Guest Reviews
- MARI (8/5): -
- Julia (10/5): Great location - A lovely property in a fab location to explore Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park. Good facilities. Nothing.
- Tricia (8/5): Well-located comfortable house for six - Spacious, comfy but a bit dated. Well-equipped kitchen, big lounge and dining table, with heaps of opening windows to get the sea breeze. Good having a laundry and clothesline with pegs. The front and back yards are a shambles! Broken front and side fences, a dilapidated shed, weeds and bare ground, no lids on the bins etc. The outside makes it look like you wouldn’t want to go in. There is no outdoor furniture and nowhere to sit outside.

- Steve (8/5): A real Aussie house. - Really comfortable beds. The house was spacious and conveniently located. It was a real Aussie house. Minor issues only. The ironing board has seen better days. Some of the pans showed signs of starting to rust. There was no chopping board.

- Quintin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taylah (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the house itself, was warm and comforting There wasn't much to fault it was a lovely stay
- Sean (10/5): wonderful base for exploring the Freycinet area - very comfortable, very clean, great location minor issue .. need a bigger kitchen sink plug
- Tracie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (6/5): Great location & convenient for short term stay - Location was exactly what we needed, walkable to Jetty/ sunsets and close to grocery store. The lounge room rug was full of dog fir/ looked although it hadn't been vacuumed. The kitchen wasn't fully equipped for cooking, no chopping board and random pots and pans.
- Andrea (1/5): Completely overpriced - This property was completely overpriced. It's worth $600 per month not $600 per night. Lawn not mowed and messy. Garbage in the yard. Fence falling down. BBQ is non existent with bricks falling down.
- Roslyn (7/5): Good -
- Rick (9/5): Superb -
- Christian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gerald (2/5): Poor condition and overpriced - Good location. Potential to be a good rental property. Dated and in serious need of refurbishment. Many utensils rusty, lights not working.. I provided, as requested, a list of problems with this property to the agency. I suggested a partial refund was appropriate. I have heard nothing from them. Very poor service. The garden and outside fences and outbuildings are in a very poor state. Due to the almost total covering of rabbit droppings, the garden is unusable. Wardrobe doors not working properly, no mirrors in bedrooms, rust covered cooking pots..the list is long. Cannot recommend this property, unless there's a major refurbishment.
- Karen (7/5): Great location in lovely part of Tasmania! - Location near the national park! Very spacious! Host very accommodating when needed extra hours to check out due to car breakdown! No directions for TV! No local information folder! Tiny ice cube tray!
- Ian (9/5): We found it very very good. Didnt like the suggestion that more than two people stayed overnight -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location to explore Wineglass Bay and Freycinct Park. Great accommodation, very comfortable and bright
- Jane (5/5): Passable - Very spacious accommodation. There was no basic commodities as I found in other places. No condiments. No rubbish bags. No pegs for the washing- the property doesn’t have a clothes dryer.
A whole list of instructions on the use of the dishwasher however the property didn’t have a dish washer !!
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Lynne (9/5): Recommend this place - Location, space, clean, comfy No coffee pot
- Christine (7/5): Pleasant stay in a tidy, comfy house a short walk from cafes and water. - Comfortable, there were actually 3 rooms available when we only needed 2, so that helped with bedding configuration for the kids. Nice layout. Large backyard full of wild bunnies which excited the kids (despite our ecological discussions). Washing machine and powder provided, outside line and indoor clothes hangers provided. Good bathroom with toiletries provided. Sunfilled with large windows with blockout blinds. No clothes basket and inadequate pegs. No coffee machine. The carpet in the bedrooms was in need of vaccuuming, but otherwise the place was clean and tidy.
- Bennett (10/5): Exceptional - location, airiness poor lighting
- Patricia (8/5): Very good - Location was good for the national park. It was very cold the night we were there.
- An (8/5): A comfortable stay and would be best suited for larger groups 4-5 people as has so many facilities to use - Very windproof, washing machine Older than it looked
- Keng (7/5): Good - Large living room
Well equipped No heating in rooms
- Tanya (10/5): Great Place to Stay! - Our house was full of light, clean, comfortable and quiet. . Great spot as only a short 3 minute walk to the local ice-creamery , cafe and convenience store and Jetty. Had everything we needed for a great stay.Bonus was the large Smart TV. Nothing
- Cooper (9/5): Superb -
- Stephan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location only a few minutes walk from the town centre and water.
