- Michael (10/5): A great place to stay in Deloraine - Excellent, spacious and well appointed accommodation and was made very welcome by the host who met us on arrival and showed us around. I wish we'd been able to stay longer Nothing
- Haylee (10/5): - Friendly staff. Quiet by close to town
- Emerton (10/5): -
- Linda (7/5): Comfortable characterful cottage in a good location. - Cottage had lots of character. Decent location. The host made a point of greeting us. Cottage grounds are attractive. Laundry was useful. Only one tiny waste container provided. Would have liked a garbage container in the bathroom. Bathroom very tight. No mirrors in the bedrooms. Kitchen is very tiny.

- hangglider (10/5): Magnificent residence surrounded by wonderful grounds - Staying in this house on the grounds of a magnificent estate was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed everything about our experience, including the very comfortable beds as well as the heaters in every room and the reverse cycle air con in the lounge. We also very much enjoyed the peace and quiet – the occasional bird tweeting was the only noise. In addition to the two bedrooms, the house has a large lounge (with many DVDs and books available) as well as a comfortable dining room. Nothing
- Russell (10/5): Very comfortable - Everything Nothing to dislike
- Stephanie (9/5): Comfortable home stay - Lovely cottage and very well equipped. A short walk to town of about 15 mins which we found very nice during the daylight hours.

- Colleen (10/5): - A beautiful estate and the coach house was very comfortable - the beds, shower, heating all excellent
- Bruce (10/5): - Comfortable bed, good shower, cooking facilities and a lovely expansive garden. There were a lot of little extras we didn't use, but were available. Shoe polished, slippers, shace coats and more. The microwave was up a bit high, there was quite a high step going from the kitchen to the laundry and the timber base bed did squeak a little. TV reception was scratchy.None of these were game changers though.
- Kristine (10/5): Charming cottage - Beautiful setting. Comfortable and warm unit. Everything we could need. I dont like to say it but the bedhead was squeaky.

- Tammy (9/5): Comfortable cottage in lovely surroundings. - Very warm and welcoming for our one night stay. Kitchen was well equiped for us to cook dinner. Bed was comfortable, modern bathroom facilities and grounds were well looked after. Television was tiny and tv reception was terrible. Bin for the waste was far too small as well.
- Kathy (10/5): Great stay at a great location - Great location close to town - would have loved to walk around the grounds but the weather wasn't kind while we were there. Great heating options throughout the cottage including the bedrooms. Appreciated the local info in the folders. Loved the selection of books, CD's & DVD's to help fill in the long winter nights
- Kym (7/5): It was nice but with more time to enjoy it would have been good. - Quaint cottage that had everything on hand Unfortunately our flight was late so when we arrived it was extremely dark.
Thankfully another guest staying came out and helped us find when we were meant to be.
The sliding door into the laundry toilet area didn’t close properly which let cold air in.
The bedroom is also chilly with only a small fan heater.
- Luke (7/5): - Beautiful old house and cute cottage, good location, nice and warm and Lyn was an amazing host. The dead rabbits rotting around the grounds, they need to be picked up. I saw at least 6 and I didn’t go far.
- Chris (7/5): -

- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geoffrey (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): Very nice quiet location - Location excellent. A huge garden to look after and there was a rabbit plague which damaged the lawns. External patio not swept.
- Pennell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (6/5): A mixture of good and not so good. - Beautiful historic house with great heating and plenty of blankets for cooler nights. It was equipped like a home for longer stays, and the location and views were wonderful, the hosts were on vacation so we didnt meet them, what let it down was the need for a deep clean the toilet area had built up dirt in the corners, half rolls of toilet paper and the toilet brush needs replaced. The kitchen jug had built up tannin from the water and we had to give it a good clean, tea and coffee was very limited and there was a dirty tissue in the coffee container. Plenty of cobwebs also.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (10/5): Fit for a Queen... - What are unique charming and wonderful place. Hospitality was awesome. Facilities were incredibly well maintained. All accessories and appliances were top notch. Full kitchen, temperature controlled shower. The entire place was immaculate. "Fit for a Queen". The grounds were lovely with many rabbits and trees laden with ripe apples and peaches that were delicious. Will highly recommend and return again. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. Washing machine and dryer with powder... very fluffy and comfortable dressing gown supplied for use as well.
- Lisa (10/5): Best stay in Deloraine - Fabulous!!
Comfortable and quiet…everything you need.
Wonderful hosts
- Bronwyn (10/5): Comfortable and inviting - Cottage was very comfortable and homely. Friendly hosts
- Heather (8/5): Very good - Historic cottage, which has been renovated beautifully. Not very practical. Bathroom, although appealing, was very small on space for hanging clothes and had nowhere at all for personal items.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - What a treat! beautifully renovated coach house full of character. Loved walking around the garden. Thanks Rod wish we could have stayed longer.
- Bay (10/5): A highlight of our Tasmanian driving trip. - The Gardener’s Cottage was delightful - plenty of space, well-equipped and thoughtfully decorated. In the grounds of the beautiful historic mansion Tahara, just a short drive to shops etc. Our hosts Rod and Lynne could not have been more welcoming. Everything was wonderful.
- Rick (9/5): Superb - The rabbits and Jock
- Geoffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (7/5): Good -
- Robert (10/5): Very cosy cottage on the outskirts of Deloraine. - Very cosy cottage on the outskirts of Deloraine. Exceptional renovation and very well appointed cottage. Surrounded by beautiful gardens.
- Spencer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Idris (10/5): Highly recommend staying here if travelling around Tassie.. - Beautiful friendly hosts who made us feel so relaxed and welcome. The quality of the 'Coach House' cottage is superb and extra comfortable. We both had a wonderful needed stay here. It was the 'cherry on the cake' whilst holidaying in Tassie. We will definitely stay here again. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): One of the best places we have enjoyed in Australia! - We appreciated the hospitality afforded by the hosts. We really enjoyed meeting them and chatting. Would have loved to stay longer. All perfect!
- Martin (10/5): Lovely accommodation in beautiful surrounding - The accommodation is extremely comfortable and well appointed. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. A car is needed as it is a bit out of town It was a bit strange having clear glass on the toilet window at ground level
- Moore (10/5): Very comfortable and quiet. A good position with many places to visit close by - A great location for the 4 of us and mostly because of Deloraine being in such a central position with lots of places of interest a relatively short drive away - within 30 minutes. I really dont have any complaints at all since we got exactly what we wanted
- Brenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (9/5): very relaxing stay in a lovely location - The location is lovely. The gardeners cottage is in the grounds of a large manor house. It is a short 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Deloraine. The cottage is well appointed with all you could need to self cater. There are several places to eat in town but some close on mondays and tuesdays. The decor and furniture is in keeping with the nature of the cottage. Some may prefer more modern facilities but didn't bother us.
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Highly recommend this property everything was perfect.
Hosts were amazing We couldn't stay longer
- Kari-ann (9/5): Superb -
- Liddy (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good - Great comfortable and spacious unit very clean and peaceful
Great value for money. The bathroom toiletries were nearly empty and very few tea bags in the kitchen.
Minor things
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Close to town, nice and quiet and everything we needed.
- Kirstie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - This is a very beautiful, peaceful cottage with convenient parking. The bed was very comfortable and the host has provided a lot of nice touches (sewing kit, bathroom amenitities, ziploc bags in the kitchen, etc.). We really like the little town of Deloraine. It's a bit of out of the main area of town, but we were able to walk into town. Nothing
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (9/5): 2 br self-contained cottage in grounds of a stately home for less than the cost of a hotel room. - Beautiful restored building originally stables to a stately home. Excellent gardens. Fan in bathroom not working. Spiderwebs in toilet complete with 2 spiders (but only daddy longlegs so not really a major issue)
- Graham (10/5): Tahara cottage an unexpected gem - The Tahara cottage was a warm and comfortable home away from home. The owners, who live close by, were charming, thoughtful and hospitable. The cottage offers so much more in home-like comforts than the usual tourist accomodation and we recommend it highly. Deloraine is a charming, quiet and walkable town with good access to Cradle Mountain National Park (1.5hr drive) the northwest and the Central Highlands. The kitchen was modest in size which made large meal prep a little challenging. However, it was extremely well equipped with coffee grinder, full oven, cook top. toaster, microwave etc.
- Raymond (9/5): Tranquil cottage - A quiet, delightful cottage set in lovely gardens. The host Rod, was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing
- Louise (10/5): We would definitely return, good value for money. - Beautifully decorated with local art, very comfortable and quiet. The grounds are beautiful.
- Jane (8/5): A comfortable, spacious and quiet cottage. - Excellent location on the grounds of an estate, quiet, spacious, many thoughtful inclusions, private and comfortable. TV was old and had a sound issue, although generally clean, there were some surfaces that needed more attention such as the bathroom cupboard, toilet wall and skirting boards and window surrounds.
- Troupe (9/5): Superb -
