• Manuel (10/5): Fantastica y acogedora. - La casa te sorprende desde la entrada y va mejorando conforme vas viendo más estancias. Todo SUPER LIMPIO. La ubicación es buena. A 10min del centro de Hallstatt.Puedes aparcar en la misma puerta de la casa. Para el desayuno había todo tipo de infusiones y cápsulas de Nespresso. Muy bien.Dimos buena cuenta de la botella de vino que nos regalaron. Los baños estupendos, uno en cada habitación. Podría estar mejor un edredón mas grande. En la casa no hace frio pero por la noche se agradece taparse con algo y al ser algo justo (el edredón)me desperte varias veces destapado. Pero esta es mas una opinión personal. Mi esposa que es mas pequeña durmió muy bien. El colchón genial.

• Leanne (10/5): Fabulously clean comfortable well located house - Great to have the bedrooms with each their own bathroom. Lovely and warm cosy for our winter stay. Loved the full kitchen and the surprise wine and chocolate. Fabulous to have some basic cooking ingredients like olive oil, salt and pepper. Great hot showers! It was fabulous nothing of any concerns

• Michael (9/5): Excellent house on the edge of town. Close enough to be an easy walk but out of the tourist crowds. - Cozy cabin with plenty of common area. Great supply of appliances, dishware, and basics in the kitchen that we didn't have to purchase (milk, salt, pepper, sugar, etc.). Ample parking in front of the cabin for 2-3 cars. Easy walk into town without using the car. I would definitely recommend this cabin and not try to stay in town. It's best to stay outside the central part and walk in. Very nice bathrooms by European standards. Some of the bedrooms are tight if you have large suitcases. There were only 4 of us so we were able to use the living room and extra bedroom to unpack/repack. We had a difficult time finding the cabin in the dark. Google maps sometimes didn't recognize the address and when it did, it directed us to a house on the next street over. Fortunately, on the second pass down the street we noticed houses behind the one it indicated and that's where the cabin is. You must make a left turn a few hundred feet before the cabin to get to the correct street. Unfortunately, that street is one lane wide and hidden by a fence. It looks like a driveway in the dark. We got there late and started looking for a restaurant at around 7:00pm. Apparently, the town closes up about that time in December. Fortunately, we had stopped at a grocery store prior to arrival and had things to eat. DO NOT drive into the central part of Hallstatt, even if the traffic arms are up, as they were when we got there. We did not see the sign in the dark (and German) saying that only residents and service persons are allowed to drive in. We were scolded by a resident and told that if the police saw us there, it would be a E250 fine. It's also one lane most of the way so passing someone going the opposite direction is impossible. The cabin was very hot when we arrived. There is no way to regulate the temperature that we could find so we opened the windows and the doors and it cooled off nicely. Had to sleep with some windows open to keep it from getting too hot.

Authentic house with lots of subtle interiour details! Nothing to be frustrated about!

• Dirk (9/5): Alles top. Sehr gerne wieder. - Das Haus hat absolut unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Es waren genügend kostenlose Parkplätze im Grundstück enthalten. Dies bitte nur als Hinweis vielleicht für die nächsten Gäste mit in die Beschreibung aufnehmen. Kritik würde ich es nicht nennen wollen. Leider konnten wir mit der Pad-Kaffeemaschine nicht wirklich gut umgehen, da wir sonst nur "normalen" Kaffee trinken. :-) Glücklicherweise aber waren nach etwas Suchen noch die richtigen Pads vorhanden, da wir uns beim Einkaufen schon vertan hatten... Beim genannten Grill handelt es sich um einen Gasgrill, der nicht sofort verfügbar ist. Will man am ersten Tag grillen (wir hatten leider schon Fleisch im Grenzbereich der Haltbarkeit mit), sollte man dies im Vorfeld mit dem Vermieter klären. Aber am nächsten Tag war dem Grillgenuss dann kein Abbruch getan.

• Mykola (10/5): The best place for family vacation I've ever been - I travel a lot but this place is one of the best I ever stayed! Excellent for big family or two-three small families or group of friends. It has everything you may need for life. Owners even provided tooth paste and brush. You can use laundry or BBQ. Extremely silent location with nice view. It's very close to the city center of Hallstatt but at the same time you don't live in the crowd. Will be happy to back again. The price is quite high but it can be justified by location.

It’s clean, organized, and fully equipped. They even provided kids’ supplies and toys. We really enjoyed our stay. If I plan to visit Hallstatt again in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.
• Mary (10/5): Highly recommended and lovely home in Hallstatt - It was like a home away from home. Very open and airy ground floor. Excellent hosts, stairs, rooms and other facilities. Everything we needed were supplied. Location and parking were very important for us and were able to explore Hallstatt easily on foot. Heating was a bit high for us but the host adjusted the thermostat after we have requested.

• Morgan (10/5): The cabin was the perfect location for a fun and relaxing vacation with the family! - The cabin was very clean and had all of the amenities we could possibly need, including games, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, etc. the hosts also left helpful information and pamphlets full of information of things to do in the area. The location was within walking distance of the city, but still in a nice quiet area. There was very spacious free parking at the cabin that could fit multiple cars if needed.

• Timothy (9/5): Fantastic location in Hallstatt - The house was amazing!! The city was amazing except for food, so, plan on going north to grocery stores if you want to save money and cook. The restaurants nearby were nothing remarkable (except the location). The host was lovely and responsive. Great place and fantastic location for sightseeing the city. We went during the hottest time in June, which has NOTHING to do with the house, I do wish, however, there were some fans provided as it was very uncomfortable at night due to the climate/weather, as there is no air conditioning. If you are coming in colder months, I am sure it will be fine!! Cannot say anything bad about this house!!

Only because not knowing the local language makes watching local TV interesting. In Hallstatt at night almost everything is closed and it would be nice the have a family movie night or catch up on current events at home. Trust me I would rent this place again. During the day, you will not need the TV's. Haha
• Robert (10/5): Great and comfortable mountain house close to town center - House is comfortable for a family of four. Nicely decorated and bathrooms are well sized. Location is great. Only 5 minute walk along mountain river to town center. Check out is at 10am and cleaning service showed up at exactly 10am. Perhaps the host should hire extra cleaning person instead of just one so this way they could offer a later check out time.

• Asher (10/5): A great place to explore Hallstatt! - This is such a wonderful place to stay in Hallstatt. Location was easy to find and near to all places in Hallstatt. Check in was straightforward. Teresa was attentive and answered all questions promptly. House was fully equipped and nicely decorated and I appreciate the details in the house that reflect the specials of Hallstatt example the use of salt lamps. This is Hallstatt with the mountains so wifi in general (everywhere!) is unstable. Washing machine and dryer are outside the house so that is something to take note of.

Very spacious, very well thought through ameneties were placed, including small things such as a tooth paste and a bunch of toothbrushes. We felt at home (literally). Nothing.
• Puxi (10/5): cannot help to looking forward to visiting Hallstatt and living in the loghouse again - The loghouse is surrounded by mountains featured with beautiful sceneries, and just with 5~8 minutes walk from the valley center. The house is big, clean and tidy, everything is well-ornanized and there is wine for drinking and a book of kind tips for better visiting Hallstatt. Everything we need is in the loghouse and easily to be found, btw there is also a kitchen in the house and full sets of kitchenware. The owner of the house we lived in always respond our questions in time and so friendly. We have really enjoyed and relaxed ourselves during the 3 days visit, and can't help looking forward to visiting Hallstatt and living in the loghouse again in the near future. nope

The house was exceptional, great facilities and amazingly comfortable rooms and beds. Location was also excellent, right in the heart of Hallstatt within walking distance of the town.
