• Kristina (9/5): Prime views from top balcony - Amazing views and location in terms of surroundings (but is a drive from shops). The paddocks and animals around were great for the kids. Beautifully renovated interior with some stunning antique pieces (made better than a lot of modern furniture!). The beds are amazing as is the parents retreat up stairs. Excellent appointments in the kitchen and living areas. Wonderful coonara fireplace with wood delivered on request (ex charge ok). Beach right across the road and positioned for spec sunrise and sunset. Would definitely stay again for more than one night to maximise the r&r. The retreat bedroom is accessed via external stairs (it is stated but I missed that point). If you have you have young children, you're not likely to want to leave them on the ground floor alone. The egg bathtub is amazing but when everyone has showers, there's not enough water to fill it (ie get in quick!). The exterior needs some attention to match what's been done inside. The rate is quite steep but it was school holidays. I would try stay again if there is an off peak rate.

• Anonymous (3/5): not worth the money - the view of the second floor room is nice. the bathroom and kitchen is clean and new. no tissue paper. the second floor needs to be accessed through outdoor. so we didn’t use it at all. the room is much smaller than the picture. all the furniture are old.

• James (4/5): Disappointed! The fact there was no hot water really soured our experience - It was in walking of the beach. The house was quite nicely equipped for what was needed. There was no hot water, which made it very disappointing of an experience because we had small children. The owner did visit the home to inspect whether it could be fixed, but without any luck. The AC unit upstairs was not working.
• Mischelle (9/5): Perfect place to relax! - Great location! Loved the view on both side. Really a relaxing feel. Spacious rooms! Kitchens good as well! The top floor room was perfect! Nice view! Beds were clean and they provided towels. Ample space for parking. Great space for bonding with friends. Beach access was just acroos the road. 36mins from Lorne Pier or 15mins from nearest fuel station. Great location for stop over if you want to experience Great Ocean Road travel.
