- Barry (9/5): Warm and welcoming - Beautiful setting. Loved the range of bedrooms for our group. Lovely spaces around the house. Eclectic furnishings. So many interesting pieces. Beautiful gardens and autumn colours. Not a dislike, but needed to be careful navigating the stairs down to the kitchen, with older guests.
- Wayne (10/5): Thoroughly relaxing and enjoyed every minute. We will be back. - Cleanliness, proximity to attractions and town centre. Parking was safe and free. Plenty of supplies left for guests to use. Decor and bedding was wonderful. Loved everything about Plum Blossom
- Diane (9/5): We loved the house and the location was great. - Location
Had everything you needed
Clean
Homey The oven was broken

- Cathrine (9/5): I'd stay at Plum Blossom Cottage again and so would my boys. We were greatly impressed. - Lovely house and gardens. Relaxing and spacious. Loved the rain head shower heads. Loved being able to sit around the table in the kitchen, great for family discussions, we spent most of our time in there. The over large bath. Too hard to get in/out of and very slippery. The water drainage in shower near the kitchen a bit slow to drain water & perhaps it needs a clean?
- Nicole (10/5): Excellent - Clean, comfortable and plenty of room. Loved the old furniture and large secure backyard for our furbabies. Check-in was easy and coffee pod machine was a bonus. Great location, close to town and shops. Would recommend. Just a note for anybody with mobility issues there are stairs into the kitchen and down to the backyard.
- Jennifer (9/5): It was lovely. - Great location.
Lots of space.
Beautiful garden.
- Anita (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Amazing home, lovely furnishings, great location, plenty of parking, walk to the shops and 3 Sisters - Amazing home, lovely furnishings, great location, plenty of parking, walk to the shops and 3 Sisters view.
Vielen Dank.
- Jessica (10/5): Picture perfect, amazing location and very comfortable. - This cottage is incredible. It’s so well set up, and so homely! Beds are comfy, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The garden is stunning. The location is perfect - 15 min walk to town in one direction or The Three Sisters in the other. We enjoyed every moment staying here. The shower in the laundry room does leak a lot, it was flooding out of the bathroom. We stopped using it after the first try.
- Lionel (8/5): -
- Jenny (7/5): Great location - There was lots of space. Location was amazing, beautiful garden Very cold. The heater was set to only work for 3 hours and switch off which is annoying in the middle of the night and in the evening. The kitchen is extremely cold even with the internal heating on.
- Dorothy (9/5): -
- Laura (10/5): Beautiful house, warm, all amenities available. Great for big groups. Beautiful yard and location! - Early check in was accommodated, very easy for multiple arrival times across our group An outdoor fire pit would seal the deal on this being one of the best air bnb’s I’ve stayed in.
- Deborah (10/5): Perfect location for our group to hike in Blue mountains - Very comfortable, lovely rooms and all the comforts - beautiful gardens out the back N/a
- David (9/5): Great location, fantastic kitchen & facilities, in a warm & well laid out house. - A wonderful location, warm house & a fantastic kitchen & dining areas made for a great stay in the Blue Mountains.
- Christopher (9/5): Charming cottage and fabulous location - A beautifully presented cottage in a great location. Everything was there and ready for us. Small gripe only .. the remote for TV needs replacing
- Robert (9/5): Perfectly pleasant in the middle of everything - Very quaint, well equipped, relaxing and beautiful, located perfectly in walking distance between the town and Echo Point Too many nice rooms to choose from
- Alkisti (9/5): Lovely home that added to the atmosphere of the region - A charming old home that is obviously loved and very well cared for Lacked an en-suite
- Heather (9/5): Such a wonderful cottage & a great place to stay. - The cottage was so comfortable & we loved the amount of space it gave us. It was clean & had everything you could possibly need. We absolutely loved staying here.
- Donna (9/5): Very homely great value good position - Loved the quaint look of the decor felt like I was at grandmas house so much history in the property, the owners thought of everything
Wanted to stay longer Unfortunately if you are very tall the beds all have ends on them and my husband feet hit the ends
Someone left a pile of garden pruning at the back gate and could not get our cars off the street
- Felicity (9/5): Clean, cosey, wanted for nothing, very comfortable 👍 - Everything was clean and we didn’t want for anything. I didn’t remember seeing the stairs down to the kitchen in the photos, as we were staying there with our elderly parents, but they carefully managed them.
- Natalie (9/5): Lovely stay for a family. - Perfect location in walking distance from Blue Mountains walking trails and shops. Well equipped, beautiful deck and back yard. Couldn't work out how to use the oven (until my niece figured out the timer needs to be turned on - the instructions on the oven are faded).
- Shirley (8/5): Pretty house, grest location for enjoying the blue mountains. - Location great and attractive. Garden beautiful. Very relaxed.
Spacious good kitchen. Beds, mostly, were comfortable. Old world feeling and cute lamps. Lack of insulation, could heat through walls. Windows did not open so have to use external doors for ventilation. Trundle bed very difficult to access and less than comfortable.
Linen allocation of one (1) towel per person for four (4) days.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elise (10/5): We stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover with three kids (5 months, 2 and 4). Our stay was very comfortable and the cot - The cottage was super cute. Really great location. Lots of street parking. Spacious backyard. Comfortable beds. Nothing. We travelled with young kids and the beds are quite high off the ground for little people but mattresses super comfortable.
- Anne (7/5): We enjoyed the location & everything provided; however a king or queen size bed would be good. - There needs to be flyscreens to enable flow of fresh air without bugs/flys etc.
- Kym (10/5): Great place for couples, friends and family stays in a perfect location - Beautifully renovated, with perfect mix of retention of its character and charm, and modernised bathrooms and appliances with outdoor deck overlooking a large well kept rambling garden of native trees and plants. Well appointed kitchen , dining and living area. Perfectly located in walking distance to local sights, walks and activities Nothing
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - The garden. Facilities all good.
- Niaomi (9/5): We all had a wonderful time in the lovely home - Location is perfect! Warm inviting home. Street parking
- Amber (9/5): A perfect Mountain home for a Family Retreat... - Excellent location, warm and cosy home, but spacious for our adult family. Comfortable beds and lovely lounge to relax and chill for the days and evening. Stunning garden to look out on. Well appointed country kitchen that was so lovely to gather in. Beautiful outdoor deck that was delightful for taking in the garden and enjoying the Spring sunshine! N/A
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional - The house was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious, well decorated, plenty of kitchenware. Had everything we needed plus more. The gardens were just stunning even came with visits from a few King Parrots. Relaxing and calming vibes all round.
Great location.
We could walk to the shops and walk to the Echo Point where the 3 sisters are. Bus stop about 10m away as well.
- Johnny (8/5): Excellent except trying to deal with the property agency. - Location, plenty of room, clean and tidy, Only problem was and this small thing but the TV remote did not work, we bought new batteries for it however it was the remote itself that was broken. I then called the property agency help number and was not happy with the rather abrupt response. It was 4:30 Thursday afternoon and she appeared to be preoccupied with her children or family and was trying to hang up on me say just send an email. I had to hold her up and confirm what email address I needed to use, she very abruptly said just reply to any of the emails I had received and then terminated the call. I then rang the second help number provided and could only leave a voice message, twice. I sent two emails and never received a response from the listed help people or from the emails.
Amazingly Friday morning a package appeared in the mail, posted from Melbourne and it contained a brand new TV remote, which work straight away.
I have been using Booking.com for many years and have always been very happy with them. However this was the worst experiences I have ever had trying to deal with the property agency, very disappointing they must have know that the remote was not working and that a new one had been posted all they had to do was check and advise me this was the case. I hope this feedback gets to the agency and they take more care in the future when dealing with their customers.
This was a small thing but it has definitely put me off using this particular property agency ever again.
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Judy (8/5): Very good - IT FELT LIKE HOME
- Flemming (8/5): Nice cosy cottage stay. - Excellent location, quiet street, 2 bathrooms/toilets, washing machine and dryer, spacious house, ducted heating, well equipped kitchen, plenty of DVDs to watch, smart TV, free WiFi. The house is really old, so it's cold if you rent it in the wintertime.
- Lioudmila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karlene (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - Close to facilities, very private
- Adam (10/5): Quaint house in a great location for the 3 Sisters and Echo Point - Lovely house and garden
Great location
Great facilities Nothing
- Valerie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. The small details, inclusions and thoughtless. The garden was beautiful and a delight to explore. One small thing I might ask for a 4 slicer toaster as the cottage accommodates groups.
- Jacqueline (8/5): A quirky cottage well suited for large families - A very spacious property with modern bathrooms, good Wifi and TV, comfortable lounge and lovely garden. Great for large groups. Very well equipped and electric blankets a nice touch. Good communication. Straight forward lockbox check in. No control over heating/air conditioning which shuts off after 3 hours day and night. We weren’t keen on all the do’s and don’ts and complicated payment system as payments don’t go through Booking.com
- Barb (9/5): Worth the money! - This was a great place to stay for an extended family or group of friends - lots of separate living spaces indoors and outdoor areas, and lots of double beds. It was very suitable for our dog also. It was a little pricier than what we wanted, but it was so suitable that we would definitely choose to stay here again. The road it was on had quite a camber at the curve, making it a little tricky to get in and out of the car - we should have used the back entrance for the car!
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Irene (10/5): Absolutely Fabulous - would stay again for sure - To coin a phrase, it was "Absolutely Fabulous"! The cottage was so lovely and the mixture of old and new was so clever. The furniture took us back to thinking who would have stayed here at the beginning and the amostphere in the house was so peaceful. Loved the original fireplaces and chimneys. Also the little touches everywhere like small vases of real flowers around. The garden was also lovely , the lavender bushes spectacular. Could not be better Nothing
- Flemming (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and it covered our needs, but some things were slightly annoying or impractical. - Cosy old-style house, romantic, nice garden / verandah, close to shops / restaurants / bush walks, two bathrooms, clothes dryer, well equipped kitchen, good beds, ducted heating, quiet street at night, free wifi, big TV. The DVD player didn't work, there were some ants around the kitchen sink, the kitchen bench was filled with stuff that could have been smaller or placed elsewhere, hence hardly any free bench top space, the front driveway could have been used for our car with a little rearranging of things.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - The property is just beautiful, well maintained and sparkling clean. We totally enjoyed our time here.
- Lisa (9/5): Excellent place to stay in Katoomba. - Excellent property, close to the bus route that runs through Katoomba. Short walk to the Katoomba Falls, a little further to Scenic World. Close to the RSL for a meal. Well equipped kitchen to cook meals if you wish. Nice garden to sit and enjoy a drink after a busy day. Comfortable living room to relax in the evening. Comfortable beds. Steps into the kitchen may be a little steep for the old or young.
- Keith (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (8/5): Lovely little cottage with everything you need. - Lovely and clean. Modern bathrooms with fresh hotel style linen. Garden was beautiful and plenty of space for the kids to run around. Although the furniture is in keeping with the style of the house, the lounges were a bit uncomfortable, especially for the oldies.
- Mansfield (8/5): Very good -
- Lenette (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cottage with all the comforts and facilities we needed. Close to tourist attractions and Katoomba cafes. Great deck and backyard. We’ll be back 😊
- Simone (10/5): it was very relaxing and comfortable and I will recommend the house to friends and family and I will rebook there again. - It had a very nice and comfy feel
to it. The backyard was so pretty and peaceful. Everything we needed was in the house so we didn’t need to purchase anything extra or look for things.
The instructions for the aircon, dishwasher and stove/oven were easy to follow. I feel the pots and pans were quite old and too many stains on them that a new set would complete everything in the kitchen. Also the oven took way too long to heat the food I ended up frying the hash browns.
- Melissa (9/5): It really suited our group and needs. It was cozy and an enjoyable place to stay. Would certainly return and tecommmebd - Location, character, art work, facilities, heating, bathrooms x 2, beds were comfortable, short distance to shops and tourist locations.
- Heath (10/5): A delightful & memorable stay to catch up with family. - Very homely, comfortable and wonderful heating.
Loved the gardens, mature trees and relaxed well placed garden seating. There was nothing not to like about your cottage.
It is very pleasant.
- Derek (10/5): lovely cottage in great location to experience the Blue Mountain region - convenient location and well equipped beds were not our preference, being to firm
- Trude (8/5): Very good - Many nice details. Perfect location. We had a really nice stay for to nights. Walking distance to Three sisters and town center. Beds was hard.
- Eilis (8/5): a lovely place to stay in Katoomba. - Comfortable house with beautiful garden. It would have been easier to have an extra key.
- Gai (9/5): Superb - Location
Facilities
- Lisa (9/5): Cute and comfortable cottage that is close to central Katoomba and the Three Sisters lookout. - Beautifully decorated cottage and a lovely garden.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): excellent place to stay in Katoomba- the house has everything, clean, great location, we will be back - well equiped, clean, and the location is perfect our bed was uncomfortable
- Gosia (8/5): Very good -
- Kathleen (8/5): Had a lovely time in good location with pretty garden. - Location excellent. The house was very attractively renovated although sound proofing an issue.
The garden is delightful and there were friendly touches such as board games and books. Kitchen very well equiped. It would have been good to know there were a number of steps to the kitchen as one of our guests had knees issues. We thought the house was on one level.
The couches and chairs were very uncomfortable and were nowhere near the standard of the rest of the fit out.
There is an issue of privacy between the bedrooms as there is no insulation in the old stud walls so one can literally hear through the walls what is being said in the next door bedroom.
- Crystalangelee (9/5): Superb -
- Huiting88 (8/5): Nice house - I like the locationas easily accessible. Mins away from the scenic world and restaurants highly recommended. The house look rustic with modern designs too. It's not easy to lock the main door
The toilet with washing machine easily flooded with water
The heaters in the toilet wasn't hot
- Veronica (10/5): A lovely weekend with dear friends in the beautiful Plum Blossom Cottage -
- Bronwyn (9/5): Fab house for a family(cousins) yearly trip - This cottage was just beautiful along with the tulips and bloosom trees that was in the garden. I could not really fault anything as my cousins and myself loved the place, Bus stop not far from us, RSL just up the road a bit and a great coffee shop as well. Main hub of Katoomba is walking distance as well. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. Well worth the the money to stay there, Place was clean and lovely clean white sheets, Would stay there again if I was going up there again I didn't really not like anything about the place really, if I had to put something I didn't like was I thought outside the spider webs could have been removed as it didn't look very nice. The only other thing I didn't really like(nothing to do with the house) it was the amount of emails I had received I thought it was a bit over kill, I received emails from Booking, com along with the Accommodated and they were the same info.
- Simon (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (10/5): Excellent place to stay with our adult daughters. - No off street parking
Lounges in sitting room we’re uncomfortable
- Casey (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (9/5): Had a wonderful weekend. - Everything we needed for our girls weekend was there fantastic kitchen with heaps of cooking gear platters etc. Would probably benefit to re cushion the old green lounge very uncomfortable as was other lounge as well 😕☹️
- Gk1 (7/5): We had a nice stay at the cottage, except for the cold. The cottage is a special ,nice experience. - The location was very good. The cottage is lovely, home away from home. It contains everything you need. The neighbours are friendly, lovely people. I liked that the beds had electric sheets to keep you warm. I loved the cottage and the garden with the flowers. The nights were very cold. Heating had to be restarted every three hours. Annoying at night to wake up just to switch it on. The bathroom heating was not strong at all. The three seater lounge was very old and uncomfortable .The kitchen was freezing.
- Doug (7/5): Our stay was very comfortable and great location -
- Trent (9/5): Superb -
