- Karen (10/5): Loved it so much we have already booked again to stay in August and in November. - We liked everything about Parnella Cottage. Very welcoming, comfortable, cosy and beautifully appointed with everything and more included. Lovely gardens too. Spotlessly clean. Everything so well thought through including for our little pooch! Nothing to say here.
- Patty (10/5): Wonderful place & highly recommend. 10 out of 10. - My husband and I with our furry friend stayed here for 5 nights.
We absolutely loved this cottage. Definitely pet friendly fully fenced backyard with lots of bedding options & dog bowls, although we brought our own.
There was ample parking for our boat in driveway and conveniently located near boat ramp.
Everything was provided. Well stocked pantry with tea, coffees, hot chocolates, cereals, sauces, oil etc.
even fresh eggs & jams in fridge.
Comfy bed, with nice linen. Bathroom had toiletries supplied, small but good shower.
Excellent lounge suite & good TV with free Netflix, Prime video etc.
I should mention that it was exceptionally clean throughout.
Great undercover outdoor entertainment areas (furnished) front & back, with BBQ.
Most certainly will be back. 10 out 10. There was nothing to dislike.

It was well set up with toys and books for children, Amazon Prime access on a large screen TV, board games, and items for pets, The kitchen had many basics provided. These included cooking oil, condiments and sauces, and enough food for anyone arriving too late to go to a restaurant in nearby St Helens to prepare a late dinner. The free range eggs provided were appreciated, as were the large amount of towels. There is a lovely outdoor entertaining area and the lounge was huge. It was a great place to catch up with friends. - Lee (9/5): We used the accommodation as home base in St Helens to explore the region over 3 days in winter. - The house was very comfortable, homey and exceptionally well equipped--for both people and pets.
The kitchen was fitted out very well and we ended up cooking evening meals there because there wasn't much open in St Helens. The only problem we had was with closing the key case where we collected the key!
Everything else was wonderful.
- Caroline (10/5): Excellent value home, a great base for the north-west. - Parnella Cottage felt like home. It's comfortably set up for a family or a couple and a great location to explore Stieglitz, Peron dunes, St Helens and beyond to the Bay of Fires and inland north-west Tassie. We enjoyed the comforts of the house, fruit/veg growing in the garden (we were lucky to find apples in season) and the night sky was stunningly clear. We appreciated the host's thoughtful touches and loved being able to bring our dog on holiday with us.

- Graham (9/5): A home away from home - “Home away from home” is a cliche, but this lovely house is just that. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. A beautiful home, meticulously clean, in a lovely garden in a quiet neighbourhood, it was the ideal place in which to relax each evening after a day out. We both slept well in the comfortable beds. Everything we needed was provided, with a well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast on the rear patio, watching the birds. It was good to have a Hills Hoist on which to dry clothes. Nothing

- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - The property is in a great location - very quiet street, not far from the Stieglitz boat ramp and only a short drive to St Helens. The front deck is a perfect sunny spot for brekkie or a morning cuppa & the home is warm & inviting. The provisions in the fridge & pantry were much appreciated for the things we forgot to bring. The back & front yard was well fenced so we were quite comfortable with our Goldie being outside... although he was more than happy to curl up on the huge, cozy inside doggy bed! Although being pet friendly there was no unpleasant odour in the house. Plenty of parking space, we had 2 vehicles & a boat and could have fitted another car in the driveway. We couldn't stay longer!
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
