Guest Reviews
- Andrew (7/5): -
- pipparker (10/5): - Excellent location. Spacious home.
- Gillian (4/5): Great location. Good spot for a big family group. A bit sad otherwise. It needs a tidy up. - The lock needs fixing. Had to simultaneously turn the handle and the lock for it to work. It took a long time to jiggle it and work that out. IF AN AFTER HOURS NUMBER HAD BEEN AVAILABLE BEFORE WE ENTERED THE HOUSE THEN IT WOULD HAVE AVOIDED PANIC. I was there just after five and could not contact anyone. Once entering the house an after hours number is available. Having an after hours number that was available before entering the property and a key / lock set up that didn't require jiggling to work.
- Lyn Gough (10/5): - Location was top notch.
All was clean and amenable.
Amazing views from buildings.
Staff on phone were obliging and helpful before arrival and when we had to phone for wi fi connection on arrival. Beds were a tad hard.
No wi fi connection code provided. Had to phone for these.
Hot plates difficult to turn on, even with the instructions. We didn't even get them turned on.

- Linda (9/5): Fantastic house with everything you might want in a home. Spacious and clean. - Size of the place and many living areas. Great views for Aurora Australis watching!! Nothing
- Jessica (7/5): Comfortable stay, would stay again. - Comfortable beds & couch and a great view. The stove top took over 30 minutes to heat up enough to cook breakfast which was not fun with a hungry toddler. The pans as well left something to be desired. The firewood is also all outside so we were unable to have a fire after it rained. Would’ve been good to have a stash inside ready for us.
- Philippa (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent large spacious house. Secure back yard. Excellent location. Close to shops, beach, park. Good facilities for kids and families.
- Doney (5/5): Passable - Great location 5 minutes from petrol and convenience store and cafes The pics make it look far nicer than it was. Little bit tired and
Old fashioned.
No coffee machine for pods just a machine with ground coffee.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Extremely spacious and we'll located
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerry (9/5): Superb - Location
- Warner (10/5): Perfect location - Amazing location, big house, plenty of room, everything you require to make stay very comfortable
Would stay again
- Liz (8/5): It was great. Would recommend - Location was great.
Would be great for a family.
Loved the view. Light and airy. A little dated.
Had to say what linen we needed when had paid for a house. Understand not wanting to waste $ on washing linen etc but had to request extra bed to be made.
- Caroline (10/5): Fabulous 3 days . - Everything Na
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -

- Anna (9/5): Overall a beautiful and relaxing stay in a spacious/comfortable home- just bring your extra doona! - The view was spectacular, large table and comfy chairs, lovely sofas, played ping pong and Futsal- an awesome stay. The coffee machine did not work- there were no instructions on how to use it.
The quilts /doonas were summer weight. We had very cold nights and there were only these very light quilts and doonas on the beds- and no blankets provided except one synthetic one. Thankfully there were multiple beds and we could double up- otherwise we used our coats over the doonas. We also asked for late check out- they mentioned they would call and let me know but they never responded.
- Nicholas (8/5): Very good - Location, homely, spacious NA
- Alistair (10/5): Wonderful large family house with amazing views, sunshine and an excellent location. - Lovely big house in an excellent location. Would definitely book again. Beautiful views, convenient location, comfortable and well equipped for a large family group. No complaints at all, the house is lovely. There is literally nothing I would change about the house.
- Nicole (5/5): great potential but needs a serious makeover - Nice location with a good view, just literally a minute to great coffee and a basic convenience store, petrol etc. Helpful staff who was patient with us, assisting us on a late check in over the phone. it had a table football which made the kids’ day! This property is beautiful but in severe need for refreshment. The equipment was super dated. The oven was spoilt, the frying pan did not sit on the induction hob well, so food took forever to cook. The induction hob was not very sensitive as well. The property needs proper cleaning, it had a weird musky smell and there were cobwebs everywhere. Worst of all, the ceiling leaked while the 2nd level shower was on, fortunately the leak was not too bad, putting a pail there managed to get that sorted.
- Janet (5/5): Disappointing for a property in this price range - the property was very clean, towels and sheets of good quality we were advised by email and phone that the bed configuration would be one king and one queen. Not so - one king and one double. if we had known this we would not have booked this property. Both beds need replacing.
Bathroom dated and both showers very small, toiletries not made in Australia.
Dining table needs refurbishing or replacing.
- Jess (9/5): A relaxing stay in the national park - Amazing property for a group holiday. We were a group of 3 and house was huge! Definitely would like to come back and stay with a larger group
Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay
- Roger (9/5): great location and views, close to everything. - location nothing
- Bob (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (1/5): Moldy, dated and unable to be occupied. - it was in a good position. Thé smell of mould and damp was overwhelming and after the first night my asthma became so bad, wheezing that we decided we couldn’t stay. The carpet smelt damp, the beds smelt moldy, the kitchen had broken doors, broken bin. of concern there was a message on the fridge not to drink the water without boiling. This fact could have been mentioned in the marketing. there was a warning not to start the fire, as it wouldn’t be necessary after September… what? This property is unfit to be rented out, and it is an absolute rip off.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (4/5): Not suitable for couple/small groups - There’s a nice seaview from the balcony The Lookout is too big for couple or small family accommodation. While I understand that I only booked for 1 room, it was very spooky to find rooms locked in the property although I did not intend to use them; because I won’t know what or who could be in the locked rooms.
- Next, the house had a musky stale smell when first entered.
- Sofas and dining chairs on 2nd level had stains on them and not sure if they were clean.
- Remote controls for TV and living hall’s aircon were not in good condition. Had hard time operating them.
- Oven looked dirty and 1 of them was not working.
- couple of Lights were not working and fan lights were not working as well. The lights were also too dim.
- There was a info note from your agency to inform
If there are any damages to the unit, but there were too many spoilt items until we also did not know how to inform: Dustbin lid was spoilt, kitchen cabinet drawers were peeling, couple of balcony’s sunchairs were spoilt, etc.
- Emma (7/5): Beautiful and central location! - Beautiful location, central location close to beach and shops. Lots of room for multiple family members.
We enjoyed our stay at the Lookout house.
Warm and cosy too! One oven didn't work, outdoor BBQ area was poorly maintained. Curtains in main bedroom wouldn't close,
- Mikey11 (8/5): Very good -
- Kati (10/5): fabulous - excellent location and views
