• Ana (1/5): The worst place we have ever stayed 😭 - Absolutely nothing! My whole family ended up with Hayfever just walking into the house. It smelt and looked like the house hasn't been touched for a very long time. The bed sheets were mouldy. The tiles in shower were slimy. The side door had a door stopper holding it shut because it was broken, anyone was able to enter via the side house. Dust pile up on all fans. Food bits on kitchen bins. Furniture was broken and very old. ( nothing like the pics!) We arrived after 17hrs on the road and was mourning our grandmother 😭 i rand the host and sent her photos of the property and was very upset at the state of the property 😢 i was too tired to leave and mentally couldn't deal with everything. The Host told us that the photos i sent was not that bad and if i had a complaint then contact booking.com ! If i wasn't mourning the death of my grandmother, i would've left straight away ! We literally just came back for a couple of hours every day and tried to stay at our families house for as long as we could 🥺 i really hope that no one else has to go through what just did 😔 i will try and upload some photos for proof.
• Charlene (1/5): Terrible, do not stay there! - Nice back deck, it did come with some rats at nighttime The property is extremely mouldy and damp, the living room ceiling has water from sitting in the ceiling. We stayed to nights and left due to the terrible damp Smell. We paid for 5 nights and left early as we could not be in the property. There was a dehumidifier running which I emptied serval times. We ended up booking a room through BASE at Ettalong in the Mantra.
• Vicki (7/5): Cute old beach house, nice space, great location, in need of some TLC & improved cleaning . - Cute older beach house, Location is great ,close to restaurants and waterways. We loved the big trees in and around the property. In need of repairs and upkeep, needs a good deep clean
• Kathleen (4/5): Old and dirty. Company doesn't care. Don't Book This Place. - The layout of the house was good. Very open from front to back. The area out the back was nice and large. The kitchen is well equiped. Was only a short walk to the water for a swim. Some of the furniture, bathroom fittings and parts of the back deck are damaged and are dangerous. Some of the linen was very dirty and stained. The whole place needs a really good clean. After our stay I gave this feedback to the host but they said that as my stay was over there was nothing they could do. Hopefully they repair things for the next visitor. At nearly $1000 a night I expected more.
• Cathy (3/5): Was very disappointed with the quality of this property for the high price. - There was no air conditioning that worked and was in one bedroom only. The tap in the main bathroom was broken. The front bedroom on the porch was not suitable. Couldn’t open ensuite door to get airflow. Bbq was filthy
• Daniel (6/5): House is a bit tired and overpriced - The location was good as close proximity to cafes, restaurants and beach no need to drive The main bedroom and ensuite were nice mas was the kitchen as they had all been renovated. As soon as you open the door it has an old house smell about it as it an old fibro type home that has been somewhat renovated. Very old dirty outdoor furniture. The fans never cleaned and had a thick coat of dust. The outside bedroom was small and the windows rattled all night in the wind would be way too hot to sleep in summer. No flyscreens anywhere or exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

• Petra (5/5): We liked the location and the backyard with the terrace but the cleaners did a very poor job! - The backyard and the terrace. It wasn’t clean when we arrived and there wasn’t much to clean it with, the vacuum cleaner didnt work. There were no bath mats in the bathroom and no tea towels in the kitchen. The front door was very hard to close and we could not close a door to one of the bedroom (right next to the toilet.
• Caitlin (8/5): Very good - House is great with heaps of character. Outdoor area great for kids. Nice big lounge. Ceiling fans were needed. Beds were perfectly fine. Had to buy own toilet paper and bin bags. Would love if there was washing machine facilities too. Cleanliness of bathrooms needs an improvement

• Katelin (7/5): Cute house in a great location but needs better upkeep to maintain the property. - We loved the location - a short walk to the water and Ettalong shops and cafes. we also loved the back yard and deck entertaining area. The floors were very dirty and no fly screens on the main front and back doors and windows on one of the bedrooms and so without air conditioning this isn’t ideal, particularly in the warmer weather.

• Karen (5/5): Over priced and needs considerable work. - Good number of bedrooms. back verandah pleasant in good weather Sadly a great deal. bathrooms had no exhaust fans and no door from ensuite to bedroom so worried about setting off alarms. that is till today when water was only very lukewarm in the shower. towels thin and in poor conditions. bedroom cupboard sliding door would open on one side. ensuite vanity doors and drawers would not all open. Curtains old, in poor condition or none at all. dining chairs old wooden outdoor chairs. I will stop there but could certainly go on. Really disappointed particularly given the cost.
