Guest Reviews
- Alexander (6/5): Comfortable enough for a week stay with great communication by the host. But disappointing location and somewhat dirty a - Quiet part of Akaroa TV reception was limited and poor (no channel 9) having to use my laptop to watch television.
The bed and the sofa was ok but at times ended up with a numb back side having them be thin on a slatted bed.
‘Holiday by the beach’ is false advertising as it is not by the beach but on the main road with no views of water whatsoever ever.

- Sarah (7/5): This was a good base to stay while exploring the area. - There was enough space for 4 adults and 4 kids, and the kids enjoyed having their own separate space in the games room. It was also good having two toilets, with the en-suite. It wasn’t relaxing or that pleasant to sit around outside (it was a bit noisy from road traffic, and the grass was quite long and the garden was overgrown).

- Suwanna (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): We all enjoyed it - The set up and condiments, and facilities were first class. Front gate is very difficult to open from the out side
- Donna (8/5): Everyone was impressed by the house. We would book it again. - Just about everything. :) Beds were VERY hard :(
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ingrid (8/5): Very good - The addition of the games room was good, the kitchen is set up well with all that you could need. The location wasn't great, we were away from shops / beaches / etc... had I known it was that far away I would have looked elsewhere for accommodation. The beds were uncomfortable, and the hot water ran out after four showers, which was not ideal when there were 6 of us (the house accommodates 8). Thin beach towels provided rather than proper bathroom towels also not great.
- Johanna (8/5): Very good - Spacious home High traffic area
- Faye (9/5): Superb -
- Max (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (9/5): A very clean property, great yard space, would be ideal for a family or group. - Large yard, very clean, a few food items in the cupboard, secure parking, close to Peron Dunes Perhaps a note in the email to enter the property from the side street.
Mattress in main bedroom was not overly comfortable.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - The home was lovely.Very well supplied with everything you could want or need.Home away from home.Very clean. Loved it all.
- Katie (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - The games room was a nice addition for the kids at the end of the day.
It was very clean and had everything we needed to self cater. It felt like home away from home. Netflix was an added bonus when the rain came in the afternoon.
- Dianne (9/5): Superb -
