Drcolin (10/5): Comfortable, tranquil boutique hotel - We were 3 friends visiting Barichara for the first time. We stayed for two nights at the Santa Sofia Case Boutique Hotel which served as a wonderful, tranquil base for us to explore the town and the area. Location was well situated a mere one block from the beautiful main town square, and from the terrace and dining area there were great views of the church. Rooms were comfortable and well laid out, and mere metres from the swimming pool, jacuzzi, lobby and dining area. There was a well stocked fridge with a range of beverages in the common area available to sign out 24/7. Breakfasts were wholesome and tasty with coffee, juice, fresh fruit and choice of eggs. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was seamless. Parking was available in a gated enclosed space mere metres from the main entrance. Only small issue was showers were luke warm and not hot, but this was more than made up for by all the other positives. We would definitely stay there again.

Quiero decirles que el hotel es aún mas lindo de lo que se ve y todo fue genial. Las instalaciones son impecables, los baños son hermosos y me encantó que cada detalle está pensado para la comodidad del huesped. También su ubicación me pareció perfecta y cerca a todo. Recomendadisimo! No tengo nada que decir porque todo absolutamente todo, me encantó.

Great attention to details around the hotel, which makes a real joy to be in your room, or explore the installations and sit in one of the different living rooms while reading an old coffee table book, or observing antique decorative elements and paintings. Impressive panoramic view of the mountains, Barichara cathedral, and Spanish colonial-style tile roofed white houses. We liked everything.

Scott (10/5): - Fantastic hotel! Our first night there was one other family in the hotel. The second night we were the only ones! The photos online are very accurate. Staff were very friendly and had lots of recommendations for restaurants for us. The hotel is a one minute walk to the town center. The only slight negative, which the hotel cannot control, were the church bells ringing from the nearby church, EVERY HOUR. Other than that, highly recommend.

The daily breakfast is delicious and the staff was so nice and helpful. It was fortunate that the weather was excellent.

This is the place to stay in Barichara. Only small thing is that the rooms are not sound proof at all, so you can pretty much hear everything going on. But it didn’t bother too much.

Roberto (10/5): Oasis in beautiful Barichara - The property is absolutely stunning, with great views over Barichara, and a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi. The room is fully equipped with AC, fan, fast Wi-Fi, a separate office space with a desk and even a walk-in closet perfect for long stays. The location is great, in a very cute street and close to all the sites to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Nothing to mention here.
