• Marla (10/5): Great place in Muri - We loved the location right on beautiful Muri Beach. The private bungalow setup was wonderful with only four bungalows on the property, it felt peaceful and uncrowded. The pool was a great bonus, we used it daily and it was never busy. We also used the bicycles daily and really appreciated having them available. A few simple updates like brake adjustments and new seats would make them even better and more comfortable for guests. We opted not to rent a car or scooter and instead relied on walking, riding bicycles, and using the bus system. The bus comes by about every 30 minutes, and you can purchase a $35 pass for 10 rides that can be shared with others in your group. It was a great way to slow down and really experience the local vibe. The bungalow is up a steep hill, which is important to be aware of if you are walking or riding the bikes, but the payoff is an excellent view overlooking the lagoon. Easy access to the beach and lagoon made it simple to swim, relax, and explore the area. We rode the bikes to the night market several times to pick up dinner, and it was also an easy walk to Te Vara Nui Village for the dinner and fire show. We highly recommend adding the Cultural Village Tour to your experience. There is also a great bakery, a small market, and several relaxed dining options within walking distance.
• Ros (10/5): Great communication with Rosie when our arrival delayed. 10-15 minutes for breakfast. Tiare’s +++ - Not applicable The beach towels did not dry you, felt as if too new and needed more washing to soften up. They collected everything off the beach especially the coconut husks.
• Holden (8/5): Muri Moto Outlook - Great house & location. 10 min walk to Rarotonga sailing club and Tiares cafe great food at both places.Awesome balcony and pool. Driving access steep and parking limited too 3 cars with 5 buildings. Great triple filtered water for all houses to share. Lack of electric plugs in rooms.queen beds were uncomfortable easily fixed with mattress toppers. Snorkeling opposite in lagoon was good as we walked across to other island and saw a Turtle :) lovely staff around in morning. Bikes and kayaks to use. Would definitely stay again. As above

• Gavin Glenn (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would highly recommend it. - The villa was lovely & clean with a soft, comfortable bed and air con in the bedroom section. There was also a pedestal fan in the lounge/dining area which didn't work unless you manually started the fan's rotation. The cottage is compact with a balcony to enjoy the superb views. The kitchenette was very well equipped. It was great to have milk in the fridge on arrival. The pool was refreshing (the ladder type pool entry could be difficult for older people). Facilities - we didn't use the kayaks but it was great to have the filtered drinking water & the washing line. The hens & cockerels did not bother us at all. We didn't meet the hosts but they provided great advance information and were friendly in their communications. The cleaners were lovely. The proximity to the main island circular road, numerous beaches, restaurants & night markets was good. There was no traffic noise and it was a relaxing holiday. Thanks for a lovely stay. Parking was tight for 3 cars. If each of the 4 x one bed villas and 1 x 2 bed villas have a car, parking would be impossible. An hours extension to the 2pm check-in & 10am check out would be nice - as the planes (majority of guests come via Air NZ) only arrive after 1pm & customs/immigration queues take at least an hour to clear making arrival nearer 3pm at the earliest which would still provide cleaning time.

• Dayna (5/5): Good for a cheap place to stay - Beautiful spot overlooking the lagoon, good value for money, pretty central to everything we needed Black mould growing over all the walls in the bathroom, septic tank must have been full or over flowing as the smell was atrocious outside. Couldn’t sit on the deck and or swim in the pool and enjoy it as the sewage smell was overwhelming.

The walk from the main Muri beach area was unlit at night and dangerous with having a baby in a push chair and close to the road.

• Jade (10/5): Amazing! - Our stay was excellent. The accommodation was super clean and well-organized. The location right in front of the lagoon is great, and they have kayaks available for guests. I loved that they have a small “kitchen” with utensils, a small fridge, microwave, and eletric pan, so we were able to cook on the days when shops were closed. (We arrived on a Sunday, and Monday was a holiday, so the only options available were resort restaurants). The kitchen is enough to cook breakfast & fast meals. They have available filtered water fountain & laundry. They also have bicycles available for guests, which was a huge plus since we couldn’t rent e-bikes during our first two days. There are markets and bakeries nearby (5 minutes by car / 15 minutes walking). My husband and I loved our time in Muri and will definitely be back!

Easy 20 min drive or bus to town and other side of island for all other activities. Beautiful location - we had cocktails on deck most evenings to watch the bats fly out from the mountain. There was no air conditioning in the house apart from 1 of the 3 bedrooms. The house got to 42 degrees and the fans made zero difference. We all had to sleep in the 1 air conditioned bedroom, marae style.

Amazing filtered water tap available and big freezer meant we had nice cold drinking water each day (last time we were all over the motu looking for fill stations) pool was fantastic for late night dips , lovely hosts , 100000x better than a resort , wel def be coming back and recommending to all. • Margarita (10/5): Best value for money I've experienced in my life - The villa had everything you might need, amazing to be able to use bikes, kayaks and a laundry. Very functional kitchen, and handy to have wifi and aircon. Good size fridge. A great value for money overall Just minor improvement suggestions: currently the kitchen towels don't absorb water at all, so they are useless at wiping dishes. It would also be handy to have a glass for toothbrushes/ dish brush in the kitchen - we used a drinking glass for that purpose. Other than that, a perfectly comfortable stay

Lovely view of sunrise. 10 min walk to restaurants, market and supermarket. Comfortable spacious house. Great to have filtered water available. We enjoyed using the bikes and kayaks and appreciated the beach towels supplied. Excellent rubbish disposal. The oven wasn't great and a sharp knife would be helpful. We needed more tea towels and had to ask for a linen change even though we were staying for 12 days. This was done promptly. We could kayak opposite the house but a sandy beach was a bit further away.

The kids at the back (muri vistas) got up very early and were very noisy. AC in bedroom is good but very hot in living area. Kitchen needs a blind for privacy at night and to block light in morning.

• Pauline (8/5): I had an amazing stay at Muri Motu Outlook. The view from the cottage was amazing, and I felt at home. Rose gave me valu - The location is really nice close to shops and restaurants. The cottage is really nice, the bed king size and confortable. The swing pool is nice to get refreshed. Bikes and canoe available for free It is not sound proof at all and when neighbours are on there terrasse or at the pool, we hear everything as if we were in the same room. It would be nice to have a portable gas cooker to be able to cook more easily when not eating out.

Use of bikes & kayaks was a bonus! No Power points in bathrooms for the use of hairdryers etc.

• Kim (10/5): Girls trip - Great location, we had a room each in the house which had everything we needed, including lots of supplies. Had an awesome pool and straight across from the beach. Will definitely stay there again. Stagg were super friendly and made our stay amazing. Thank you

• June (10/5): We will be back to stay at Muri Motu Outlook. - The Communication with the owners, was awesome. The house was spotless and clean and we felt at home. The Water Pressure was absolutely Perfect, and the sun set and sun raise was amazing. Thank you Maybe a celling fan or Air con in the Lounge or Hallway.

• Selwyn (7/5): Lovely outlook. Very comfortable bed. Not so easy or safe to walk to shops and restaurants at night. - An outdoor table on terrace would be useful. Telephone and TV access was unavailable.
• Valerie (8/5): Very good - The view was great and facilities very good. We enjoyed the local animals except for the noisey roosters. They definitely need culling.

• Charmaine (10/5): Exceptional - All we can say is Wow! The views are stunning, beautiful sunrises. Very private and close to all attractions. Being in a cottage surrounded by banana trees and tropical plants, and overlooking the lagoon was truly something else! The hosts Scott and Rose are very accommodating, we absolutely loved our stay here. Beats staying in a hotel room for sure. Can't wait to come back❤🧡💛
• Jessica (8/5): Great location, great hosts. - Great location, close to cafes and lagoon. Lovely grounds. It was great having 2 bathrooms. The 2 double rooms were great and opened onto the deck. Nice french doors opening from bedroom and living area out onto a large deck. Hosts very helpful and friendly. It was great having access to kayaks and bikes too. The twin bed room is more suitable for children than adults due to the bed comfort and and no privacy (has curtains but they didn’t close fully….and blind or net would be good for changing during the day). The pool is lovely but gets shaded over in the afternoon due to it’s location.
