• Gwen (9/5): - Het ontbijt was echt voortreffelijk: er was zelfs een verse fruitsalade. De gastheer had zich hier echt te buiten gedaan. De kamer was netjes met een comfortabel bed en een en suite badkamer.

Mr Jean-Marie, le propriétaire du logement, nous a reçu en tenue sortie de bain qui était negligemment fermé par la ceinture. De plus. Il n’était pas sobre et en proie à des problèmes personnels. C’est pas très professionnel. J’ai payé le logement en liquide soit 234 € et entre-temps mon compteur a été débité par booking. Le logement a donc été payé 2 fois. J’ai contacté Mr Jean-Marie par téléphone sans reponse puis j’ai envoyé un courrier pour lui demander le remboursement. Au téléphone, il m’a raconté que booking avait des problèmes informatiques pour le moment et qu’il attendait d’être payé avant de me rembourser. Je lui avait pourtant envoyé un extrait de mon compte reprenant la transaction. Mais rien n’y fait. Et depuis, j’attends toujours ce remboursement.

• Enrico (8/5): Very nice stay, the owner is very friendly, the room respects what in the picture. Good Breakfast - Maximum willingness and flexibility. The owner is very friendly. The room is large. Very good breakfast! The toilet is closed by a tent, suggest to add a door instead.

The location was perfect for the security of our two motorcycles as the car park was hidden and it was not an over busy road. Jean Marie, the owner, always put himself out and could not have been more helpful

• Yongling (10/5): Nice and lovely couple, like staying at my own house. - If you travel as a personal trip, that will be a perfect house, the host is super nice, preparing a decent room, a yummy and abundant breakfast, they own a bar, you can also have beers and talks there. Very nice couple. Because I went there for a business trip, i didn't rent a car, so it is very difficult for me to arrive and leave, but the host asked his friend to drive me to the customer's company, again, nice couple.

• Elizabeth (8/5): A very pleasant stay with charming hosts - Location was close to the town. A very good restaurant nearby. Our hosts were charming & friendly. Breakfast was very good . Good secure off road parking. Nothing.
• Anita (7/5): Highly recommended for travellers with dogs. - Perfect breakfast, as usual. Everything you could possibly wish for. The most comfortable bed in a hotel room, ever! Very dog friendly, with play area at the back of the house for dogs. The ceiling light in our room was not strong enough for a main light, and one of the bulbs needed changing, but this is a small thing.

• Sou (8/5): Comfy stay with a super nice owner and at reasonable price - It was located in a quiet place just off the town itself. The property also has a cafe cum pub. However, they have separate entrances. You can hardly hear anything. The cafe/pub also caters to more matured crowd. The property owner, Jean and his wife are so friendly and helpful. Jean even called to make a restaurant reservation for us. The restaurant he recommend served excellent food at super reasonable prices. It is also very popular. Located approximately 1km from Jean’s place. Premise is clean. The room is big, well equipped and clean. Bed is very comfy. If you are thinking of visiting Ypres (only 12 minutes by car) this is the place to stay. Nothing, really.

• U0015504 (7/5): Good - The location was very close to where we had to be and easy to find, the breakfast was good, simple, yet all you need for breakfast, parking was large, free. There is no tv, no wifi, and all could be a bit cleaner.

Very comfortable bed, with more channels available on the tv than we usually get. Extremely dog friendly host. Good location, about 2 kilometres from Poperinge. It had everything we needed, and we will be back. Nothing was too much trouble. Nothing negative.

Good location to visit the surrounding area with plenty of parking space Stale tobacco smell not in the room but around the building. Being nonsmokers, we picked this up but didn't affect our stay very much.

• Martin (10/5): So happy the first time that I stayed again - Couldn't ask for friendlier and more welcoming staff. Other places could learn something. Not much to say really, my second time there so knew exactly what to expect. It is a fair walk in to the town.

• John (9/5): Good Location, Excellent Breakfast, Convivial Hosts. - Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast which had plenty of variety for all tastes. From cooked egg & bacon to various cheeses, meats, bread, croissants, smoked salmon, yoghurts and fresh fruit cocktail, The hosts were very welcoming and could not do enough to ensure our stay was stress free. The fact that there is a bar attached to the accommodation is very convenient after a busy day out. Warning! The beer is strong! :) We will certainly be returning. Nothing
