• Angela (10/5): A home away from home! - We absolutely loved our stay here! Such a cute little holiday house, the owners have made sure it has everything you could possibly need! Beds were comfortable and plenty of room to store your stuff. A home away from home! Very easy to communicate with owner Marie too. Perfect all round. The only negative was our hire car couldn't fit in the carport, but not a big deal at all.
• Steve (9/5): Host was very warm and welcoming. The property represented great value and was well equippted/clean - Location and cleanliness were excellent The third bedroom was in an alcove with no door (fold down bed), so best to see this as a two-bedroom property.

• Linda (9/5): In a word...wonderful! - The property is in a lovely quiet location that also happens to be very close to my family. Everything you could possibly need is provided, the kitchen even has enough cookware to prepare and store "real" meals. My only suugestion for improvement would be the lounge seating. The chairs and couches are quite firm, I prefer to have a bit more snuggly furniture.
• Jules (10/5): Amazing stay - The host was great. We were close to most things. Lovely area House was comfortable, with everything you needed. The parking was too narrow for the 8 seater to be undercover.

It is in a very pretty town, and the location suited us as we were attending a gymnastics competition, which was close by. Host has excellent communication, and we would definitely stay here again. Wonderful local neighbourhood with marina, village markets and , island views, mangroves and much more. The home has everything you could ever need and the beds are so comfortable. • Erica (10/5): A lovely and comfortable seaside escape with easy access into Brisbane City. - A beautifully furnished holiday home that had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The home is in a beautiful location and is conveniently within walking distance from playgrounds, cafes, restaurants, and shops. We especially enjoyed the coastal walk and taking in the local markets.
• Pier (10/5): Relaxing and reviving - After the hectic pace of the Gold Coast it was an oasis of calm and quiet. The Holiday House was well equipped for our stay. Marie and her daughter Aurelie went out of their way to return my iPad after I inadvertently left it behind. I’m very appreciative of their efforts. Lota was a great place to stay, nearby Manly shops had everything we needed for a group of 60 pluses. N/a
• Timothy (10/5): Hopefully can stay here again when we next come to visit family in Brisbane. - Extremely clean and hosts had been very thoughtful in supplying extras eg teabags, milk, salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc. House was basic but extremely comfortable. Easy and pleasant walk into Manly which had some great coffee shops. We didnt use the bikes or kayak, but great that they were available. Bed was very comfortable, but I would prefer a larger size.

• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful coastal cottage - Lovely comfortable house in a great location. Well stocked with everything you need and great value for money. Marie is a wonderful host and went out of her way to make sure she could return a few things to us that we accidentally left there.

• Angelina (10/5): Excellent stay, comfortable and needs totally satisfied. - Marie has a great little house very close to the water, nice neighbourhood, quite and relaxing. The Queen bed was super comfortable, there are fans in every room, air-conditioning in main bedroom and kitchen/dining which I used every day. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils, crockery, pots and pans you would ever need. Plenty of towels and a massive washing machine. The backyard is great if you want to go outdoors and relax, the vibe of the property is very relaxing and decor inside lovely. Marie is a great host and I will definitely go back and stay again if the property is available. Carpets could do with a refresh. The stovetop and oven are a little dated (not fan forced) but works well.

Enough space and the right cooking things to make a nice meal . Also we did the park run around the bay on Saturday morning - so many dog walkers , runners , cyclists out and about for sunrise .

• Nicole (10/5): Perfect getaway - What a gorgeous little place to stay! I stayed with my mum and toddler to relax for 5 days and it was perfect. Quiet, clean and very spacious for a smaller house. The owners are beautiful people and helpful in any way possible, they even woke up at 5:30am to help carry our bags to the car! They truely want to ensure the happiness of their guests. Everything was great but if I had to say something it would be that there was no blender in the kitchen. We ate in every meal so it would have been handy but I'm in no way complaining.

• Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and exceptionally well equipped. Perfect location for us with family living 2 minutes away. Lovely walk down to Manly with lots of facilities on hand.
• Stephanie (9/5): Beautiful house in a lovely location. - The property was lovely, well presented, very nicely furnished and comfortable. There was adequate facilities including a washing machine and enough room for us all while being affordable and not cramped. Marie the owner is lovely, she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had the right sleeping stuff for our kids (i.e cot and railing). The only two ways to improve and they're quite minor are to perhaps install a better extractor fan in the bathroom as there was evidence of mould (which had been cleaned) from moisture on the bathroom ceiling and to update the blinds as they're a strangulation risk for toddlers (like my crazy kid). We did find a work around for the blinds but nonetheless I was a bit nervous.
