- John (7/5): Good value, but be aware of the shortcomings if less physically mobile. - Very convenient location for the mountain train, for up (we did once only) and down (every day). Very good, modern kitchen, with every facility and gadget you could want (except only one oven/microwave). Outdoor equipment was copious too, and the washing/drying facilities were excellent. The approach road is hair-raising, with crumbling edges; we only did it in the daytime and would not want to do it at night. The interior stairs have no handrail, and the change in floor level on the lower floor was not marked and caught us out on several occasions. The garage was very difficult to enter/exit without helping eyes, and the sloped path down to the house was hazardous in the wet (although there was a good handrail).
- Christine (10/5): A great location and a really lovely property - Clean and beautifully presented, there was everything you could need for a stay here. The view from the terrace was stunning and the garden ideal for sitting and enjoying the surroundings Nothing
- Mark (10/5): Overall, it was a wonderful stay that exceeded expectations with a few very minor inconveniences. - The location is exceptional, about 3 miles up a switchback road from Montreux. The view of Montreux is beautiful as well as the surrounding countryside albeit slightly impeded by powerlines. If you don't have a car, you basically have a private train station as it is just a few hundred feet with hourly service. There is also a separate funicular that runs every 15 minutes but this does require an uphill walk of about 3/4 mile.
The house is older but has been nicely renovated and has a storage room for bikes or skis that also has a washer dryer. As with most accomodations in Europe, you do need to figure out the settings for the oven, coffee maker, washer/dryer, etc. but instruction manuals were provided. The cleaning could have been a bit better and we had to make up the downstairs beds including putting on the sheets. There was a long checklist of items upon checkout including defrosting the freezer which required some attention to avoid flooding.

Exceptional views, really loved it here. The property was literally a few steps from the station of the cog railway taking us up & down the mountain, to & from Montreaux itself. Loved it all.
