Guest Reviews
- William (10/5): Thanks very much for allow to check in early. Much appreciated - Very nice & comfortable
- Mike (7/5): - Upstairs bathroom, comfy furniture, good kitchen, location in Launceston. The hot water system/shower was low pressure and very difficult to adjust the temperature, even a small amount of cold water seemed to overwhelm the hot.
- Jennifer (7/5): - Good location. Off street parking Lack of hot water, power switch loose.
- David (9/5): It was great place to stay very central to all places - Close to the city
Pub just up street very nice meals
Plenty cafes and eateries close by
Easy to find when coming from airport Only had double bed queen would have been better
- Maharjan (9/5): - location and gesture of welcome bath tap for shower
- Peter (6/5): The property is convenient to local services. - Very convenient to Launceston with coffee and hotels close. Some fixtures didn’t work and a good clean would help the overall experience.
- Barbara (8/5): Lovely city accommodation. - Delightful well appointed accommodation. Off street parking for our 2 vehicles. TV was good.
- Ursula Marjorie (9/5): Really nice accomodation, giving each of us comfort and privacy, and close to town and cafes. - Had to ring the staff as couldn't open the door. It was stiff. Again hard to open the door when we got back. Stiff.
- MING (10/5): - 位置很中心,是个俩层TOWNHOUSE,房间收拾的非常干净,还有欢迎巧克力,厨房设施也是很好,有雀巢胶囊咖啡机,味道好极了,推荐, 没有
- Janet (7/5): Great location and spacious - Great location, walkable to cafes, restaurants and supermarket. Spacious for a family or small group. Property needs some maintenance. Shower pressure is low and difficult to adjust water temperature. Very small en-suite and back courtyard needs some love.
- Shane (10/5): Comfortable and centrally located house at a great price - Location was great. House was well presented and very homely. Only recommendation would be a bigger bed in main bedroom
- Porhan (8/5): -
- Kathryn (9/5): Great little home! - Great location! House was great for 5 ppl...fabulous little home with 2 bathrooms which makes it easier when there's 5 ppl! Loved having fans in the bedrooms...best location the 2 double beds seemed very small for 2 adults..
- Mark (8/5): Enjoyed - Everything provide Nothing
- Ben (8/5): -
- Martin (10/5): A great place in a central location. So comfortable - Awesome place. So comfortable and well located. Nothing.
- mcdonald (10/5): -
- Maciej (7/5): - Location. We'll equipped kitchen Carpets were well used and dusty
- Beverley (8/5): -
- Kevin (9/5): - Location was excellent with a nice street of cafes eateries and small grocery store just at the end of the street. The cottage was very comfortable with a small esuite for the downstairs bedroom. Nice kitchen and living area. Every thing was really nice but a quick run through by a repair person would benifit the house. A small issue with the downstairs ensuite door lock needs repairing as once locked wouldnt unlock The key lockbox was not opening easily. Having a letter at the beginning of the code was confusing. Does one push the corresponding button once to select a letter or three times as with electronic devices?
The quaint vanity cabinet over the downstairs sink was more of a hinderence than useful. It would be easier to use the sink with a flush wall mounted mirror. Otherwise our stay was very enjoyable.
- DIAN-XUAN (8/5): - 在市區裡有自己的停車空間非常方便,沙發跟床也很舒服 二樓的洗澡水壓比較小,沒有較大的鍋子,不方便煮全家人的火鍋,但其他東西都很齊備
- Graham44 (9/5): - Brilliant Accommodation spoilt by a shower that just dribbles out
- shufen (8/5): -
- clifford (9/5): - House had a lovely homely feel. Well equipped kitchen. Close to a variety of cafes and restaurants. Close to supermarket. Nothing
- Brian (1/5): - How cleverly the owners advertise that there is a bath to use , but the house doesn't provide enough hot water to fill it .
A DOG ACT !!! Got this house because we wanted a bath .
After paying for it , we received a message stating that there hot water cylinder isn't big enough to full ur bath with hot water and would take 4 hours to reheat , so we would prefer u to use the showers .
DONT TRUST THESE OWNERS , THEY WILL PULL THE WOOL OVER UR EYES ...
DOG !!!
- Marianne (8/5): - Nice sized rooms. Lots and f little extras.
- John Nichol (10/5): - Good location. 15 minute walk into town. 1 min to a really nice cafe
3km if you want to walk to York Park for the AFL.
Very comfortable for 5 and adults.
Has its own carpark.
- Andie (10/5): - House is fabulous! Home is spacious, warm and beds are really comfy. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. I love when you get some pantry items to help when cooking!! It's walking distance to coles and a short drive to local attractions. 2nd time staying here and hope to be back!
- Angela (8/5): The owner was very helpful during our stay and kindly let us checkout late as our flight was late afternoon. -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - Great location, comfortable place.
- Mark (9/5): Overnight stop for early flight - Cozy and quiet. Good facility and clean Tight parking spot. And poor water pressure
- Selina (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tobias (9/5): Superb -
- Brady (8/5): Very good -
- Erica (7/5): Good - Good location; lots of space in the property; off-street car park. Upstairs double bed not very comfortable; property was quite old and dated - was difficult to get the water temperature right in the upstairs shower. Host suggested at check in that we don't use the bathtub unless we wanted to wait 4 hours for the hot water to regenerate afterwards.
- Patricia (9/5): I would highly recommend this property. Great having 2bathrooms, beds were so comfy and having a washing machine availab - Very comfortable and close to good cafes The tea towels!
- Bin (9/5): Superb -
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - Just tick all boxes made us feel welcome 🤗Marlene was so wonderful she helped in every way 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Larrainec (8/5): Quaint stay in a beautiful city. - The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. Very easy parking, easy cafes and restaurants clise by. Coles in the next block. Negatives were the front entry was very untidy and unwelcoming, and the back courtyard was also unkempt, not inviting at all. The unsuited shower downstairs is terrible, water spurts everywhere and hard to regulate, needs replacing. Unfortunately, there was only 1 teabag provided, maybe housekeeping needs a bit of a shake up? In all we enjoyed our stay, the walk to town is lively, the home back up the hill a bit arduous as I get older. All up, it was a lovely stay and Launceston impressed me.
- Debbie (10/5): Comfortable and homely and everything you need in the house 10 out of 10. - Such a homely beautiful house so close to coffee shops Main Street to every where.Tidy clean and beds and pillows are so comfortable. The owner of the house helps you anyway as possible.
- Tony (8/5): A pleasant place to stay - Lovely and clean - great location and excellent value for money. Showers pressure was very average
- Carmel (8/5): Very good - Much more spacious on the inside than first impressions from the street. Loved all the historical buildings along the street. Appreciated the off street parking....a bit tight for our Isuzu MUX but managed ok.
Lovely, friendly neighbours & locals, very close to Coles & cafes. Great self contained facilities. A small bbq would be a plus. Challenging to adjust shower pressure & temperature. Backyard courtyard could do with a tidy up but great to have a clothesline.
- Karola (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ken (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (9/5): Really enjoyed Strahan 🤩 - Lovely townhouse, excellent bathrooms, divine beds and pillows were “just right”. The shower heads definitely need an upgrade though, as a more advanced nozzle would give a greater direction and pressure.
- Kathy (8/5): It’s ok for a short stay - Location The kitchen is not very clean
- Applebar (10/5): Exceptional - Have everything we need in the house. Easy and enough parking space. The air condition is on when we got in which is a surprise. Clean and sweet rooms. Quiet at night. We just love to stay there to feel more close to local residents. The rooms upstairs are so hot even in the night (air conditioner downstairs does not help much), and that's when I realized there are fans available in the rooms.
- Wendy (8/5): Great location and cosy house - Fantastic location very close to good restaurant and coffee shop. Cosy lounge and comfortable bedrooms. Very helpful and friendly owner. Great price.
- Stan (9/5): Very good & convenient. -
- Jane (7/5): Excellent Location - The location is very good, near city and supermarket. Shower water pressure very low, difficulty to have a proper shower. The house has bad smell, and needs fresh air.
- Rob (8/5): Very nice - Nice and comfortable property Shower water pressure low
- Carol (9/5): Character property in good location - We had a good stay at this property which was a 5 minute walk from the city centre. We had a pub and pasta shop on our doorstep, both serving good food. We didn't mind the double beds, but they may not suit everyone.
- Lynn (9/5): Comfortable, good location and restaurants within good walking distance. - Location was perfect for what we were doing during our stay. Nice court yard but needs a bit of love.
- Mark (8/5): Top location - Cody 3 bedroom house, 2 bathrooms and good central location
- Rose (8/5): Our stay was comfortable, convenient and the house had everything we needed. Would stay again -
- Richard (10/5): Overall the unit was pretty good and very close to city centre, good parking. - The unit was in a great location easy to find and could park the car in driveway not on street, however we had a smallish car anything bigger would have had a problem especially with reversing out, everything in the unit was ok except below. The water in the showers was poor very hard to get water temp right and get enough water, the outside area not maintained with red back spiders in the sliding doors.
- Darrell (10/5): Cosy cottage - Lovely cottage with everything you need for a short or long stay. Very conveniently located close to town with nearby cafes and restaurants. Nothing to complain about.
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ting (9/5): Superb -
- Cailie (7/5): Good - Very close to city. Easy walking distance to supermarkets and shops. Upstairs bedrooms became very hot during the day and into the night. Very hard to cool down with only a window and ceiling fan.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and very comfortable town house.
- Belinda (8/5): Great spot to stay in Launceston - Close proximity to shops and Gorge.
- Hilary (9/5): Made our stay in Launceston that bit more enjoyable!! - Great correspondence, fabulous location! Excellent little house for a group! Thank you!! -
- Stephen (8/5): Good apart from water temp - Clean, location Driveway hard to get into, altho street parking was available.
Water got cold quickly
- Kathleen (10/5): Stayed here twice on our visit to Launceston and it suited us perfectly - 2 Bedroom 2 bathroom Everything was perfect for our needs. 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom accommodation. Lot of eateries close by as well as a Coels supermarket. Easy walking distance into the main street area
- Janita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Toni (8/5): Fantastic city position - Great position, so handy to town, walking distance to markets. Fabulous position. Very noisy but that was mentioned in the write up, so was expected. Needs a good clean around the bottom bedroom screen door.
- Jolene (8/5): Very good -
- Kathleen (10/5): Suited our needs perfectly - We had a lovely stay. I travelled with my Grandson and his partner and the two bedroom two bathroom setup was ideal for our needs. Everything needed to self cater if you wanted but there was also eateries close by and just a short walk into the CBD. There was a Coles supermarket about 200 metres away for any supplies needed.
Check in was easy and Marlene was very responsive to any communication.
Would happily stay again if ever in Launceston
- Renay (9/5): Superb - Close to everything, nice and clean. Could use a tv upstairs.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Danelle (9/5): Superb - Great location with everything we needed.
- Stuart (8/5): Very good - Was excellent from Start to finish apart from the things mentioned above.
Which aren't all the fault of the owners of course, I had asked about the extra parking before arrival, was told plenty of parking out the front of the property. Weren't able to park another car out the front. But parking available in the next street & able to park two cars in the driveway. ( We did have 3 vehicles )
Hot water up stairs didn't work. From the start, we had five guests.
Was loud music coming from behind the brick wall in the back yard very late Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday morning, so no sleep for any of us. Very disappointing as we all had to drive a fair distance home
The rubbish bins were almost overflowing on arrival.
- Jing-zong (8/5): A lovely house sit near the city centre with all facilities we need - Nice location, the house sit in a quiet alley but only 10 minutes away from city centre on foot. Also the host Marlene is very nice and responsed quickly. The water pressure is too low for showering, and it's hard to adjust the temperature.
- Mandi (10/5): Great location. Quirky house. - The location was brilliant. Quirky house. The showers had low pressure and difficult to adjust the temperature.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Want to live here - Stayed at multiple places when on holiday in Tasmania and this was our favourite. Great location. Quiet street but close to everything.
Beautiful place - want to live there! Not much at all really.
- Julie (8/5): Ideal for a family to get around and see Launceston. - Location was excellent. Nearby cafes and restaurants. Functional. Beds were on the small size and too soft for our liking. Plumbing not the best.
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Geoffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Robyn (8/5): Very good - Upstairs shower did not have pressure and the water dripped out.
All beds were double, to small for a couple
- Patrecia (9/5): Superb - Marlene responded quickly to all enquiries Parking in driveway was tight. Passengers got out before I put car in driveway
- Shane (10/5): Very comfortable house close to the CBD - Close to the city centre
Comfortable beds and lounge
Good value for money
Receptive host
- Gordon (7/5): You get what you pay for! - Excellent value and lovely neighbourhood This property needs maintenance, handles all falling off kitchen cupboards. It was generally tired.
- Boon (7/5): Overall a value for money and comfortable stay - Parking just outside the house, short distance walk to city amenities Exterior looks bit rundown
- Harriet (8/5): Comfy living room and prefect location - The location is really good, full set of facilities with three comfy bedrooms. My fav part is the living room with a large L shape sofa and TV where I spent some quality time with my family. The kitchenware is not particularly clean.
- Marcus (5/5): Good location but a very tired cute little house. Needs some love but close to everything you need. - Location, close walk into City, Coles, good cafe/restaurants and bars. Aged, aircon controller batteries out and had to replace, kitchen equipment, carpet, bathroooma needs updating, beds small and not enough good pillows. Overall house is in a great location needs some love and investment.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melinda (8/5): Fabulous for two couples - Very spacious - plenty of room for two couples travelling together
- Thai (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (5/5): Passable - Location Showers were either boiling hot or freezing cold
Noisy pipes banged every time someone used the water
Rubbish left in the walls - small doors in rooms upstairs
Unclean- walls in kitchen covered in grease, showers mouldy, dust everywhere
Smelled of old grease cooking
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Lee (9/5): Very pleasant, great location and nice townhouse that use a good tidy up. - Well located. Nice townhouse. It could have been a bit tidier looks old used boxes in laundry, lawn needed mowing.
