Guest Reviews
- Kristine (9/5): - Closeness to town facilites. Ambiance. Ease of parking.
Across road from coffee shop.
Feeling of home Because of mobility issue a short rail at steps is a necessity and would be appreciated. Downstairs bed a little too soft for our preference.
Would have liked extended railing (another 2/3 steps) on internal stairs.

- maureen (9/5): a comfortable place out of the relentless rain for me and dogs, - I like the ease of getting to the property and that that you just unpack your bag and everything else is provided. There is a little fenced garden for the dogs which is a bonus. The host allows more than one dog and doesn't restrict them to tiny dogs. It has become quite expensive to stay as often as I would like.
- Christopher (7/5): Great location, interesting quirky building, cosy set up, - Location.
Unusual attractive building.
Nice enclosed yard/garden excellent for dog. Kitchen utensils limited.
- Avril (10/5): Exceptional - Quaint peaceful lovely Nothing

- John (7/5): I wouldn't really recommend - was beautiful church conversion the upstairs shower didn't drain properly. the downstairs shower's heater didn't work. there was dust and cobwebs all over lights above our bed and fan blades, I got sinus. tv remote batteries were too flat, so got tv on, but nothing would work after that. road very noisy as right on mian road and bakery across ro a d, so from early cars and trucks stopping and taking off, and trains close too. We were ok because there for a wedding, but don't expect a nice quiet place, but then because of the way the conversion is, you are told to keep tv down and talking to a minimal after 10pm.
- Valerie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa (8/5): Great place to stay to enjoy everything that the highlands has to offer. Josette was a fab host. - Cosy and original house, good set up with two bathrooms. Great location. Love that it is pet friendly. There was some noise from traffic and the other inhabitants at the property.
- Tarini (8/5): Very good - The conversion is beautiful, comfortable place with everything you need Downstairs bathroom had some issues with plumbing of shower

- Miriam (10/5): Outstanding style and comfort - Such a creative and beautiful conversion of an old church. It is styled immaculately and was the perfect accommodation for my husband and I for the weekend. Josette was a lovely, generous host and provided all the bits and pieces (plus some!) that we could want during our stay. It’s situated perfectly on the Main Street and we could walk wherever we wanted in town.

- Vargis (3/5): We vacated one day early because it was not a pleasant stay at all. Now we think many times before our next booking. We - Location was alright It was not cleaned properly. The rugs were so dirty and made us sick. The towels provided were dirty and since it is dark in colour, was hard to find out whether they were cleaned properly after their previous use. No handling things in good hygiene. Eg. tissues were not new but the owner was just refilling to the existing box. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. were all refilled to the left over bottles. We were happy to give few inputs to improve the service, but the owner always defended with her arguments.

- Stephanie (9/5): Gorgeous and Relaxing Stay - Josette is super lovely and met us when we arrived. She gave us alot of info about the area which was really helpful. We also loved meeting her cute dog Nero 😄 The Church Conversion was gorgeous , even though we ate out most of the time, the kitchen had everything you would need. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. The design, artwork and all the little touches like flowers and herbs were beautiful and the whole place smelt really lovely too. It was central to everything, we walked to the pub up the road for dinner which had the best Chicken Parmi I have had in a long time. Galleries, shops and cafes are within a few minutes drive and walk and its not far from Bowral, Berrima and Kiama. Its a great Central base and we enjoyed staying there. Only a couple of tiny things. The mirrors upstairs are a little low, I had to duck to put makeup on but we are fairly tall so its not a major hassle in the scheme of things and the lights in the bathroom were also a little dark too.
