• Trena (10/5): Stay number 1 of many to come. - When we arrived on the island at our cottage. We immediately felt welcomed by our host Jamie and Terry. They were very informative of things on and off the island. We can't wait to return, as it was all we were hoping for and more. The cottage itself clean, comfortable and had all comforts of home. There was nothing we didn't enjoy about our stay at Cedar Island, except we ha to leave.

• Abrego (10/5): AWESOME!! - Our host Jamie was exceptional!!! We couldn't recommend this place enough, spacious, great location, clean with super natural light. She was extremely helpful, making our stay very relaxing. Thank you!! The back dorm has no instructions to locate the light switch, which is behind a dresser. It was difficult to see the room when we arrived very late at night the first day. Jamie was great and showed it to us the very next morning.
• Tedi-lea (9/5): Clean, spacious, kindly host, fabulous location- definitely would stay again! - Excellent location, enormous living area, helpful host! We were warned in the agreement that the back room could flood, but though it wasn’t flooding, there was a puddle on the floor in back room. We only needed two bedrooms, so that wasn’t a problem. However, if we did need 3, there might be some concern with the back room. The living room was so enormous with tons of couches/seating so someone could easily have bunked in there if the 3rd room had issues. I would definitely stay again.
• Jean (9/5): Have been looking forward to this vacation for months. It was everything I hoped for and more. - Could not have asked for a better location. It was peaceful beyond expectation. Loved sitting on the back deck and drinking my morning tea, and again at night. Lucky enough to watch a black crowned heron catching his supper directly across the canal. Everyone passing by on the canal smiled and waved. Really enjoyed this experience. My grand daughter and great grandchildren spent many hours on the beautiful beach, and in the lake. No complaints. It was better than anticipated. It is not a five star hotel, it is a cottage, a very comfortable and quiet cottage. It is roomy and had everything we needed and some things we had not expected. Loved the selection of books available.
• Narayan (7/5): It was a good stay and property is spacious - Lake was just in the front and a minute walk. Property need renovation. Towels and Bed sheets and bed cover need to be replaced.
• Terry (6/5): Pleasant - It was quiet. Perfect time to relax. The cleanliness of the kettle and coffee maker. I was only 50min from home so I just went and grabbed mine. Chimenia is in very rough condition. The BBQ caught fire from not being cleaned. The hosts brought us another one but the grill was rusty.. the utensils drawer could definitely use a cleaning. Had little bugs in it. All are easy fixes to keep guests happy. They have comfy beds, lots of towels, extra blankets. Nice area to take a stroll. The Hosts Jamie and Terry are very nice couple.
