Guest Reviews
- Shevani (10/5): An excellent study..will be back - The setting No outside shower
- Sally (10/5): Amazing location and such a beautiful home!! - The view!!! Nothing
- Anne (10/5): Wow! Amazing! - Wow! Just amazing! Clean, comfortable and loved every minute. The view I will never forget. Loved the open fire place, kitchen, facilities, privacy like everything. Thanks so much for having us and we shall be back again!
- Lem (10/5): Beautiful place with everything needed for a wonderful stay. - Amazing views, open fire, so much space, excellent kitchen. Could have a had a few smaller bits of wood for the fire.
- Lisa (9/5): Some of the best views in Tasmania. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Great place to stay with friends. - The view, spacious and beach access were wonderful. Well-equipped. Nothing.
- Caroline & Edwin (9/5): - It was an incredible home with stunning views. We enjoyed our stay very much. Not as private as we are used to. Blinds in the dining area would be a great addition.

- Allen (1/5): - Unfortunately I mistakenly booked the wrong dates. Upon discovering this three weeks prior to my stay i contacted Bookings.com and the rental agency and they refused to refund even part of the $2000 I paid for 2 nights. While I understand there is no refund for canclleation within 30 days I suggested they offer a partial refund if they could rebook the property given it was still 3 weeks out. They refused to re advertise it or attempt to re book which is unreasonable. Two thousand dollars is not insignificant and under these circumsatnces I feel an atttmpet to re book the property and refund a portion would have been the right thing to do rather than take the 2k and provide nothing.
- Debbie (10/5): Great place to base yourself to explore this beautiful part of Tasmania. Very thoughtfully fitted out - I was expecting it to be nice, it was even better than I expected. Just beautiful, well appointed, cosy and comfortable with amazing views
- Rebecca (10/5): Amazing view , great location - View is absolutely amazing , location of the main bedroom at the property is perfect and captures all the view . As much as we like a nice cosy fire the open fire place does create a smoke smell throughout the property and we can smell smoke across our jackets .
Up to the individual but we will choose not to use the open fire place on our next visit .

- James (10/5): Excellent and lovely place. - Check-in easy. Lovey place and would recommend to stay here when in Coles Bay. Facing the bay and lovely view. Spacious and with free parking at the place. Very enjoyable 2 nights stay.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (10/5): Great spot for a family holiday - The view was fantastic and it was only a short walk to the beach. Staff were in contact prior with info, lots of information available about the property and location provided.
- Clarke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fairfield (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mingzhu (7/5): Nice property but probably won’t come back. - Magnificent view, private accomodation. 1. Location: the whole area is so dark with most properties being vacant.
2. So far away from shops and restaurants, had to drive out and most shops close quite early.
3. Higher windows in the master bedroom do not have any curtains——-this is the worst. We went for a holiday but was waken up by the natural sunlight at 6am and couldn’t go back to sleep just because it was just so bright.
4. There are quite a lot of ants in the kitchen. Staff was helpful by providing the ant drugs but we didn’t use it since we travel with young children.
5. It is quite windy given the position of the property and you can hear the heavy wind making noise hitting on the windows and sliding doors that we didn’t sleep too well.
- Rebecca (10/5): Beautiful overall but really need to provide more fresh towels and a much better laundry facility wi - Fresh towels for a 5 day stay would have been more conducive for this property. Expecting to use only one towel for the entire stay was not good. Also the washing machine with inbuilt dryer was not user friendly. It would be so much better if you invested in a separate dryer.
- Lindsay (9/5): Very comfortable stay with gorgeous views - View!! Comfort Nothing
- Hilary (8/5): Beautiful view from the house. - Good breakfast hamper. The bacon and eggs were great. Croissant would have been lovely.
- Diane (10/5): An absolutely beautiful stay for a special occasion get away. - Stunning view The bed was a little firm for my liking.
A blind near the dining table would be a good addition for privacy.
- Noel (9/5): Spectacular - Was a perfect spot to relax with an amazing view
- Alison (9/5): Hope to return to spend a longer time there - The location and views stunning
The design of the building to capture full views from
Inside
Feeling of exclusivity / privacy even though close to others
Very quick response to queries / issues Can’t think of anything significant to be honest
- Brancato (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Perfect views, great location. - Glorious views over the bay. Short walk to the beach. Convenient drive to Freycinet National Park, and only slightly further to the world-beating seafood of Bicheno. Hosts arranged a national park pass in advance. The range of delicious food hampers on offer encouraged extra hiking.
- Amanda (10/5): Wonderful house well apppointed and would recommend - Location location location The occasional smell from the sewerage system , and it was listed as 3 bathroom id say typo as it only had 2 but for 3 couples it was still ok.
- Rajmohan (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adnan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sally (10/5): superb location and accommodation - sensational location and facilities
- Millie (9/5): Best choice for those living in the busy cities! - Fantastic view of the sky & ocean!
Spacious, modern decorated & clean apartment with nice furniture & kitchen fully equipped.
Helpful staff. Door lock was out of order when we came back from shopping, lucky that the staff came to our rescue within minutes!
- Tish (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (4/5): Disappointing - - The location was brilliant with the house located on the coastline. Beautiful views from the majority of the house.
- House was nice and big, plenty of room to move around.
- Welcome gift was a nice touch and appreciated.
- Kitchen facilities were pretty good, we were able to cook our breakfast each morning. - When we arrived there was a horrible “wet dog” like smell in the house. I'm not sure if this was a cleaning product or a result of the wet weather but it was pretty horrible.
- When we arrived the AC was on and the house was freezing. It literally took 2 days to warm the house and we basically had to run the heating 24/7.
- When showering on our first night the lighting in the master didn’t work. The only lighting that worked was the bedside lamps. Showers in the dark aren’t overly fun. In the morning my partner went out to the switchboard and flicked a switch to make the lighting work. However the fuse switch kept tripping on multiple occasions throughout our stay where he had to go and manually switch it on. Id suggest there is a fault in the system which needs to be looked at.
- We discussed a note to say the fireplace couldn't be used past September (despite it being 14 degrees for our stay). We could have appreciated this if there was a note on the property listing advising of this however there wasnt. We booked the property purely so we could enjoy a glass of red by the fire on our evenings, so we were very disappointing on this point.
- There was only x2 towels provided for our stay (for a 3 bedroom house).
- Master bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, so much so that I injured my neck/shoulder.
- Cleaners were there waiting at 10:02am in the morning on our final day when we left. I even got a phone call at about 10:07am from the booking company your questioning why our car was still there.
- Louise (10/5): Incredible views!! - Honestly the most incredible views I have ever seen in any house. It was breathtaking, and I still think about the view every day since leaving. Would definitely recommend to friends and would absolutely stay there again. Coffee Machine was also really good!! Only thing I would recommend is bringing your own laptop if you are wanting to watch a movie at night 🙂
The main TV is ancient and small for such a large area, and the DVD player didn’t work. I highly recommend the TV be replaced with a smart TV. Such a small thing makes a huge difference- Especially when exploring isn’t an option during the heavy rain.
Having said that though, I would stay there again with or without a TV.
Would have also been amazing to be able to use the fireplace at night. Would be a good idea to allow the use of this in October on nights that are forecasted to be wet and cold. I would have happily paid a bit extra to be able to use this.
- Michele (7/5): Relaxing short break - The views overlooking the water were stunning. The property was spacious & nicely presented & the kitchen was well set-up with appliances, crockery etc for family meals. Choice of indoor or outdoor dining with amazing outlook was really lovely. There were a few things that weren’t so good. The BBQ was in quite poor condition (rusty cooking surfaces), dishwasher & DVD player didn’t work (& no smart TV) & the house was very cold in the evenings (we were looking forward to a fire in cold weather but the wood is stored in the open & was wet through so wouldn’t burn!). We may have been unlucky with the appliances but BBQ & firewood seem like issues that can / should be identified in advance of a stay. As holidays in this area are ‘home based’ they did impact on overall experience but we nonetheless had a nice time!
