• Kiri (1/5): - Add stated on first page that it was a private place, not shared. Later In the add it was unclear if shared or not. On arrival there were 5 other people staying and they also thought it was their private accomodation. Host was not willing to refund when messaged. Host said he could not put the room back up and get someone else to stay unless booking.com would clear his calendar. If his calendar was cleared he said he could partially refund me. However I looked and the booking was available in the booking.com calendar, he still did not refund. I did not stay. Misleading advertising - this is shared accomodation.

• Alice (1/5): Host did not make it sound like an appealing stay - We received a message from the host on the day we were supposed to stay saying that they had received some complaints about the state of the property, the noise levels and they type of guests that they had let stay there. These cryptic messages made us very uneasy and we cancelled our booking immediately.
• Arthur Buensuceso (1/5): Very bad which we leave then property! Not to occupy the room even we booked for 3 days.. - Nothing to like. Bad host of the property. The host did not secure the the Keys of the room properly. Someone occupied our room when we arrived. The host is irresponsible, he wants us to occupied the room, only to change duvet but not the pillow case and others, which already used by somebody. And defending the other guys where they said only confusion but the Keys was returned to the same place!!! How come??? If swap key maybe acceptable mistake, but both rooms was open already and used. Property owner already knew this people where open complaint by the previous guests. So i rate this super super bad.

• Holly (8/5): Great value stay in a lovely area - Good value for the area. Very comfy bed and clean room. Peaceful and safe area with good facilities near by. Easy check in even at midnight from the airport! Other guests were very friendly, respectful and quiet. One bathroom between 6 people is quite tight especially when you don’t know the other guests.

• Akhil (3/5): I didn't like - I only like peaceful environment. House was on a bad location, it took lots of time to find the house because house number was not mentioned at front, it was on a side. We were struggling to find here and there which can be seen in their home cameras, sink was blocked to wash hands, a bad smell was coming in the room and i started having itching on arms and legs when got in bed.

• AJ Smith (1/5): - Absolutely nothing. I showed up to find some random person already sleeping in my room. It then took him almost 30 minutes to pack his stuff up before I could enter the room. After that, there were no sheet changes, no quick clean up, nothing. It turns out the person in my room was partying with the people upstairs and decided to just come down stairs and lay down with nothing but his underwear on in the bed and room that I had already booked. So to have to deal with a barely awake almost naked drunk man was just the most wonderful and type of experience that I just wish I could pay my hard earned money for over and over again. (HUGE SARCASM) But the fun doesn't stop there folks, oh no, upon getting into bed I got to experience the extra fun adventure of praying to God that the moisture all throughout the bed was just his body sweat from the booze. And the smell? Calvin Klein eat your heart out. (EVEN MORE MASSIVE SARCASM) Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I'd just end up feeling bad that I did. Nobody deserves that treatment. As far as the actual sleeping went, it didn't. Because apparently this QUIET, 3 bedroom house on a tree lined street actually is the complete opposite. They were hosting a party and I could hear every word said til 8am. The only thing that went my way was the fact I said after dealing with this to the owner, and asking me to still be out by the checkout time with an apology that went like this, and I quote..."this wasn't my fault. I had nothing to do with it." But at least had the decency to give me a noon check out. Worth every penny if the price was only a single penny. DONT STAY HERE!!! SEE ABOVE COMMENT.

• Aurélia (3/5): Avoid at all costs - borderline scammy - Avoid at all costs - borderline scammy The listing didn’t match the photos or description at all (see attached). The shower was broken and unusable, and the owner knew about it but lied to us before we arrived. The unit and bedrooms have no soundproofing; walls are paper-thin, and the bedrooms open directly onto the kitchen, so it’s far from the “quiet” stay that was promised. The bedding was uncomfortable—torn synthetic sheets, saggy mattress, and a worn-out bed base. Cleanliness was a major issue: dead insects on the walls, dirty dishes, a clogged sink, and a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in days. An absolute disgrace.

• Kent (3/5): Okay if you don't mind expensive hostels, otherwise, never again for us. - Central location of town; Some nice included amenities; Accessible parking; Friendly daily cleaner; Rooms seemed clean. Bad description in website of accurate accommodation; Somewhat hostile responses for communications with landlord; Should be listed as a hostel, not an apartment; Too many random people coming and going within property at odd times, late nights, and random complaining by neighbours. Everyone that booked were surprised that other people were in the same apartment.

Mattresses were broken and hollowed out, dirty, slept in with dead bugs on y. Bathroom was dirty with no toilet paper, broken shower head (it leterally fell on my husband'shead) , broken cabinets, dirty bathtub. Also, our room was already open when we got in so someone else had access to the room before us

• Kathrin (6/5): Top Lage, aber mit Mängeln - Die Wohnung liegt super gelegen in kitsilano, einer wunderbaren Gegend für Erkundungstouren und zentral angebunden, aber ruhig. Auch der Checkin verlief unkompliziert, Parken war problemlos möglich. Wir haben hervorragend geschlafen, das Bett ist sehr bequem. Leider roch es stark, fast beißend nach Putzmitteln und im Bad gab es an der Decke Schimmel – das war unangenehm. Mit besserer Pflege wäre es eine gute Unterkunft.
• Meggy (2/5): Avoid at all cost !! - They do offer bottled water, milk, and cereal, and the beds are fairly comfortable — but those are the only positives, along with a kitchen equipped with an oven, sink, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle. Airbnb in no way matched the photos in the listing! I almost asked for a partial refund as compensation, but I didn’t have the energy to negotiate. It's on two floors, and the second is only accessible from the outside. I don’t even know where to begin — it was horrible. Check-in was complicated, our room had been taken by other guests who picked whichever room they wanted instead of following instructions, so we had to find another available room. Not all the keys are labeled, and the rooms aren’t labeled at all. The host just sent a screenshot of a completely messed-up reservation list, and we had to guess that our room was on the ground floor — but there were several rooms. In short, I can confirm the hygiene is appalling, even though cleaning is supposedly done daily. There’s very little comfort — for example, no furniture in the bathroom to place your things (I had to use the floor), and no bath mat. The shower handle broke, which flooded the floor, and we had to mop it up with our towel because no mop was available. The place is shared with many other people. As another review said: avoid at all costs!!!!!!"**

• Saul (8/5): Sitio para descansar agradable, en buena zona. - Muy buena ubicación, en una zona familiar tranquila. Todo el tiempo tuvimos buena comunicación con el anfitrión. El basement, es como se describe en la publicación, tres habitaciones, sala comedor y cocina. El mobiliario ya es viejo y le falta algo de mantenimiento, como los muebles de la cocina, pero al final cumple, es un lugar para descansar y tienes todos los servicios.

• Azfar (6/5): Not recommended for this price 😕 - There were a few redeeming qualities. The beds were comfortable, which ensured a decent night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel's location was convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. Unfortunately, my experience was subpar. The living room was unacceptably cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably. The furniture was not only outdated but also showed significant signs of wear and tear, with noticeable damage that detracted from the overall ambiance. Upon check-in, a strong and unpleasant odor permeated the home, which was a major concern. Although the smell dissipated after a couple of hours, it was a disappointing start to our stay. Given these issues, I would expect a higher level of attention to detail and maintenance from a hotel. Potential guests should be aware of these shortcomings when considering their stay.

• Carolyn (1/5): DON’T STAY HERE! - The neighborhood was nice I truly cannot believe nor explain the magnitude of disgust and dismay we experienced!! NEVER EVER have we stayed in such a filthy and dilapidated property! Let me also say, I have been disappointed by some places we have stayed in the past, but never to this degree. There are SO many things wrong with this place, I don’t know where to begin. First of all, FILTHY!!The second we walked in, there was a horrid stench we never could identify. The bathroom reminded me of a disgusting gas station bathroom-cabinets broken, floor sticky, vent falling off ceiling caked with dirt and dust, 20++ bottles of shampoo, conditioner, used soap in shower, dirty shower mat, hair and filth in the FREEZER, old disgusting food left in fridge, in cabinets and on countertops, oven broken, drawers dirty and grimy, most blinds broken, no screens, could not lock 1 window, GROSS stained and stinky furniture which looked like they found on side of road (I would not sit on it at all!) kitchen chairs broken, only 1 smoke detector which I believe was not working, mattress on floor in 1 room, closet doors broken off…. sooooooo many other things wrong. If someone forced me to say one positive thing, it would be that there were clean towels (but no wash cloths) UGH, do not stay here!! I have NO IDEA who could have POSSIBLY left 10-star ratings of this place! The only thing I say to that is, NO WAY…..there is something shifty going on with the reviews!!

The nespresso machine could have used a little clean as the tank water had gotten gross. I think with the tank at the back, it is easy to overlook in a clean.

The only lights were overhead, which is a problem for shared bedrooms (not everyone wants to go to bed at the same time) and convenience. The bedrooms were so crowded with beds that they were difficult to use, and there was no place to put belongings besides the closet or floor. Bedside tables and lamps are a good thing. The window shades need work. There was noise from the top floor- we recommend steps to cushion noise. The kitchen items were disorganized and random. The stove badly needs cleaning. The thermostat was covered by sticky paper and should have instructions.

There is some things that can be improved and could make the place more comfortable, hopefully they take them in consideration.
• Amanda (4/5): 3 room house - I liked how close it was to everything The fact that the people who own the rental had a party the night we arrived waking up my kids till 2am and then we're pushy at 630am about when are we leaving when I have till 11am to check out.
• Susan (6/5): It was adequate but could be greatly improved with some minor fixes & upgrades. - Many things need to be fixed (especially the kitchen sink faucet!!!) or updated (many areas are run down) and the fridge should be cleaned out of random food from previous guests. I also had to move MANY shampoo/etc bottles out of the tub (it's okay to have a couple but there were so many there's no room to put your own stuff). Also very noisy if there are guests in upstairs unit (no sound proofing what so ever).

• Jody (7/5): Great value for money. I’d stay here again with my dog next time. - There was lots of space to sleep for the 8 of us. The kitchen came in handy for all our breakfasts and 1 dinner. The property was clean. It was a quiet safe neighborhood. The internet was so slow that it was practically nonexistent. I had to use my data the whole time. There wasn’t enough seating for the 8 of us in the living room. Not a huge fan of the motion sensor lights in the front door area and bathroom sink area. There was a sign outside (put up by the neighbours maybe) asking us to be quiet, even though we were not loud at all. We weren’t able to use Netflix while we were there (owners didn’t give us the code in time).

• Kat (10/5): Perfectly comfy, roomy, peaceful and relaxing stay - highly recommended! - Quiet, safe, cozy neighbourhood, phenomenally comfy beds, super clean, easiest check in ever and so many amenities - I wish we’d stayed more than 1 night! I hope I get to come here again!! No complaints - maybe a couple more garbage bins would be convenient? Otherwise, it’s a perfect stay.

• David (4/5): Not as quiet as expected. Requires improvement. - Location for exploring Vancouver. Oven door dangerous. We spent time debating whether bedding had been changed since the previous occupants as beds were poorly made, bedding creased and hair was inside one bed. Construction workers required entry to the apartment. We were unaware of their expected visit as email from host was only sent that morning and Wi-Fi had been unplugged by upstairs occupants. Construction workers were scheduled to instal a pod office to the rear of the apartment and needed to instal electric power from the panel in our bedroom. Very noisy occupants arrived in the apartment upstairs. Woken and kept awake 2nd night from 0050 to 0330. Woken and kept awake 3rd night from 2345 to 0115. It is not evident that washer dryer is in an outside shed. Washer dryer unusable as room is full of boxes etc. see photo. Not as quiet as expected. Requires improvement.
• David (6/5): Adequate for one night. - Provision of an ice chest for our trip. Very kind. Oven door fell off. No oven glove and no T-towel despite previous feedback saying theses were needed. We purchased oven glove and T-towel for the apartment.

• Catherine (7/5): Nice stay in a basic yet comfortable apartment. - The location was good, the neighborhood is nice, very accessible by public transport with a grocery store at a walking distance. The host was easy to communicate and the beds we're comfortable. The apartment was big enough for our party of six and pretty well equipped in terms of hygiene products and towels. Even though it was overall well equipped, the accommodation is pretty basic and some items were missing (dish towels) or limited (cooking utensils) and some almost broken (oven door, shower curtain). The washer and dryer were located outside the apartment and very hard to access.
