• Sharon (7/5): It was okay experience, but I won’t choose it again if I return to El Chalten. - Fairly good location, short walk to the village center. Great water pressure. Very clean property. This is a loft. There are no windows on the other side of the wall so basically you don’t get good airflow in the unit. Cooking will be challenging without a fan and airflow. There are 3 tiny windows that can be opened. One in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and another one upstairs in the bedroom. There are all in one side of the wall which is bad design. Cooking smells won’t get out, flies are constantly coming to visit which is super annoying. At night, downstairs gets cold but the bedroom upstairs doesn’t get cool air at all even when it’s in the 30s Fahrenheit outside. Another issue is inconvenience if you need to get up to use the bathroom. It’s downstairs. I guess it’s ok for young adults but not for us.
• Xiaobai (9/5): Superb - The host is very nice and easy to communicate with. She provides us a lot of useful information. The cabin is very close to the trail head of Laguna Torre Trail. I hope there are more utensils in the kitchen.
• Andrea (10/5): Hope to stay again! Beautiful place. - Outstanding hospitality from Martina! Lots of recommendations, and attention to detail. The cabin has everything that’s possibly needed and is fully equipped, and very cozy - I wish I could’ve stayed longer!
• Gabriel (7/5): Comfy basic studio for a short stay. - Very modern cabin with good heating. Basic facilities were provided such as kitchen, clothes rack, etc.. Hosts were really nice and helpful, with optional daily cleaning (like in a hotel). The property was advertised to have a "garden/landmark/mountain view", which it didn't at all. The largest window was very small and was overlooking another cabin and an overgrown bush. I'm attaching a picture. The price is extremely high for Argentina.
