- Tunnock (9/5): Amazing and a wonderful time - The location was awesome Bit unsure about the compost toilet haha
- Betty (9/5): Superb - Everything Nothing
- Jeff (9/5): Tiny Nanook; The Country Experience - Great location. Very scenic and refreshing. Lots of fresh country air. Excellent directions on how to get there. Mayfield Gardens near Oberon, Mt Vic flicks, fire pit at night, new walking track near Lithgow. Kangaroos, kookaburras and galahs at Tiny Nanook. We found the air conditioner was not powerful enough on its highest cooling setting, in order to cool the area where the double bed is located. We found this on the day it became a lot hotter than the predicted temperature.

- Erin (10/5): A fantastic hidden gem amongst the valley with stunning views, Australian wildlife and peace and serenity. - A perfect retreat in Kanimbla for couples who want to escape. A stunning location, comfy amenities and a lovely, welcoming host. The only possible downside is if you have sneaky knees that don’t quite do steep steps to the loft and the low ceiling to get into bed. But hardly a dislike because it makes it all a part of the adventure!
- Casey (10/5): Exceptional - The tiny nanook was INCREDIBLE. The photos are amazing but they don’t even do it justice.
The house itself is so cosy and quaint whilst still being spacious enough to relax in.
The area is stunning and so peaceful. We wandered down to the creek which was a beautiful walk overlooking the rolling hills.
We also made use of the firepit which was a great addition!
Sue also gave us some fresh eggs and a bottle of wine. Absolutely wonderful hospitality and I can’t wait to come back. Nothing! This place was perfect.
- Gemma (10/5): A true get-away from the 'always on' hamster wheel of life - Wonderful place to stay! A very easy check in/check out process. Perfect privacy, and great communication from Sue with helpful information/ travel tips on how to reach the property too. The kind little gestures - so thoughtful! Kangaroos visited each morning. The stars are so clear and abundant, which make for great photo/star gazing :)
If you're looking for a get-away, to help you detox from phones and 'always on' hamster wheel, this is the place! :) There is nothing I did not like. Visiting in May was perfect as there was no extreme heat and no bugs/flies etc. The only downside is I wish I booked my stay for longer! ha (I booked for 3 days/2 nights)
- James (10/5): A beautiful, peaceful stay. Ideal for a couple to get away from everything - Location was beautiful
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful peaceful location.
The tiny home is comfortable and has everything you need.
Loved the outdoor hammock and firepit.
Thanks for the welcoming gift.

- Devika (7/5): Had a great time with my special one.😊 - Peace and quiet place. Everything was good.
- Madeleine (9/5): A perfect getaway - Beautiful location, amazing wildlife, great setup and very convenient kitchen with anything you could need to cook at home. The compost toilet is very easy to use and the shower has good water pressure! The bed is a bit small for tall folks but the rest of the space is very spacious for a tiny house!
- Sarina (10/5): Overall rest of the thing was amazing. The place was so so clean and everything you need is available there. The view fr - Very clean tidy and everything was available. Toilet was little bit weird as system was different than normal toilet and also we didn’t used the shower at all for three days as all the water we use from kitchen goes to bathrooms drain and looked like it will overflow out of it bathroom to the floor from there. We were very scared to use bathroom but honestly its not an issue cause it will definitely be fixed😄
- Rob (8/5): We had a wonderful few days but just be aware there aren't any shops or restaurants in the area - The location was unique, beautiful views, quiet, abundance of kangaroos and birds.
- Lachlan (10/5): Cosy and private - It's very quiet and isolated. With many kangaroos and hiking trials to do so it was perfect for us
- Victoria (10/5): Amazing place to unplug and reconnect - Amazing place! The cabin is beautiful and has everything you might need for a good getaway. Location is perfect, and the host was very nice and always responsive. Nothing
- Catherine (10/5): A luxurious tiny home experience in a tranquil and beautiful setting - This was our first tiny home experience and it truly exceeded our expectations. The setting is tranquil and we were greeted with fresh eggs and freshly picked flowers. Everything felt high quality, the space is ingeniously used so that we never felt squished and Sue had thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, milk, condiments, oil, herbs and plenty of crockery. Throughout our stay Sue was a very easy host to communicate and very responsive.
We enjoyed a beautifully set up campfire and somehow managed to sit in every spot of the tiny home and surrounds. The walk to the river is steep but not to be missed! We had it all to ourselves with the exception of a visiting turtle. Despite having such a short stay, we left feeling relaxed and pampered by our escape.
- Tian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgie (9/5): Superb - Sue was a great host and easy to communicate with. Tiny Nanook was in great condition and had all of the comforts you could need. The location is perfect and with awesome views. It's only 20minutes drive to amazing hikes and restaurants around Blackheath.
- Emmaeliza (10/5): Peaceful, Relaxed & Breathtaking - I booked this property for my 30th to just getaway from everything, I have to say it was worth it! So Beautiful and Peaceful.
There’s nothing I could fault about my Stay here.
I really enjoyed and loved my stay from The location and all the details put in place in this property.
It had everything I needed so I didn’t need to go the shops to buy things as it was all provided in this property.
Upon arrival there was Wine & eggs which I enjoyed during my stay.
Big Thank you Sue for such Exceptional Service.
I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Peaceful getaway.
I would definitely book again.
- Dimitra (10/5): Exceptional - Unique experience
staying in this little cute house in the valley. Great host. Great opportunity to feel more connected with nature and enjoy the mesmerising night sky
- Sarah (8/5): Lovely and tranquil - Location good, provision of eggs good, perhaps more breakfast or bacon with it would be nice.
Appreciated the wine on arrival. Only enough wood for 1 night, had to pay for more for subsequent nights. Be great if it was included.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Olivia (10/5): The perfect place to just enjoy nature while having creature comforts. - It was so cute, so well put together, and the property itself had such beautiful views. Everything was so peaceful
- Jasmine (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful - Everything was lovely! We were greeted with fresh eggs and a bottle of wine on our arrival. The hosts have definitely considered everything to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. Not a lot of headspace above the bed but just takes some getting used to
- Colin (10/5): location superb, accommodation spotless and although “tiny” had everything you would require, host informative, attentiv - exactly as described, perfect nothing
- Aaron (10/5): Great Location - Great location where you can be at one with nature. Sue was great in communicating with us. Would definitely recommend! Toilet takes some getting used to but that is only a minor inconvenience.
- Kristen (9/5): Superb - I loved the tiny details of the house… it is very homely and has everything you need and more. The host even left a bottle of red wine and some eggs & milk for us. I was worried the cooking facilities wouldn’t be good enough but the induction cooker was amazing! I didn’t love the ladder up to the bed as it was a bit of a pain to get up and down in the middle of the night if you need to go to bathroom. Although that was also part of the fun of being in a tiny house.
- Paris (10/5): We can’t wait to get back! The tiny home was incredible and the location was flawless! - The tiny home was incredible on an amazing property in the most gorgeous area!! Less items in the home.
- Billy (9/5): Superb - Nice and quiet, just enough to be out the way of the busy places surrounding.
Cox River was amazing. Hope youre fit for the walk though!
There should be a sign saying "This walk requires 2 beers" 😁
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Tiny Nanook was such a cute little place to stay in a stunning area of the Blue Mountains. The walk down to Coxs River was a fantastic, unexpected addition to our stay. The hosts went above and beyond, providing us with eggs, milk, and firewood for our stay! A photo of the stovetop in the listing would have been super helpful to know what to expect.
- Kyle (10/5): we had a amazing time there. the place was clean and gorgeous - the location was amazing there was nothing wrong with it
- Leisha (10/5): Amazing! Perfect for a short stay to relax and be around nature! - The location is beautiful! There’s always wildlife around and it’s such a calm, beautiful place! The host is lovely, this was the perfect, private, peaceful getaway we needed! The toilet system, but we’re definitely city people, so this was a bit strange for us. The steps you have to climb to the bed aren’t very angled, so it’s a steep climb, more rails are needed to make the climb a little easier if possible.
- Luana (10/5): Exceptional -
