating for three people, not five. There was a dining table behind the lounge but there wasn't enough room for us as a family to all sit on the lounge. There was no long hanging space for pants & dresses so we had to hang clothes on the wall hooks throughout the house.
- Igkor (5/5): Passable -
- Marc (10/5): If you are looking for a peaceful spot you just found it. - A lovely tranquil spot.
You could sit out on the deck and watch not much happen and enjoy every moment.
It has everything you could need for a stay save a washing machine. Could do with some shade for the deck
Walls are very thin.
- Haley (9/5): Superb -
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristine (9/5): Had a great stay. Thanks! - Small but nice cottage. Enjoyed our 1 night stay. It’s a bit cold during winter night but we had been given extra blankets. No heaters in the room only the living room.
- Lori (9/5): Comfy, great for families. - Small but comfy and perfect for our family.
Had all the creature comforts Wasn’t aware that it was so close to main owner’s property
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy had everything you could possibly need
- Brian (8/5): Enjoyable pleasant 1 night stay in country setting close to all that the Hunter has to offer - Beautiful country location in a smallish comfortable cabin, perfect for a family. New, clean comfortable furnishings with everything you would need to stay longer, continental breakfast a plus. We were staying for one night only for a concert and this worked perfectly as the bus leaves from Ellalong Pub. Would recommend. Directions to the property could have been clearer and we couldn't connect to the wifi. Bring milk for the breakfast cereal as the milk supplied is enough for tea/coffees. Am sure better value for money when not staying for a concert when accomodation choices are limited.
- Heath (8/5): Gorgeous little cottage. Would recommend it to people for a little holiday escape. - It was a lovely little self-contained tiny house. We happily fit 5 people with no issues. We enjoyed the complimentary bread, chocolates and spreads. So appreciated the extra effort with champagne and balloon to welcome my partner for his bday.
The surrounding location was gorgeous. Loved looking at the horses and admiring the stars. I would have appreciated if we were warned prior to arriving that the water wasn't for drinking. Although there were complimentary bottled water there, this wasn't enough for 5, so we had to make an extra trip into town for water.
The wifi was also extremely dodgy. The location was a bit inconvenient in terms of transport. We ended up having to uber back from town because shuttles wouldn't take us that far out of town.
- Himal (9/5): Superb -
- Jitka (10/5): Peaceful, idyllic country location. - Great to have complimentary, continental breakfast. Lovely country views in peaceful, idyllic location. Very cosy and clean cottage. The two speed humps on the way to the cottage were too high for our car, “scratching“ underneath our car every time we went travelling in and out. We didn’t realise that access to the property would be unpleasant with our car.
